Something around the £30 a night mark, I am not sure what the going rate is for rooms in either place. If I have to pay more so Brit but the main need is the ability to be able to bring someone back, that's something hostels generally don't allow. Cheers rxpharm for your response.

As I am backpacking and staying in hostels, I won't be able to take anyone back there. Anyone got any suggestions for places to stay in Bangkok or/and Pattaya close to the action spots that won't break the bank but ones that will allow me to take a sexy ladyboy (or 6 if I get the taste) back there.
