Ive noticed this a lot, I have spent a lot of time in the villages and its the older generation that are doing the work, its rare at the moment to see a young person working the fields. It wont bode to well for the rural communties

I think thats just looking for trouble BB, I think a blank expression would be coming my way. The bar is doing ok, its early days but it has far exceeded what I thought it would do, so I hope it continues. There is a long road ahead though.

Good post BB, and always good to know what scams are going on. We think that because we have been to Thailand many times that we wont fall for a scam but after a few beers its easy to be caught out, so these posts are always a good reminder.

Just a quick update. Apart from Paeng, Yok and Balloon we have a few new members. I apologise for the quality of the pics because they were taken with Paengs iphone. I left her with an expensive camera but she doesnt think she can use it First up is Nan, a new addition to the ladyboy fraternity, turned up for her first night tonight and was barfined not too long later. I think I will be calling her Bigtits. Next up is the new cashier Dada, this is Yoks real sister and shes very protective of her 555 An addition to the GG's is Give, she is an absolute darling. Everybody will recognise this girl, shes been spending a lot of time around the bar and looks like she has found a new home. Great story and thankfully you can look back on it as a winner, if you didnt have the contacts and great friends it could have been so different. Guys, Thank you so much for your support, I wont deny it, I will need it during the low seasons and I am grateful that you will pop in and see us. We have been open 3 nights now and things have been good, a lot of LB's turned up tonight, danced like crazy and generally had a good time, it was good to see and hopefully it will continue. Paeng has a lot of respect amongst the ladyboy clan and they have been very good in supporting her. Sorry for the lateness in coming but ive been up to my eyes in it trying to deal with the Thai way of dealing with legal issues, its like banging your head against a brick wall as im sure other bar owners could vouch for. Paeng has finally got her bar, its in Action Street on Soi Buakhao at the far end towards the market as if you were heading to Tuk Com. As you enter the complex there are a group of 5 beer bars facing you, we are the third one in. We had the Buddha blessing of the bar on the 7th, and we opened for business last night, the official opening will be on the 14th June (this Thursday), all are welcome. It is not a 100% ladyboy bar, it will be more like 70% GG and 30% ladyboy but I guess the bar will eventually morph into a higher rate of ladyboys, Paeng has been inundated with calls from ladyboys wishing to come and work for her. Action Street is a quiet part of town at the moment, this is mainly due to only being open for 6 months and its relatively unknown but we have bought here for the future, there are a lot of sois going to close down and the bars are being slowly pushed back, it may take a few years but eventually this area should be in a good position. There is a large plot of land behind the bars which has permission for Go Go's and clubs, the developers are apparently starting construction fairly soon, but TIT. Any questions please feel free to ask. I want to thank a few guys for all their help, DWBNO1 a silent partner and an excellent one at that. They are taking over as the dominant tourists, have you noticed how many shops now advertise in Russian first then English, that was never the case a couple of years ago. Even the Town hall wants to pander to them by knocking down beer bars to make way for hotels and condos. Too many sois are on the list for destruction including sois 6,7 and 8. Its understandable, they dont spend in the bars but have to pay for hotel and food services, which will take priority in the future.

I really enjoyed last night show, for me I think it was the best one yet, mainly because it had a good mixture of sadness and humour. I thought Annie and Paeng looked nice on camera and apart from Paeng burping so fekin loud it was all good 555 The responces coming through from Twitter were also a bit more favourable, I think ladyboys are growing on a lot of people and I hope it continues.

Regarding future episodes, next week focuses on Pattay 'the ladyboy capital of the world' as they are calling it. It first starts off with David, me and the girls watching the Acazar show, then it interviews the girls backstage. It also looks at walking street and picks up on a girl who works the streets, it tries to show what a vicious circle it can be ie selling your body so you can make that body more like a woman, apparently she not very hot and its a sad tale of life in p4p. David also does his walking street interview and also gives the background story about Pattaya. The next episode is about surgery, it shows the implant surgery, lazor surgery and of course the full operation. Two hospitals are in the show and they are both at opposite ends of the scale, one wealthy one for the poor. The final episode is about the girls doing it for themselves, it deals in the ladyboys that have business ventures, you will meet Sahara again who is in London trying to launch a pop career, it deals in the girls rights, pensions and discusses the obligation to pay their parents back for their upbringing. They also show Nok Yollada again who has just won a seat in the elections and studies her progress, and finally they discuss Annies and Paengs futures.

I think its great that the guys outside of the UK can get to see it without too much delay, I have a lot of friends from further afield and I am really happy that they can view it. The other episodes to come are very interesting.

Thanks Tony, Ive just found out that all the guys in the gym know about it 555, should be interesting over the next few days. Its always going to be a touchy subject and at times I have thought what the feck am I doing, but in the end the true friends will stand by me, anyone who doesnt is no loss to me. Thanks for you comments DT, a very nice post. Im not saying too much right now because you know how things go in Thailand but we have paid a deposit and the first months rent and hopefully will be kitting it out next week, its only a beer bar and its not the one in soi Diana that we originally were looking at. Once I get there and the wheels are in motion then I will post the name (undecided yet 555) and its location, its not going to be easy because its in a quite part of town but will hopefully be a busy part of town in the next year or so. It will be a mixed bar, it looks like there will be 7 farm fresh GGs coming down from Korat, also a few well known ladyboys to throw into the mix. Paeng has been inundated with ladyboy friends wanting to come and work at the bar, so we will see what transpires.

The first episode doubled the viewing figures, the second episode quadrupled the figures, last night they were up again and were even higher but I dont know the exact figures yet.
