Is it mostly Thai and mass produced beers or do they offer any craft or nicer imports?
28 minutes ago, Soju said:Not saying they don't but back in the day I don't recall any specialty beers. They have a Facebook page so they might have an alcohol list on there.

So I would encourage BMs who knew and liked Paultain to please step in and post
Well I nominated him but I didn't know him. I did like his posts on this and the other forum and he sounded quite a character. I haven't read his book which from what you say does sound somewhat dodgy. I might try to get a copy when I'm in Pattaya.

Looks like a nice place to take a date have a nice dinner and drinks and then go from there. Thanks for pointing it out........
I've taken a girl there the morning after for breakfast/brunch with nice views out to sea. She hadn't been there before and liked it. Can be hot in direct sun though.

It's not on kindle. As you are in Pattaya, it's probably available at Canterbury Tales Bookshop.

Lefty or Seven certainly would get it with this with this, the last clue.
Is that a clue? There was a song called Pancho and Lefty about Pancho Morales a Mexican bandit.
Edit: I posted this before I saw your post above. I don't know who John Wesley Harding is either.

back around 1967, Bob Dylan released a country album titled with the gunslingers name but slightly mis-spelt
I'll take a guess - Liberty Vallance? I don't know who he was or that album but I know there was a song 'the Man who shot Liberty Vallance'.

I can guarantee you that all ethnicities are welcome at Katoeys “R” Us. I’ve been there numerous time in the past few weeks and I have seen several Indians in there, having a great time. Everyone is welcome there.
Good to hear!
I'll definitely be going to KRUs.

No not KRUs, it was Windmill.

Then I suggest that when you visit KRU that you also visit the Windmill which is about 20 feet away.
I might give it a go. But a BM on the Pattaya Addicts forum, who is Indian, has posted that he was refused entry although being allowed in and having spent a lot in there on previous visits in 2016 and 2019.

Venus is known as the Evening Star as it is the brightest in the night sky. Also the first to be seen in the evening. Usually seen closest to the moon.

Obviously no astronomers or Greek speakers on here.
The answer is Sirius, also known as Alpha Canis Majoris or the Dog Star. 8.611 light years from Earth.

Not that I know. There are trillions of them out there so maybe one somewhere.

Venus is the brightest celestial body in the night sky apart from the moon, but it is a planet not a star.

Uranus is a planet, not a star.

I'll guess Alpha Centauri AB. They are close together, so they look like one star in the night sky. Also they are the closest stars to Earth. This right?
5 hours ago, Pdoggg said:That's what I was going to guess but had no idea about the A and B.
That is the closest star system to Earth, but not the brightest.
6 hours ago, Sylvester said:Tough one. I’ll guess the North Star, but I doubt that’s correct.
Not the North Star (Polaris).
A clue is that it is part of a big dog constellation, and it's Greek name means glowing or scorching.
