    I like to go with the “new to the Board” because that initial period is when a new BM shows his worth by capturing the attention of the other BMs with interesting posts.  In 2020 there were 3 or 4 such interesting new BMs at PY, but no point in giving them Romscars that they are never going to hear about under the strict gag rule there as regards anything Rom.  I am not even going to name them because my recognition might further delay them being advanced by their overseers who are either clueless or making them crawl a little longer.

    That means the 2020 newbie Romscar will go to a noteworthy LBR BM having joined over the last 12 months, and 2 names immediately pop up:  Kylemore and Papa Sam.  “The Trooper” versus “The Loose Cannon.”  Both made substantial and entertaining posts on our Board, but only one of them – Kylemore - made a TR which under Romscar criteria serves as a tiebreaker.  I wish Kylemore’s TR had been an LBR exclusive (he simultaneously posted it verbatim at PY) but a multi-Board TR has its merits too in terms of bringing both online communities closer by putting PY on par with LBR where less content is produced but some of it of a much higher quality PY can no longer aspire to :sword:.

    Soooooooo the Romscar for Newbie of 2020 goes to:  Kylemore.   Well done pal.  You are a newbie to LBR but not to ladyboys and your old school, blow-by-blow TR makes that very clear.  You are also not an online newbie having been a BM at PY since 2012 and being Advanced there, which is more than I was. Hope this Romscar motivates you to stay engaged with LBR and once in a while post here at the Romscars Club.

    And well done Papa Sam also.  You are a wild poster and you got my attention.

    Wooohooo!! 2020 started on a high with a great trip in Jan, took a decidedly sinister turn and is now ending on a high. Surely a sign of better days ahead. Thank you indeed @Rom

    This could have happened anywhere but...

    The first time I was in Asia was 2011 when I was sent to China with my job. I flew into Beijing from Dublin/Frankfurt and then was to get a connecting flight to Wuhan, where I based for the first week. All good, (plane was the Lufthansa A380) landed in Beijing and found my way easily to the gate for the Wuhan flight. It's my first time in China so all excited and wide eyed. I'm sitting there minding my own business waiting for the flight and I see the the girl that checked me in with what looked like two Policemen walking towards me. It seems like they're looking for someone. Then I get this sinking feeling...

    Yeah, she's pointing at me! Fuck! Over they come. She spoke only a little English. So, in pidgin English she says I was to go with two policemen.

    What! What did I do? This is not good. In China for the first time, just landed and getting arrested. The girl is mortified and just keeps saying Just go please... OK, so off all we all do. This is bad. Baaad.
    All sorts going through my head...show trials, westerner guilty of crimes against the party....First time in China remember. Jaysus. I'm just off the fucking plane and I know I haven't done anything so what the fuck am I being arrested for?
    The two lads say nothing. Not a word. We're walking for about 10 minutes. 10 minutes can be a long time! It looks like they're walking me back to the check in area, a good distance from the gate.
    Eventually get to the desk where I checked in and I'm really sweating now. They pull out my suitcase and bring me to the side. I'm trying to think what's in it. Couple of bottles of whiskey for my hosts but apart from that just normal stuff.
    So they put the suitcase down and one of the cops puts his ear to it and gestures for me to do the same. OK.... The fucking case is buzzing!! WTF!
    So, I opened it and it's my electric toothbrush! The button must have been pressed during the flight or something. Jesus Christ. Laughs all around. I'll never forget the relief! Fucking hell. Two cops look relieved as well. All buddies now. The check in girl was laughing her head off!
    Phew!

    A Bangkok hospital director has proposed flying in Covid-19 patients from abroad for treatment at his hospital.

    Dr Rienthong Nanna, director of Mongkutwattana Hospital, is considering medical flights to bring international Covid-19 cases to the hospital in an attempt to stimulate the economy.Each flight would carry 60 passengers and be adapted with disease prevention measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus outside the cabin, he said in a Facebook post.

    Under the proposal, Mongkutwattana Hospital will act as a state quarantine facility, caring for foreign patients until they are identified as “Covid-19 free” and able to start their visit as tourists in Thailand.The proposal has been supported by several clinics that treat international patients.

    Accommodation providers who want to collaborate with the hospital to prepare medical flights and state quarantine have been invited to contact the director of Mongkutwattana Hospital’s office.However, the Public Health Ministry has not yet announced whether Thailand will accept Covid-19 patients from overseas.

    Called into TJ's tonight. Not too many customers as yesterday was the night most guys were itching to go out.  Despite the big space, pre-Covid there were times that the bar was just too crowded especially on party nights. But now there's plenty of room to stretch out.  The girls were looking sexy, and a splendi time was had by all!
