HubbaBubba
I have a Mac and use several e-mail clients. I really do like the simplicity of Thunderbird. Is anyone else using it? What do you think? Quote Link to comment
Lefty
I am completely happy with gmail and have no desire to try another. One really cool extra is even from here in PI or in Thailand, I can call any phone number in the USA for free. Quote Link to comment
deepthroat
I'm still using Mac's native Mail program when at home; Gmail when on the road; and Outlook when I'm at the office. What are the advantages of Thunderbird? Quote Link to comment
HubbaBubba
Thunderbird isn't e-amil. It is a way to download and respond and interact with your e-mail accounts. For example, if you have several gmail accounts or an old AOL and old MSN and an old Hotmail account, you can set each up in Thunderbird and they will download your e-mail and you don't have jump on the net to respond to each account. It does the same thing that Mac Mail or MS Outlook does. From About.com: Mozilla Thunderbird is a fully featured, secure and very functional email client and RSS feed reader. It lets you handle mail efficiently and with style, and Mozilla Thunderbird filters away junk mail too. At the same time, Mozilla Thunderbird could be more helpful with showing related information, suggesting labels or folders, for example. Quote Link to comment
