Thai Medalist's Mom Rejoices by Becoming Nun It sounds like I'm being facetious, but I'm not -- this is a awesome story (in the modern vernacular sense of the word awesome). She had to add 4kg on her final lift and achieve a personal best to jump from sixth place to second. 4kg may not seem like much If you've never trained with free weights before, but when you're talking about max lifts and personal records, it's a big jump. And an interesting sidenote: she knocked a fellow Thai out of the bronze medal position to fourth place with her lift. 1 Quote Link to comment
