You have no knowledge of what happened when I visited Vietnam. I was not about to describe what did take place in full, suffice to say that the visit did not go as planned. Yes you did make a few posts about the scene there but with my limited intelligence and understanding of how the place worked it did not work out. In some ways it was for the better. Did not appear to be my type of scene.

If this forum goes down the plug hole just take a minute to reflect on some of your posts. I could say more but I would be the one punished. Funny, but that is how the world works!.

Driving today and this song came on as an extended play. Reminded me of my days in Thailand. 

Probably the most played song in the bars where there is live music played.

This version is as good as I have heard. Especially at 1.15 when the 12 string joins in.

I got a rude awakening yesterday.

I was friends with a lb some years ago and we chat quite often. She is one that gets herself in bad situations re money.

She inherited a house from her sister who was killed by her bf!!!!!. Shot her!.

A very nice house. She also had a car. a good one. She took out loans to finance her wedding business. This went bad and she fended off the bank for a long time.

When I spoke to her yesterday she was sitting at her mothers house which is next door to her house. I said why aren't you at your place?.

Told me that bank had taken it AND the car.

I was gob smacked!. It was as much her way of telling me as it was the fact that she did not have her house or car. She was not devastated, or did not seem to be. No tears etc..

I cant stop thinking about it. How she can go from having a house and car to now owning just her clothes.

She has a job making fishing nets. Works sort of 11 hour days and has 2 days off a month!. Go Thailand!.

I know this sort of thing goes on all the time where people lose everything. It just hit me like a bomb!

She is a great girl but just hopeless with money.

She did at one stage have some money but got caught up in a scam and lost it all.

I am gutted for her.

I don't want to pursue it now. Too long ago. I was thrown out when it seemed like there was a purge going on and I was one of the casualties. Stoolpusher was another. Hopefully we have all moved on from that era.

PG, this has stirred the memory cells a bit. Yes I was one who got cast adrift from PY along with some others I know of. The excuse given to me was that I tried to log on with incorrect detail. I did explain that my computer had crashed and when trying to log on, could not remember my password. I did send messages to the mods, but never got a reply. Not accepted. I was cast to the winds. Fuck off they said. Not the end of my world. I was on this forum anyway and enjoying it more.

On a visit to New Bar some time after that I questioned Petesie about the situation and was told it wasn't really his right to say why it happened and to leave it at that. Probably someone more riled up might have not left it there. Luckily for him!.

Anyway time passes and you move on. I have visited the bar a few times since, mostly to say hi to New ,who I find very friendly and welcoming. That episode does not bother me any more and surprisingly I got more than two words out of Petesie on my last visit in May. Maybe 10 words!.

As to the girls shown. I could spend time with Alice or Tan. Very acceptable!

Au contraire!  There was a time when I prided myself on doing it and bragged about it at PY, which is one of the reasons I never fraternized much with the bar owners and the cliquers who would not approve of my sneaky behavior.  It was not about the money as it did not save me any since I would offer the barfine amount upfront to the sissy (or GG).  This would  give both of us a sense of rebellious pleasure from which bonding and enhanced sex would ensue.

Now that I am older and wiser I consider the barfine a fair and a bargain convenience fee. On my last trip I made a point of paying it at Delirious even though my sissy pick told me she'd join me later.  You see bars like Delirious or Emmy that are keeping the barfines at 300 only in this day and age are doing so clearly in consideration of the customers and I feel now the right thing for me to do is to pay and not piss off the mindful bar owners by sneaking around them.

Only 2 of those that I know of. Stoolpusher is no longer with us,(as noted), and Bumblebee is hard at work back in his homeland. For the others,I could not say.

Made a couple of visits to Delirious. As good as ever with Herbert steering the ship. I must say Chaiyapoon seemed quite busy compared to other spots.
