    Talisha the mamasan

I know Talisha since the 1990s when she was a spinner at Casanova and briefly thought of revisiting that wonderful bulbous cock of hers

Talisha, she of the bulbous cock; a blast from the past!

I suspect Talisha was trying to be Theresa just as Wicky's are trying to be Vicky's.

    So now Mama Talisha.

Nice pics and good to know that 2000 baht long times are available in the Big Mango!

I've been humming this oldie since I woke up this morning... damn Ronnie was good!

    Nice one Soju!

Here's something a bit different.......sexy singer/dancer Kylie Cantrall who recently turned 18 doing a mashup of Rogers and Hammerstein's My Favorite Things (Sound of Music)with Tchaikovsky's March of the Toy Soldiers (Nutcracker Suite).  Clever music and choreography!

I wonder what will happen to the waiter ?  It stands to reason that if he is inclined to steal from customers, he will also steal from the house first chance he gets...  and if the cashiers were in on it then it's even worse... I doubt the waiter will get out of this unscathed.

Not about the Stones, but I suspect that there is plenty of stealing from absentee owners.  I suppose it's more difficult in venues with computerized bins.

Then when the drink came I had to pay for it 240 baht but had no smaller bills and had to break a 1000. Instinctively I had a bad feeling about it but handed the 1000 bill and, as I had feared, THE 760 BAHT CHANGE NEVER CAME.   As you can imagine this generates a crescendo of stress and frustration.

Who needs this shit on what's supposed to be a relaxing night out?   :girl_devil:

Don't think I've ever been to Stones and now doubt that I ever will.

So Baby Boom was located somewhere else before Soi 15?

Yes, in the location in the map above for about 5 years I reckon before moving to Soi Boomerang off Soi 15.

I accidentally popped in on the night Josh took over.  A mate and I went to Witherspoons to watch a football game but the game was delayed so I suggested that we go to a small GG gogo that I ad went to a few times.  Walked in, and all the girls looked like ladyboys. Went over to Josh and he told me it was the first night.  Prior to Baby Boom on that unnamed little soi, Josh operated a gogo near the Tuesday Friday Market called Paradise AGoGO.

The bar will be located just off Soi Buakhao, in the alley next to the "Rock Factory" (yellow circle in the attached map).

That would be either the location of the original Baby Boom or immediately adjacent.   Hope the finishing touches include mopping up long encrusted semen!    :shok:

Echo that @Pdoggg! Cindy's probably safest pick up place then, since by probably around 60% is Cambodian. On top of that some Lao girls so even finding a Thai lb there might be challenging sometimes

Agreed.  Although it's always possible to have a bad experience or altercation, I think it's less likely to happen with a girl who is working at a bar than a girl working on the street.

And if a girl must leave a passport at your hotel desk safer than (a perhaps phoney) Thai ID.

why would anyone use it when so many others with much less hassle.

    Good question Zeppie!

The fees seem high but I am thinking it's a nice backup in case of an emergency. Sometimes fees don't matter.

If I understand correctly, cash can be sent from one country and picked up in another country is less than an hour.  I just checked their website and I can pick up money in Angeles City about two minutes away from where I usually stay. So if for some reason I have difficulty with my credit cards and run out of a cash I can have a friend from the USA or Thailand send me money.

I'm not sure how else you can receive money if you don't have a bank account.

these days I'm more like the OP and just prefer to avoid the hassle of high pressure bars altogether.

    Agree 100%.

Part of a bargirl's job is getting ladydrinks but the best ones are able to get drinks without asking for it.

I know how to be firm. I know how to say no.  But when I'm out to relax I don't want to have to be firm to dissuade unwanted attention.

I avoid high pressure bars unless there is some otherwise compelling reason to go there.  So in Bangkok, I prefer CIB, Cindy's, Why Not, and Chaos 9.  If none of these places existed then I guess there would be a compelling reason to goto the Nana shitpits, a term popularized by Stogie Bear.

I certainly don't want to be hassled from the very second I walk into a bar unless that's my only option.

One technique that some ladies use in Pattaya gogos is to ask if it's OK if they sit next to me. This generally disarms me and I usually say yes unless it's someone that I have zero interest in.  I don't want uninvited attention. Occasionally the uninvited lady is the one I would have picked anyway so that's OK.  "Can sit next you" is much different than "buy me drink".
