Sawasdee khrap ... I am, as LadyMarsha called me, "Rom's talking shirt" and we arrived yesterday in Bangkok.  Rom is not well (major nasal congestion and digestive rumblings) so last night he was not quite himself.  Or should I say "his old self"?  Maybe he is changed for good.  Get this:  He went to the Nana-Sukhumvit area to exchange cash and popped into Check-In bar which was chock-full of gorgeous transes in leopard spot bikinis but he left alone after only 2 minutes.  Rom asked if they served food  (it says outside:  Check In RESTAURANT BAR).  They did not and then it hit Rom that besides hungry he was too tired to even buy a trans a beer.  And it hit him even stronger that perhaps he is now beyond barfining Thai fucks, same like the Pinays.  Like the TH sexpats who don't need or bother anymore, or just stopped caring about sex that much.  Or maybe because Rom can't get Mowgli out of his head (read previous post).   He just left Check-In without ordering the drink, went to a nearby restaurant, ate his first tom kha gai of 2023, made a phone call to a salon acquaintance, went back to the hotel to meet said acquaintance, and woke up this morning feeling much, much more upbeat.  Something about that BKK river that makes Rom come alive...
