Cebu is nice but depending on your interests, there are great places off the beaten path so to speak. I'm a scuba diving enthusiast so I use that as van excuse to do some LB searching when I go. Dumaguete is great as is Moalboal and Malapascua island. As you've discovered there is no shortage of LBs that want to meet western men. There is a ton of info about the PI LB on various forums so do your homework before you arrive.....you need to understand some of their culture to be able to weave in and out of their country. Catholic religion has done a huge injustice to this country in my opinion.
