Like the title says, I'd like to know if some little holes-in-the walls lb salons (Nuch Salon style) are still in action around Sukh or any other neighborhoods in BKK. I like those, so sue me !

Circa 2017, last time I stayed in BKK, the 2 lb massage salons that were active were Wii Massage on Sukh not far from Nana Station; and a little bit south on the same sidewalk, another place where the only sign of lb action was the talent on display. Other than that, it looked like a luggage place, and the action was upstairs. Wii was a total dump in more way than one, but the other place had some gems in it, both in service and presentation, and the accommodations were not bad for this type of place, including a nice large bathroom.

As this is my 1st trip to the PI, and my first venture into this kind of thing, was wondering what the deal was.

Have you tried Cialis before? If not, you may want to test it before leaving, because a high percentage of men (could be over 15%) get back pains and/or other muscular disruptions from it. I'd never heard of Nuch Salon before this thread, at least not by that name. As it turns out once I got there and saw it again I realised I'd walked past it many times in the past as I'd seen our type of girls standing there on previous visits. But never paid much more attention before because they were commonly less than desirable in terms of appearance. I have a hunch it's been there for years.

I visited Nuch Salon on Sukhumvit a couple of time at several weeks interval, and I think that it is an interesting place, with a friendly non-rush feel to it. Whoever runs the joint is doing a good job and understands customer service.

I walked many a times in front of the place during the years, but it’s only recently that I spotted the nice lb’s sitting outside (I guess my lb radar is getting fine-tuned); there are often 2 to 5 or so, and they usually look really good: they wouldn't be out of place at the NEP lb bars.

Armed with helpful and very accurate info provided via PM by Backdoor Specialist—especially on price-- I tried it out and although it’s not a perfect setup, they do try hard to provide quality service. For one girl, between a thousand and twelve hundred baht seems to clinch the deal. There is a 500 minimum massage fee included in the price, whatever you do there.

I never suggested either of them to Ken because I'm under the impression he is no longer really young, and may prefer an elevator. If he were to get the top floor at Two Guys, which is best to avoid the street noise when in the larger front facing rooms, then he would have quite a climb to reach his room. IMO the back, smaller rooms. are really tiny for any extended stay. I stayed in the 2nd floor front room there and there is only about one hour at night that the street noise is bearable. The late night noise subsided about 2-3am and the early morning noise began about 4-5am it seemed to me. The early lock up thing they do at Two Guys, I personally found a little annoying when returning after hours and had to fumble with the key to get in the main door. If they had a card lock, you could just swipe quickly it would have been nicer. A lot of the older gentlemen appreciate the elevator such as Yensabai Mansion A+B, and Yensabai Condo. I believe Mansion A+B has a card lock to swipe now for the outer door too.

When I go back to Pattaya, the #1 place to stay I'd consider near to Sunee is #1, Sanai Apt which is approximately above Po Pot Restaurant, and #2 would be Eldorado Guesthouse. Though that may be too much in the heart of the action for some folks.

For anything like a 6 month stay or longer, Yensabai A+B is really hard to beat for location, quality and price. Also, puts you just outside the action so if you want to avoid Sunee some nights, you can go out and about without the Sunee boys seeing you so easily, if that would be of importance.

For a 2 or 3 nights stay, what would you recommend in the area? I haven't been there yet and I'd like to bar-hop and explore the place. I prefer "Love Inns' type of no-tell-Motels but the closest I see to Sunee is Heaven's Land Resort and it appears to be a long walk from the main road and baht buses.

Any advice and tips are welcome,

I've never been there but I had the impression that there was no cover charge but all drinks were 250-300 baht.

As BB said above, in Sunee gogos beers are about 140 baht but boy drinks only 120 baht. Not sure about barfines.

But since Sunee is mainly expats and frequent visitors there is price resistance so Eros gogo has 99 baht drinks.

The beer bars in Sunee are quite inexpensive, at happy hour All of Me has 45 baht gin and tonics.

Boyztown is tourist dominated so prices are slightly higher.

All bars have cover charges as far as I could tell, and in some cases they're advertised outside. The touts make no bones about it either so it's not a sneaky setup. We had a drink outside too; it's a friendly interesting scene.

A gay friend who knows his way around soi Twilight in Bangkok recently gave me a little tour of the soi and we ended up in one of the bigger gogo places. The cover charges ranged from ~250 to 330 baht per person in the various bars, with a drink included.

Whether the bar we were in or the street, it's not a sissy-boy target rich environment, but they're prancing around here and there (I checked the place we were in against Hoochie-Coochie's recommendations and it wasn't on his list).

The problem that for me was apparent is that the cost of bar-hopping is about doubled under the above cover-charge system, since in the lb or gg bars the cost of entry is only the price of a drink.
