I only started the thread because someone mentioned the bar in another context and I thought that as I had a load of photos,( Tee sends me batches monthly) I would "put it on the map" - but this bar is not at all comparable to the aforementioned "main sources of LB talent" I can however post dozens of photos of the LBs who frequent the bar - and will so do.

VJ Internet Bar, Queenpark Plaza, 14/3 Sukhumvit Soi 22, Bangkok As I know a little about the bar, and a great deal about the owner, I thought I would start a thread and post some photos. The bar's name and location: VJ Internet Bar Queenpark Plaza 14/3 Sukhumvit Soi 22 Sukhumvit Road Klongtoei Bangkok 10110 The nearest BTM is Phomphong Station and Asoke Station. Telephone number 081 695 7173 The email address is: tsmoohwaan@gmail.com I have known the owner/manager, named Tee (aka Tiny) (an LB) for over six years and try and try to see her whenever I visit Bangkok (although not on the last two visits). I have written about her in various TRs. Tee/Tiny has a great sense of humour, is a real "Party Animal" but she also has a good business head on her shoulders. Tee is university educated, she did internet stuff to supplement her income for a number of years, and is a Wat Po trained Masseuse. She opened the bar about two and a half years ago and was running it, originally, as a relatively "straight" bar with a couple of GGs "available". She told me, by email, that the Red Shirt Demonstrations of 2010 really hurt her takings and that she intended to bring in some of her LB friends to try and bring in a new clientele. I never really understood this clump of poor quality bars at Queenpark Plaza. There are much better bars just a couple of Skytrain stations away and with so much more choice. Anyway is there ever a need to step away from Soi 4, NEP, the Guess Bar etc unless it is to visit KC3? For the avoidance of doubt, I am not promoting this bar - I just happened to see the place mentioned and remembered I had hundreds of photos that Tee had sent me over the years of Tee and of the girls (LBs) in the bar and thought I could draw Forum Members' attention to a small bar, where I found a lively atmosphere and a collection of LBs together with a Bar owner who seemed to be willing and able to introduce me to many LBs, and who, despite her advancing age, was a very good and enthusiatic (probably that should read "insatiable") performer herself. There are no short term rooms upstairs above the bar, but there are many ST Rooms around the area, within a couple of minutes walk. So to start with photos of the location and the bar:

When I was working in Alaska, Siberia, Vladivostok etc I used Dragoncastle and LadyboyKisses and set up dates in London and New York with Filipino LBs and those dates turned out OK. I met the Filipino Student I took to Phuket in 2007 on Dragoncastle and met a few LBs from LadyboyKisses in Bangkok in the afternoons of January 2011. If I was going to the Philippines, I would certainly use LadyboyKisses as a method of securing phone numbers – for Thailand I would not bother – the bar scene is the best developed in the world and, anyway, I now have enough phone numbers to reach out to call someone.

As Rxpharm said, Poverty plays a part of it. Equally, LBs in the Philippines refer to each other and themselves as being “Gay”; it is only after they have been with foreigners or chatted with friends that have been abroad, that they understand the difference between “Gay” and “Transsexual”. Every single Filipino LB whom I have met told me that 99.99% of Filipino men will only have a one-sided sexual relationship with them. This is where the Filipino guy expects the LB to give them a blow-job or might (occasionally) fuck them, but will never kiss them or touch the LB’s genitals. Thus, the Filipino/Filipina LB loves having sex with a foreigner who will reciprocate sexually. Interestingly, the majority of Filipinos see themselves as “yellow” and see Caucasian visitors as “white” and, to them, having sex with “a whit eman” is, in itself, an added thrill. I recall one Filipino LB, who had spent time working P4P in the UK, telling me before the last American Presidential Election that Obama could not win because “White is right” and a black man or anyone other than a white man could ever be President of the USA. In my experience (although I have enjoyed the company of many Filipinos LBs, I have not been to The Philippines since 1982) the Filipinos are better educated than the Thai LBs; usually have a good command of English and therefore conversation is easier; they are more appreciative of the sex – but, on the downside, tend to be more “clingy”, more demanding, and financially greedier than the Thais. Having said that I keep intending to take a protracted tour of the Philippines to sample the talent – and one of my daughters has been saying for many years that I need to go to the Philippines to find myself a Filipino LB who has been trained as a nurse and who will look after me as I deteriorate. The problem is that most Filipinos see us as ATM Machines and would be off once they were not getting attention and money.
