Went to Bob's BBQ on Soi LK Metro last night. BBQ sandwich.-----Good Cole slaw---------Good Natchos were Cold so obviously done by microwave. Drinks are two for one all the time. I would prefer if they just cut the price of drinks in half. They also have lunchtime specials for 99 baht. My verdict. I wn't object if a friend wants to go but won't initiate going there. I'm happy with 30 baht Thai food so a falang restaurants are splurges for special occasions and this joint doesn't excite me. YMMV.

Was a buddy's last night in town and he wanted to get one last quick pop so he headed to (of course) Soi 6. Wondering down the street we encountered a Christian revival meeting of sorts. There was a band set up right next to So What Bar playing Christian music and a crowd of about eight supporters, men and women, swaying to the music, one hand raised as to receive the Spirit. Now I'm wondering how did "they" know that Soi 6 is one of the most sinful streets on the planet? OTOH, gotta somewhat admire their courage, rather than preaching to the choir, they went to the belly of the beast probably at some phyusical risk to themselves.

My favorite bar on Soi 6 for sure! Headed towards the beach it's on the left side of the soi, quite aways down. There are enterances on both Soi 6 and Soi 6/1 but no sign on Soi 6/1. Ban Chang has a strip of bars that tend to cater to golfers in the the afternoon. Married golfers may feel a bit safer doing there mongering 45 kilometers from Pattaya. Since in all my years of reading ladyboy forums and newsgroups I've never seen a thread devoted to the ladyboys of Ban Chang, I figured it was incumbent upon me to do some research. If not mumble something about looking for your mates and walk out. This is not unreasonble since guys typically go for quick shortimes and often get separated form friends and you might really be looking for your mate so everyone can drive home. As of this writing the only bar with more than one ladyboy is Rabbit Bar with two, both working beind the bar. I was chatting with Odette, friendly and willing gave me info about the LB scene in Ban Chang. She said there were only about eight ladyboys working in the bars and all except one is behind the bar. Most customers are not looking for ladyboys especially in view of their golf mates. She did volunteer that she had a nice sized dick.
