Reckless abandon is fun.  Once place I can do so is at the Angeles City 7/11 where they have seating for over a hundred, music blaring out of the speakers, and none of those things called ladydrinks.  

But even if you're on a bar budget of 10,000 baht a month, you can still have fun by choosing your spots, with a combination of big nights, small nights, and stay at home nights.  Can't do reckless abandon on that budget of course rather it involves consciously choosing situations where the fun you have that night will be enhanced by buying a ladydrink.

On forums a common refrain goes something like "if you have to think about buying ladydrinks, you should just stay at home".   But I know lots of value for money guys. They tend to be guys who take longer trips.

Some guys enjoy bars while other guys view bars as just a means to end.  If you go to bars solely to get laid then Thai Friendly is the way to go.  It's free as long as you don't mind a restriction of one message every 10 minutes.  No barfine, no ladydrinks, no hangover and very often the same girls who work at the bars.  There is also Pina Love which works the same way in the Philippines where there are very few ladyboys who work in bars.

Here's JayZ's bar tab which he proudly posted on Twitter.  I've seen lots of similar pics on Thai Monger forums over the years, albeit at much smaller amounts.

Ya The Ruskies probably have the 2 best players in the tournament (Datsyuk and, Kovalchuk), but because of the stupid decision we don't have  guys like  have Crosby(still best player in the world  Imo)McDavid, Stamkos etc... on  our team so I think the Ruskies will win,  Norway is to skiing what  The Netherlands are  to long track speed skating, one trick ponies but they still have 13 medals all in just that one sport , that is  pretty impressive 

Probably not many fans on it on forum I'm guessing,  but it's a pretty big deal where I live so I am enjoying watching it when I can, just sucks that NHL players aren't allowed to play this year so  our team is a bunch of college guys or over the hill ex NHLers so chances of a repeat gold for us very slim this time, Norway is  a fucking powerhouse considering their  relatively small population

Back in November 2016, I flew Van - Bkk on China Eastern $560  rtn which is very, very cheap about half what I usually pay with Eva or China Airlines (both Taipei based), were they great?  obviously not,  but would I fly with them again if I got another deal like that? yes for sure,  in a heartbeat 

It would have to be about the last place I have any interest to visit in Asia regardless

have never  been to PP but  an alternative I have  been to many  times  is Fortune town, perhaps  a little smaller but not as pushy and you will definitely find whatever you need there, it is right outside the Rama 9 MRT stn so probably easier to get to as well
