Shame one of my old haunts is Up for Sale, have very happy memories of this place both upstairs and downstairs
Great News, I have just read from a very reliable source that the Chow Soy has been bought from former Scottish owner Dave by a fellow Scotsman named Richard.
Over the next 6 weeks there will be a major refurbishment of the restaurant, kitchen and upstairs accommodation.
He does not forsee major changes on the menu and he will be keeping on all of the current Staff.
The Chow Soy will be renamed, which is yet to be decided.

Think I will stick to the motorbike taxis then, at least I'll have my helmet as protection against the ear biters

I went to see The Stones last night in my Town, ok not the real Rolling Stones but a tribute band playing 'The Rolling Stones Story'
What I particularly liked was the big screen showing events of several era's and info on the songs they were singing, which I thought was a very clever idea and made it all the more interesting.
The Band itself I thought were excellent, particularly the girl singer who I thought was fantastic, she would not look out of place as a backing singer for the real Rolling Stones imho.
All in all a very enjoyable evening and would highly recommend going to see them.
Good to hear this song again, which unfortunately Mick and the crew can't play on Stage anymore.

Is Tim doing his own thing rather than be with Thaiger News?.
I could understand it if he is, as when combined with the guy on Thaiger news he was pushed the back a bit!.
Tim has left the Thaiger and started his own YouTube Channel named Tim Newton Today (TNT),
Well worth subscribing to imho,

Just back from watching the new Elvis film at the Cinema (for me 100 times better than watching on a TV), heard a lot of good reports on it so went to find out for myself, it was worth paying the £9.50 imho.
Also more enjoyable sat in a very comfortable armchair (with recline) with a pint of Camden Helles and a glass of Rioja.

With pics like this Herb and the fact that I will be staying on Soi Chayapoon on my next trip there is a good possibility that I might not be venturing too far away from this Soi
