Weds Night (30th Jan) Pond was on the doorstep at 8pm for shutters-up, and within minutes had her first ladydrink. It took the guy a full 5 minutes for him to decide on the barfine, and they left at 8.20 pm, just as Pat arrived. Pat loves an early barfine and i would have given several bellrings to have seen her face at having missed out! Well done Pond

Monday Night (28th Jan) Well i don't know where all the customers went, but they missed out last night as i think the entire crew turned in for work, along with Pond who's got bored at home looking after her "old" mum (aged 53 !). I've always had a soft spot for Pond. I took her 8 years ago out of Club 131 when she was just 18. I'll never forget the walk down 2nd Road in The Sewer, she towering over me at 6' 4" in her high heels and me trying to reach up to hold her hand at my statuesque 5' 7". Must have been quite a sight, and neither of us gave a shit. I don't think she can stay more than a month or so, as she feels guilty at leaving mum alone. So enjoy this great girl while you can.

A truly international mix last night with several aussies, the 2 hungarians, swedes, norwegians, germans and...a handful of Brits! C & Ds do a better job of promoting international harmony than the UN !

Friday Night (25th Jan) I was fearful we would have a quiet night, as it hammered down with thunder and lighning at 9pm, for an hour or so. But when i arrived at 10.30 the bar was already rocking, and just got wilder and wilder. its the first time for a long time that i thought about taking a taxi home. My vision was blurred - yes,yes i know it was irresponsible, but i did wear my helmet! My thanks to insearchofxxx for his contribution. But there were many non-BMs present, to produce the party atmoshere. When my friend Rob suggested we go down to soi Crocodile i was unable to accompany him as there were just too many folk wanting my attention. He came back after 45 minutes, saying that the action in C & Ds was far better. Happy Birthday Nut

Predictably, Nut got her marching orders from the "boyfriend". She's a real party animal and going to bed at 10.30pm isn't on for a LB - fer Chrissake they've only just had breakfast at that time! Can't say i blame him for giving her the shunt though - you can't just abandon your date to "go dancing". If he'd shown himself at all in the bar, he could have had some redress. Oh well, his holiday - "up to him".

Tuesday Night (21st Jan) I was amazed to see Nut in the bar when i arrived shortly before 10pm. She told me the "boyfriend" wanted to sleep, so she told him she was coming to the bar to do cabaret. She told me she likes being in the company of her "sisters", rather than sleeping. Quite what he'll make of her arriving back late - she was still in the bar as i left at 2.30am for an assignment - i really can't imagine! If it were me, her things would be in a pile outside the door!
