Being a Manc I liked the theme off the Ass with all the Hacienda memorabilia (Stones Roses, The Smiths, Joy Divisions, Oasis, Happy Mondays etc etc) and the yellow and black chevrons which was part of FAC51. 

A little sad I will not get to visit it now but with Nick having 3 bars already on Soi 7, and he had an offer he couldn't refuse to sell the Ass, he has chosen to move on. 

But I still have the choice of Scooters, The Marquee and Cafe Racer for the music so mustn't grumble, I can't really see myself getting out of Soi Buakhao area and Soi's of Beach Road in Pattaya tbh, so much choice to be had

Not quite , just 78 and still looking and sounding fabulous , was a privilege to see her at the Manchester Arena on June 14th, she's got great musicians and backing singers with her too. 

Choosing to go and see Diane instead of a month in Pattaya (June) was a great decision for me.

Even if I was in town Katoeys 'R' Us isn't my bag tbh mate, once when jolski (part owner) was very kindly offering people free drinks there for 1 hour (plus a lift from the Hideaway from where we were) I declined to go, I explained to him why and he fully understand wasn't at all offended, a real nice guy.

Thats why I pre-booked my seats, it may have cost me an extra £95 ( for the 4 legs),but I will have peace of mind that I will not be sat anywhere near those screaming twats.

I think myself and BigTel did end up on a A330-300 from DOH to BKK once, it was an old plane but was not that bad tbh, maybe it was because we were flying into BKK 

I've flown many times with Qatar Airways on A380's, 787,s, 777-300ER's and A350-900's and its been all good

Thinking about it again it could have been a A340 me and Tel were on (4 engines) , I know I have been on one of them with Qatar

We have both certainly got lucky by taking the chance and booking our Flights in February amogo 

As Qatar were quoting £881 for my November Flights (probably due to World Cup) I opted instead for Emirates and got it for a total of £614, this includes the £95 I paid extra for my Seat Selections on all 4 legs which gives me peace of mind, plus flying on the A380 again on the MAN-DXB-MAN legs will be a buzz. 

The same Flight and times with Emirates would now cost me  £1,036 so I am more than happy I too took the plunge in February

I heard about that the other day on a Thai Vloggers livestream, Dave from California said it was going to be announced yesterday
