The image upload issue is strange, I have a few ideas but I'll leave it your guys on the payroll. I got the error message image to finally upload.  Doesn't tell you much other than I'm not making it up.

In regards to the delayed response, I'm sure it won't mean much to you but it might to your developers.  I had fiddler (a software tool)  open when one incident happened tonight.  Seems the response is sent to your servers, but it took 65 secs before a response was returned.  I didn't see any error messages that I could forward on, just hung up waiting for the server to respond.   I'm sure your code monkey's will be able to get it sorted.

I can't seem to find a way to change my signature anymore.  Help Docs says it should be in My Settings, which I remember.  But the option doesn't seem to exist anymore. Maybe all this masturbation has finally taken my eyesight like mom told me it would, but I sure can't find a way to edit my forum signature anymore. 

I was also getting an error while writing this, telling me my image uploads failed. I tried it on a few other threads to test it out with the same result. After a few minutes, I can now upload the picture above - but the screen shot showing the upload error is again showing it failed.

A third issue that I thought I'd note as well is a delayed response from the website.  It is intermittent so I can't give you full details to replicate.  However what I experience is a delayed response when clicking a forum link and the expected page taking a long time to load.  It's enough of an annoyance at times to make me close the browser and not return to the forum for a bit.

I'm afraid your question BB is going to get a somewhat biased answer as we're a Thailand user group.  However I can speculate with the best of them.

I'm still not exactly sure when or how I became interested in TS girls, but when it had moved from a fantasy to something I had to try I started to evaluate my options.

Nah I don't.  All I have is inflamed rhetoric that means nothing.  They are just pixels on a screen.

It is a tragedy no doubt.  I just don't like the drum beats that want to bring my country's further involvement in the Ukraine crisis.  It's an eye opener for sure, I would not have guessed if I stepped on the plane that day it would have taken me over the center of that conflict.  I would like to see the bodies returned to their home countries so that they can be properly buried and mourned.

The 47 unaccounted for will prove to be interesting. Presumably out of the 47 there will be US citizens. This will give Obama pause and who knows what will transpire afterwards. He is taking a lot of heat presently for his hand-off policies concerning Syria, Iraq, and the Ukraine. If he does not show some muscle soon the likes of Raz-PUTIN and his ilk will keep inching forward. I have recently come to think Hillary has bigger balls.

The quote is perfectly in context, as the main thrust of the original post was that they wanted to practise religious persecution themselves, and the state was heading (albeit slowly) in the opposite direction re religious tolerance.  This tolerance began under James, as his own writings show.  That tolerance came to a stop some 30 years later, but that's a whole other story...

You made no mention of ONLY in your OP, what you said was that it was not true that they fled England to escape religious persecution, which is incorrect and that is the point I took issue with.  They did flee and headed to the Netherlands long before heading to the New World on the Mayflower. 

And if it was not the ONLY reason, the 'alternative' reason you posited was that they fled to persecute others, which I don't know what to say about that.  I guess I would say they were free to persecute themselves at that point in history.

Your quote of a King James Letter shows tolerance - to the catholics.  It is the don't ask, don't tell policy.   However, the Puritans - and the Separatist sects were Protestants, not Catholic.  And the quote you used is really not in context.

Lets not forget the Puritans came to rise under Elizabeth I, whose persecution of those not in line with the church is well document.  Those I mentioned who were executed for Separatism were under her rule as well as  the majority of those Sepratists had fled to the Netherlands by the late 1500s. They were the same who went to the new world via the Mayflower, coming out of those settelments in the Netherlands (via England).   The mass migration of the Puritans (non-sepratists) from England was under Charles I in the 1620's onward as the religious conflict once again got bad and a whole different set of circumstances emerged.

That is one odd interpretation of history..I guess facts don't matter. And portraying the Church of England in the 15-1600's as some sort of progressive movement is ludicrous, how exactly were they growing more tolerant?.

The Separatists broke from the Church of England, which was illegal as it was a state run religion. There were fines imposed for not attending COE run services and imprisonment for running your own services. Don't believe me?  Look up the 1558 Act of Uniformity. Two of the Separatist Church leaders were held in prison and executed. Is that your idea of more tolerant?  You were not free to practice your own religion in England at that time.  That is religious persecution, and  yes, that is why the Separatists fled from England to the Netherlands and eventually the new world.

Yes, we have a Puritanical history,  I don't like or agree with it and the follow on effects that it has had to this day...but don't make up your own history.

You didn't mention what you've already done to diagnose the issue. Did you check your wirless settings after the switch... is connected to the correct network - and didn't default to another?  Did you try turning wi-fi off, wait 20 or 30 seconds and switiching it back on?  Have you restarted the mac since the new network came on line?

If your wifi connection seems to look good, I'd try the Network Diagnostic Tools...see what it finds.  It should run the checks for you and try to fix the issues itself. 

Apple menu > System Preferences and click Network. Click Assist me, and then click Diagnostics

I've always referred to the CDC Website, lots of good info there.  My travel doc always prints it out and hands me a copy as well when I head in to get my boosters.  Tells what vaccinations are recommended, health warnings for Thailand, and and other helpful tips.

I went for the Hep A & B vaccinations due to the nature of our hobby.  Which reminds me, I'm due for a trip to the doc to get jabbed.

When I was a kid I grew up on the beach but I loved to Ski and wanted to do nothing more than cruise the slopes all winter long.  I got into my dream college and moved to the Rocky Mountains where I Skied my self rotten for 8 years (no, I was not in College for all 8 ) .  Of course getting two dreams so early in life spoiled me for the real world. 

As I got out of college I really wanted to live in Europe. London was my first dream. I didn't really know much about it except from books, television, and the stories my parents told. My father lived there for many years and had visited many different countries.  His stories were probably a large part of my interest and motivation.  I love history and being located where I could strike out and visit so many different countries and cultures really seemed like a dream to me.  I never did manage to get there.

Now days I live in a desert. I'm nowhere near a beach, a mountain, or history of any significance.  I don't really want to live here, but I no longer have a dream place I would like to live.  Kind of depressing when I think about it.

I keep seeing my trips to Thailand getting farther between visits as I go out and explore the rest of the globe. I'd still like to live abroad for a while, but if I can't I'd at least want to go experience it for bit. Hoot's solution is sound, except Flickr then owns your photos - and generally don't allow pornographic photos to be uploaded. What you need is your own sharing domain where you can upload your photos and decide to link them to forums if you desire. If the situation changes, you can simply move your photos around in the sharing domain, which breaks the link and the photos will disappear from the forum.

Not true at all, Flickr doesn't own your photos - below is an excerpt from Flickr's T&C's.

You can read full info about the license in the link I provided above.  But if you keep the photos private - they don't even get a license to use them.

Flickr is just one service I'm evaluating, and as I don't post porn, that part didn't matter to me , but I could see how it would not be a solution for others. They do allow nudes though, I still need to do more testing on the services and see if they could be embedded.

My ideas aren't meant to reflect badly on LBR , but since this is a post about protecting IP, I'm just illustrating that there are other options out there for people who are afraid about losing control of their own photo content. But you have to think about them ahead of time, nothing you can do once something unfortunate happens as Dixon's story shows.

RX is right. This has come up before & the outcome was if you willingly post to a public forum you lose any claim of ownership to what you posted. That applied to pictures as well.

That's not true for photos. Willingly posting them on a public forum does not automatically transfer your copyright on the material to the site owner.  (Edit: That's not to say it can't.  Each site has it's own Terms and Conditions, you need to make sure you know what you are signing up for. )

Imagine the scenario where you posted inside a section with limited viewing access to a trusted known audience. That section is then subsequently sealed off and people charged a fee to access that area because the content is considered to hold a value by the forum operators which people may be prepared to pay a fee to see....

I think that is a perfect example of why one would want to find other ways to share photos on public forums. I for one have been looking at just embedding images from a flickr account. I think it is a logical way to go for these and other types of scenarios.

Forum goes private. Delete the gallery on Flickr, all photos gone from the forum in one easy click.

Those moments of questioning myself come and go.  There have been some trips where it never crosses my mind.  Other times I've had that moment of hesitation, just like it was my first time all over again.  They are fleeting.

Overall I've found that liking ladyboys and this counter culture we are a part of has been a huge mind fuck for me.  What really gets me isn't the momentary question before I'm going down or other carnal pleasure, it's the sustainability of it all.  

It's funny, I've seen this thread and enjoyed the photos thinking I should check it out sometime.  Last night I was browsing around Flickr and came across this photo of Asiatique. I thought it looked really cool and as I had not seen it before I wanted to add it to the list of places to visit next time in Bangkok.  I looked into it a bit and low and behold it is the home of the Calypso Cabaret.  I finally put two and two together - I'm a little slow sometimes.
