  1. Som from the Crachkouse circa 2003; she would have been 19 or 20 here so they nailed it. Notice how they have both of these LB's marked as ladies, which is not surprising.

  2. Tragic Irony;

Uninsured drunk driver kills young mother of 4 in  a drunk-driving accident......the mother was an advocate of legalization who often claimed weed was safer than alcohol.  RIP

Denver marijuana activist and mother of four killed by drunk driver

''After spending years of her life trying to convince people that marijuana is safer than alcohol, activist Jennifer Friede was tragically killed by a drunk driver over the weekend.

The Denver medical examiner's office said Friede, 34, died while traveling on Interstate 25 early Saturday when a car going the wrong way smashed into the vehicle she and her boyfriend were riding in.''

  3. I'm not even a big DP guy, I was always into heavier stuff like Sabbath and Judas Priest and later Sepultura and Hatebreed, bands like that. But if we are talking pure Rock 'n' Roll I don't see how they can be left out of the hall while a band who did Dancing Queen or a rap band like Run DMC gets in.

  4. Well, I love ABBA, and I do not care what anyone else thinks about it or them. Agnetha Faltskog has one of the all time great female singing voices, and that is just plain fact.

Maybe,  but are they really considered a rock n roll band?

I'd say they were more pop.....is there a Pop hall of fame?   I'd even say they were more R&B than rock, since people like Britney Spears and Chistina Aguilara are considered R&B.

Hmmmm, Smoke on the Water or Waterloo?  I am thinking most rockers would go for the former.

  5. Trying not to take sides here Arch, but Seven's overall view of how *many* [not all] Conservatives feel is spot on.

That article in The Blaze about Bruce Jenner was a prime example, full of hate and condescension for someone they don't understand; so they call him freak and mentally ill and their readers eat it up and basically confirm what Seven was saying. Read Breitbart or FOX news online or any other far-right website and you will see the same hate and fear towards people who are different, gay, muslim, black, transgender, from Hollywood, etc.....as well as anyone who dares say anything against their beloved guns.

At least you have the courage to take a stand for your side; I wish there were more conservatives around here who would speak up, having an echo chamber of all liberals is frankly too easy.

  6. But hey the US of A has WAAAAAAAAAAAY too many people locked up, dont we???

Blame that on the antiquated - and failed - "war on drugs."

This country has 25% of the world's prisoners but only 5% of the world's population. And the vast majority of them are in there for posession or distribution of drugs, or crimes directly related to getting money to BUY said drugs.

As for guns in America, that is the third rail for anyone running for elected office and won't be discussed at all - unless they really want to lose.  'Mericans love their stupid fucking guns, I don't and never will own one so I have no idea why. Same with defense, another subject no potential elected politician can touch; we spend more than the next 15 counties  COMBINED  and could use for a massive scaleback - including scrapping the whole F35 aircraft program and keeping the A-10 Warthog - but if someone ran for office and actually SAID that? Denounced as a pussy and weak on defense and would never stand a chance.

Remember when buffoons like Donald Trump were saying "stop the flights" when Ebola was en vogue? Hell, Aaron Hernandez has killed more people in America than Ebloa has.  But "stop the guns"?  Naaaaaa.... :(

  7. So anyway, this is going on in Baltimore right now; I was there just last week visiting Coco and Kilome, Coco lives less than 5 miles from where all this is happening.

Kilome is going to have some wild stories to take back to Pattaya with him!

  8. There was no thread about the Bruce Jenner announcment, so I will put this here.

Found it on my newsfeed today, from Glenn Beck's awesome and open-minded website called The Blaze.

This is how loving, caring Christians truly feel about our Ladyboy friends. Way cool.

Bruce Jenner Is Not A Woman. He Is A Sick And Delusional Man.

''On Friday night, a mentally ill crossdresser named Bruce Jenner was interviewed for 2 hours during prime time.....''

  9. 100 a month is a serious bargain!

When I used to go get my Thailand visa from the consulate in Boston it would cost me 32 bucks to park nearby; for the first hour!

Tack on 6 bucks an hour after that; for one day in the tourist section of Boston it could easily cost 75 or 80 bucks.  I know the long-term people get a deal on parking but I'm sure it's still ridiculous.

  10. NY and Boston are very walkable cities, but IMO it would be hard to live *anywhere* without a vehicle, for those times when you want to go on a road trip or to see the countryside or the ocean.  I suppose you could rent a car but it's just not the same.

People in California would never even consider not owning one.
