Not exactly a box office hit here, but I will carry on with a quick one on sois 6, 7, and 8 which in a word: LADYBOYLESS!

Soi 6 continues to marvel me everytime I go there.  100s of women lining it up...and many of those women in their 20s and very attractive... they must be paid well as surely many will go days without a customer given the abundance of competition.  I wish I was 20 myself with the financial means I have now to just avail of myself of 3 or 4 in a row, but helas! age has taken its libido toll...  As regards sissies I saw ZERO in soi 6 and the parallel back soi. Prior trips I had seen 2 or 3... Have they been forcefully eradicated?  What a contrast with years past...

Sois 7 and 8 still have plenty of GG beer bar action but there are way too many empty bar slots not to think it's going the way of other defunct beach road perpendiculars.  I did not spot any ladyboy mixed in with the GGs...

I havent been to Naklua or any of the lower number sois... is there any point in going there for the ladyboys?

My stay here in Patts has been fun but encumbered by the cancelation of my return flight (via Abu Dhabi) and no alternative so far proposed by the airline.  Thai Airways and European airlines flights out of BKK are currently very expensive but I managed to find one via Seoul that will cost me only 500-800 depending how much I get back for the unused return.  Could be worse places to be stuck than Pattaya, but I'd rather go back.

Not sure how many punters will even read this, but having listed the soi Chaiapoom bars (more on them later) here is an update on the BARS of soi BUAKHAO:

Bon Bar - last year's Bar of the Year winner on an  outstanding lineup spearheaded by the gorgeous Fang and a wild party atmosphere, this year it's a shadow of its former self. None of last year's sissies is there and I counted no more than 5 scruffy ones the times I went or passed there.  I remain pals with Ta the owner who is caught up in all sorts of litigation with her ex who seed-financed the joint.

Pook/Coyote -  I passed there several times and saw 1 or 2 ladyboys, but then the other night (later at night) there were like 10, including one of my Pattaya divas Annie who did not even say Hi to me.  It's possible it's being staffed on a freelance basis a trend observable in several of the bars which means the sissies come and go when they like.

Cindy's Secret - Another diva who did not stop playing pool to come say Hi to me was Ly Ly, who is no longer the Queen Bee.  She looks a bit worn  and outfoxed by another skinny tall sissy with Targaryen blonde hair... Forgot the name sorry, I bought her a drink but did not have the heart to go upstaurs with her.  Other than Ly Ly, all the other Cambodjans I remember are gone, as well as Dao who soured on me ever since she left TJs.  It's still a fun place to hang out, but not as spectacular as the first couple of years.  I don't know if I should pursue Ly Ly.  There is a chance she did not recognize me as I've changed my looks considerably and even one of the farang bar owners said he did not recognize me.

Old n 7 -  Has a "For Rent" sign.  A few ladyboys around but too few and too bland I did not bother stopping.

Fantasy Lounge - Had a bunch of Laos sissies last year. Now all Thai one of them said.  It's holding it's ground.

Piss Stop - the bar right next door to Fantasy Lounge in now an all-sissy bar.  It made it hard to gauge the respective talent as their sissies mixed right in front with FL's.

Paradise complex down the road used to be one of my best kept secret spots to hook up with low mileage sissies, but the place is now completely sissyless and practically deserted with most bar slots unassigned.

New Bar seems to be doing OK with the freelance system for the sissies.  I picked the very tall one there, but there arent many to chose from.  In fact more farangs than sissies which I think can be credited to Petesie's popularity.

Sensations  I thought was making a comeback (according to Paeng) but the times I passed outside  it was dark and empty.  That whole Action Plaza is.  Whatever happened to Scott?

Katoeys "Are" US with cute ladyboys dancing in bikinis and with the femboys topless is the best place to go have a beer and gawk.  Fang still works there when she wants. Like Cindy's Ly Ly, TJ's Lily and Annie she Fang ignored me.   Maybe they resent having given me such good times on the cheap with pictures included... Not my fault I am such sexyman sanook ...

Peachy Lily the place is tiny and tends to be packed being the only (?) ladyboy bar on soi LK.  It's fun and Lily still provides a reason to go there and look.  Again, all the Cambodjans I knew and fucked there were gone.

Back Room - It's a new bar in the dark alley connecting Chayapoom to Cindy's.  I had read about it here and saw like 10 ladyboys outside all old and scary, not my cup a tea.

Warm Up/ Hideaway - Passed there couple times.  Did not stop.  Few sissies.  Again older and disfigured by Botox.

Bradley's Club (?).  Had read about it here in the Board and my impression was I wasnt missing anything.  Honestly havent stumbled upon it, so wonder where it is?

Hope this helps.  Only 2 of these bars are Bar of the Year contenders.  Guess which?

Some background to this year's Romscar award for the 2025 Bar of the Year:   Our Board having lost a BM's thorough coverage of the BKK bars and taking into account that I only went there once during 2025, the Bar of the Year Award is at the outset biased towards Pattaya and I can reveal that it will be awarded locally.

I can also reveal that I have been here in Pattaya over a week and have pretty much made up my mind up as to the winner.  Again, my pick is not as thorougly weighed as in previous years.  With the emergence and concentration of the ladyboy bars in Soi Chaiapoom I have not been to other sois of Pattaya as often as I used to.  I also don't peek as much at the other Board as I used to, which was a good source of information on bars I havent visited.

I would start by pointing out that last year there were 4 all-ladyboy bars on Chayapoom:  Delirious, Duangjai, Jie Jie, and New69 (a relocated newcomer during 2025).  Now I count at least 11  (those 4 + Eagles Nest, A May Zing, Lips Club, The Meena, La French, Chilli Girls, The Wet Spot).  Moreover several of the other bars are now coed plus there are 3 or 4 massage joints with ladyboys on duty.  The remaining GG bars are either staffed by old frumpy ladies or are charging barfines double the ladyboys'.

My take is that the ladyboy situation in Pattaya has been boosted by the concentration in Chayapoom, although I cant say there are more sissies overall than there were 10-15 years ago when the bars were scattered all over Pattaya.  Asking rates are higher though and barfines are a resonable 500, but only after midnight.  In the posher GG gogos barfines are now 1500+ and my guess is that sex with a spinner may well be more expensive than in Europe.

Here are some pics of the new Chaiapoom all-ladyboy bars.  Their staff count ranges from 3 or 4 to 20+ (only in Delirious).  I will give some bar-specific details later.

As regards the bad sissy he was not seen again the whole week that followed.  I don't know if it had to do with John Lennon's threat of coming to town to beat him up.  Likely the police told him that night not to show his face in Angeles for a while.  In any event that sissy's prospects of further local business were significantly curtailed by the fact that hotels share this kind of information and he will not be allowed in several of them and word also gets around among the mongers.

Last night was Saturday night when greater activity was evident both in terms of the numbers of punters and of bargirls.   The latter are all past their primes but at least the go-go stages are not deserted as I saw several were during the weeknights... Dont ask me the current barfine rates but last time I asked it was 3K+ (sex included) depending on the bar and the lady...

In contrast, the ladyboy availability last night was worse than i had reported  for the weekdays.  I saw but 5 or 6, not counting the 4 I had in tandem to several of the Phillies watchers regret.

Last night was my first in AC.  It was a Monday, which is not a great day to make dire judgment as like half of the go-go bars now close on Mondays, which is in itself a tell tale sign of dwindling times unthinkable as recently as 10 years ago when shifts would be in place to keep bars opened and staffed, some round the clock.  And if you are not convinced by this setback, just walk by the many shuttered bars and hotels with FOR RENT/SALE signs.  Every return-to-AC trip I make  another landmark or 2 from my early mongering days is padlocked.

I peeked into 3 or 4 of the open GG bars and the scenes were desolate: 2 or 3 girls on stage, virtually no customers, which I guess go hand-in-hand,  Did not peek long enough to evaluate the attractiveness of those 2 or 3 girls, but a hot one would have caught my eye and that was not the case.

I did see gorgeous, young looking pinays while seeping my first margaritas at Kokomo's, but they were all perched in the arms of Koreans. I dont know if some of those girls work in select bars, but if they do at 8 PM they are out.  I suspect there is some kind of upscale referral network for young prosti-minded chics to be chanelled to the Korean arrivals.  Us honkies get their leftovers.

My first impression on the LADYBOY SITUATION is more upbeat in that I saw like 20 differents one cruising (and I mean cruising, because they are not standing still) in front of Phillies.  They are not allowed into Walking Street but the police are not rounding them up and in fact 2 agents I saw seemed to be chatting with several of them.  One of those agents came over to check on a sissy I was with at the Phillies window and I thought he was a street vendor trying to sell me his tazer stick so I grabbed it and tried to turn it on.  Profound apologies followed, but I cant believe that he let me grab the tazer stick...

Thanks boss.  I'm flattered someone would want to expand the Romscar brand of excellence to more fields other than the sissy industry.   I had been thinking of something like that myself namely a Rombel Peace Prize for World Leaders which I would award to Joe Biden just to snub Trump. The rationale would be posthumous recognition that Biden for the 4 years he was president had saved the world from wars and mayhem Trump would have started.

Regarding the choice of a "Romscar Song of the Year" the 2 nominated above are strong contenders from a global hits perspective, but I think a Romscar Song of the Year should have something to do with ladyboys.  Not necessarily about them, or sung by them but a song ladyboys relish and  can identify with and enjoy.  The one such song in 2025 I can think of is Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" which as soon as it played in the PH clubs I partied at would instantly get my posse of sissies all on the dance floor dancing exuberantly and joyfully.  I witnessed it was popular in TH clubs as well and Tha played it at Bon Bar.   In addition, or for the same reason as the sissies dig it, "Abracadabra" was arguably 2025's #1 hit in the wider pop song realm.

Usually these kind of altercations end with the Thai bouncers outnumbering and beating up the tourist into a pulp.  Not this time.  Hope they catch the chinese and extort every last penny from him/them.

But I think it's safe to conclude from the posts so far that Peachy Lily is a contender along with my frontrunner (here we go PG!) which is KRUs that has the best line up and the poshest space and remains the only ladyboy go-go in Pattaya worthy of the go-go attribution with multiple ladyboys on stage.  Both Peachy and KRUs are co-owned and managed by Ian who used to be an active BM and who, on a personal note, always treated me nice even when I was being crucified at PY by his treacherous sycophants.  So Ian may be getting the Romscar subject to me revisiting both his bars and confirming the grounds for bar of the year choice. 

Now... a couple of wild cards remain I have not visited: this Bradley club  (Bradley? wtf is Bradley?) and the infamous Ladyboy Mansion that I heard made a comeback or maybe someone else is using that name.  Is it true?  So please anyone who knows about these 2 establishments please share.

Sorry Herberth/Delirious your bar remains the top notch gathering spot, well-staffed with empathic lower prices but has won Romscar Bar of the Year already, which raises standards for repeating as I favor newcomers that bring something new and exciting to the scene.  It might have helped if Herberth had kept posting here instead of caving in to the PY pressure not to (which other bar owners also succumbed to...). Sorry Cindy/Secrets! Sorry Tha/Bon Bar!  Your bars won the last 2 years but, for reasons I understand, had setbacks in 2025.

Sorry also to the BKK bars, namely CIB which has been consistently the best-staffed, most fun bar in TH but is pricing itself out of budget mongering territory.

One disturbing trend that is spreading both in TH and PH is the dual ST/LT barfine quotes... I remember when I started mongering there were no STs unless we had no time for the hoes ...  I am so old that I remember 200 baht barfines in the Pattaya beer bars and 700 pesos LT barfine with sex included in the PH go-gos....

One of the criteria for awarding the Bar of the Year is PRICES of drinks and barfines, which have been going up both in BKK and Patts since tourism fully recovered from COVID.  We are now seeing 1000 baht barfines in Pattaya (KRus! at least that's what they asked me. Confirm anyone?) and even Delirious had raised their anytime barfine to 600 b and discontinued the after-midnight 300 baht discounted (confirm???).  How much is it at Peachy Lily?   Last time I took Cambodjans from there (at CS Lily's insistence for group sex and with Peach Lily's blessing) it could not have been more than 600, which is (or used to be?) my red line also for BKK.  But I already got used to paying 1000 b for a Treetown GG I am very fond of and I think I will soon be paying that much for the sissies...  Likewise for beers that are edging close to 100 in the lower price bars...  Not to mention the lady drinks that are skyrocketing everywhere...

Can anyone please share their recent experiences with barfine PRICES?  Likewise for drinks...

Especially BKK CS, CIB, CIB11 and the Nana bars... anything still under 1000?  over 1000?????????

Contrary to you I prefer Pattaya more and more over BKK because of rising prices (for sissies, booze and the panoramic riverfront hotels where I prefer to stay) and growing number of greedy taxi drivers who refuse metering and destinations.  The times I stayed there in 2025 I brought along a Pattaya sissy or GG which limited my BKK butterfying and barfining.  Still I managed to assess (like you!) that Cindy's BKK and CIB lost ground and (unlike you!) Why Not also... I never visited CIB 11 !!! and I like the part you report about freelancers.  I remember another posh bar on soi 11 --Lusty Ladies-- that had come and go ladyboys.   Did it become CIB11?

As regards Pattaya you have not been there but we are very much in agreement as regards KRU.   Peachy Lily is a strong contender too and every year since it opened it fell just short of the Romscar.

I hope a few more BMs share their views like Dan just did and I assure you I can be nudged in favor of a bar hailed by LBR BMs (but not Emmy's please!).

For my part I booked my trip yesterday and will be in TH early March and will do one last round of the Pattaya bars before I give the award.

Does anyone have anything to say on the New 69 bar?  Last time I was in Pattaya it had just relocated, was well staffed (compared to the Myth Night Plaza ladyboyless version) and threw a party every week.

PG please....  I think my vagueness about Jie Jie is sufficiently indicative of my misgivings and warnings about the place which would be against Board rules to discuss.  Especially since they are based on personal impressions, not documented facts. Let's leave it at that.

The other bar is my preferred choice so far and likely will be the winner (unless the Bradley joint is some sort of revelation) but I deliberately did not say the name to see if other BMs nominate it or flag shortcomings of which it has a major one.  In due time I will name it and share my take wether it wins or is runner up.

I might just add that there is always Delirious that as far as I can tell remains the most frequented gathering spot for the sissy sexpats and there is the New 69 bar that rebooted in Chayapoom and seemed to be making a comeback from the fiasco that followed the Myth Night Plaza reboot...

I promise to do one last round of on the spot due diligence when I go back to Pattaya before awarding the Romscar.

Bon Bar my pick last year has had setbacks due inter alia to litigation and as much as I like the owner and would like to boost morale she is going to be disappointed.

In the case of Jie Jie I would have awarded it last year but there's a snag I'd rather not discuss here.  All I can say is if you shop there: tread carefully...  Peachy Lily appears to have become more popular, but there is another relocated bar by the same entrepreneur that is posher with more staff, including one that rivals Lily's beauty at her apex... if you been there you know which bar and which sissy I am talking about, so please opine...  if you have not, stay tuned.

Awarding the Romscar Ladyboy Bar of the Year is a laborious and rigorous endeavor which can make or break the contemplated or ignored bars and drive the respective farang owners to elation or desperation.  That's why I try to be as best informed as possible and listen to all my sissy-chasing peers in making the decision, which is perhaps a task too formidable for a single man to undertake but which I've accepted with honour and humility in view of the general recognition and trust our mongers community has bestowed upon me based on my experience, fairness and wisdom and inclination to share them.
