Valentines Day is not the ideal day for a lonely trail!

well yes, especially for a cowpoke who had to leave his hoss behind, we all know how much cowboys love their hoss's.

But, don't worry folks, Emmy, Quinn and myself have agreed to take care of it.

coincidentally on a different subject , should anyone fancy a nice juicy fresh burger in Emmy's bar and restaurant in 2-3 days time. Pop Along.

  2. Well… today is the day. The cowpoke hits the lonely trail back to the bunkhouse.

The highlights of his mosey to Jomtien for me was his excellent masks, and, of course his meeting with fellow doom and gloomer P.D.  Long will that meeting of minds remain in my memory [unfortunately…]

It was wonderful.  P.D sat down opposite the Poke and me. At first of course he didn’t recognize QG who was desperately trying to drink beer through the escape hatch in his favourite mask.

Suddenly PD recognized him, I don’t know how… but he did.

PD…. . “ Cowpoke , how are you? Good to see you Pard! That’s a great mask you are wearing”

    QG… . “ Snargle, gluggle, sitchachy a- sniggle blub”

    PD…. . Great! It’s Designer?”

QG..  yook dack ma fanny sniggle bloggle yursh”

    PD…  Really, it’s N95?

QG…  dook ma dack, Teya, boom boom  clack ma doo-doo”

PD… “Wow! No French kissing now QG… You do know about Covid don’t you?”

    QG…  “shtatishtics! “

    And lots more similar stuff!

Unfortunately , and this could only happen to QG, 3 days before being due to fly home he caught a cold…  sniffle, cough, sore throat, etc etc. But we all know QG…. no mass panic!.. Honestly!

But recovering now with the help of every pill available in Thailand…

So It just remains to say… Purty good to be a-seein’ you again Cowpoke . Have a safe journey home. See ya agin down the road a while.

Even bbg says he will give it a go!

wrong Cowpoke! i have no intention of ever stopping smoking. was considering one of those smoking machine things simply for use at home to save money,

not to help stop smoking. Did buy one as you know. way too complicated! much easier to pull a ciggy out of a packet....

Despite my best intentions of avoiding close encounters, bbg kept telling me covid is no big deal and I succumbed last night. If I get covid I will blame bbg!

you deaf ol' cowpoke! we were talking about seafood.. i said 'they're ain't any Squid in Pattaya, not covid!

obviously Covid is all over the town, ya can tell by the 100s of 1000s of bodies foaming in the heat...

anyway, don't you be a-worrying about that sort of thang.. i'm more concerned about Teya's future career now......

There is a now a 14% positivity rate in Thailand and by the end of next week new cases should reach record levels.

well at least that's better than the  previous... 'in 3 months [or whatever] all of us in Thailand will know someone who has died'

  6. Christ on a bike!

Our forefathers who fought in two world wars for years... if they could read  all this covid nonsense would be wondering why the hell they bothered fighting.

True, but she was a great little dancer in the cabaret, shaking her ass enthusiastically and with apparent huge enjoyment.

Oh dear QG! are we talking about that  Kimmy? If we are i do hope that she's okay now... It must have taken her quite some time to recover from the ride to Jomtien sitting on a certain cowpoke's lap in the front seat of Emmy's car.. True, it was going okay until the anonymous aforementioned cowpoke decided that he wanted to play Rodeo's by becoming a Bucking Bronco.

Actually never mind Kimmy, i'm wondering if any of us in the car ever truly recovered.

So now you believe John Hopkins University, experts, and statistics?

i don't believe the statistics which Johns Hopkins collated can be accurate, simply because they were collating figures sent to them from some very dodgy sources. Collating is all JH were doing... not verifying accuracy. There was no expertise needed.

There you go. Finally! Thanks, QG. Hope you are having nice (safe) holiday!

    Historys verdict will be brutal

indeed it will Seven. But, will humanity learn from this madness? i doubt it.  Will the doctors in England, the ones who have refused to see patients face to face during Covid actually learn anything? No, they will never accept being at fault. Doctors can't be.

    They are untouchable.

Just wait for the next cold virus to come....

  12. What an insane world! or this part of it anyway. Time for me to live in my own little bubble. You lockdown mob can have the world you want.

This morning i went to an ATM, the money came out but the card didn't.. got stuck.

went to my bank to get another card and report it.  Couldn't get in the door until i wrote my phone number on a list outside. Didn't do it. A little jobswoth dressed like Hermann Goering came running out.. "phone" phone".. me 'no' no'.

He wouldn't let me in until i explained 'i don't have a phone'

Oh boy! whoa whoa! major consultations between Hermann and someone in the bank. Got let in eventually. Got my ticket.

waited 40 minutes, 3 people came in after me and got seen before me.

finally got to see the person behind the counter, a counter with a 4 ft. screen of 10mm plastic between us. So, we have this screen, she is wearing a mask and sitting as far back behind the screen as she could. After about 30 seconds i realised i couldn't hear a word she was mumbling. I stood up and moseyed out the door.

    i'll use my other account.

You are a patient man. I'd be at the counter at Jomtien Hospital fuming. Unmasked.

QG?... Unmasked? more chance of LIly becoming a Nun.

i'm still marveling at his masks, they are works of art. We had the Concorde one, and the Submarine Conning tower one complete with escape hatch.

The last i saw, i'm sure must have been soaked in bleach and/or hydrochloric acid for 3 days. I have never seen anything so bright white. Honestly when the sun hit it it was like those searchlights you seen in the WW2 movies.

  14. the difference between you and me QG is that i don't care what people do... i let them live their lives and have no wish to live it for them. If some LBs smoke why don't you just keep away from them? instead of insisting they live your way?

    typical health fascist..
