This will be the first time I'll be taking a bus from Pasay to Angeles City. I have a few questions. It would be much appreciated if you can help with any of them. I will be arriving at Terminal 2 of the Manila airport around 11PM with my ultimate destination being an Angeles City hotel. My plan is to take a taxi to the Victory Liner Bus in Pasay and get of at Dau in Angeles and then a trike to my hotel. I'll have two pieces of checked luggage and a carryon. http://www.victoryliner.com So researching online I see coupon taxis, yellow taxis and other options. Which is best? How tough is it to get the driver to turn on the meter? How much should the taxi cost. I'll be at Pasay about midnight and have read that many opportunists hang around there so I would like to know as much as as possible in advance so I'm not wandering around like a bewildered mark. It seems that there are many busses with different ultimate destinations that stop at Dau. Any suggestions as to how to find the right bus? Once dropped at Dau, how do I find the trikes and how much should I pay to take me to a Fields area hotel?. I prefer not dealing with guys who accost you the moment you get off the bus.
