  1. A couple of weeks in Pattaya is the best place I have ever found to lose weight. Walking everywhere, shagging every day, good Thai food, it just falls off.

I switch to two meals a day while there & never feel hungry. And a few pats on the guts from a pretty girl always hardens my resolve.

Late night kebabs & too much beer will set you back but you can still lose all the weight you want providing you only do it occasionally.

On the other hand, no will power to avoid fast food & alcohol & you know what will happen. Weight gain instead of weight loss. Mai pen rai.

  2. Well done Tiger for postng the first new babe I have seen on any forum for a long time. Got looks lovely & I expect there will be a queue of guys interested in making her acquaintance.

Make sure they buy a few drinks before barfining her. And I hope she's not too new to Pattaya that she wants to quit after her first three STs. Got is about to get an education that money can't buy.

  3. If I'd have been standing where that photographer was, I'd have took that punk down.

I think anyone would do something to try & stop an idiot like this guy. I am not as big as Khun Lefty but grabbing his backpack & pulling him over backwards wouldn't be too diificult. Easy to sound tough when I am not there but faced with such lunacy, I don't know how I would react.

The sheer audacity of anyone committing a crime like this makes my blood boil. It isn't just a matter of how dangerous this is nor the fact that he is willfully prepared to destroy a police car, it is the total lack of respect for society, the very society that provides the police to control such brainless twits.

I would love to see the pictures immediately following this one, surely someone yelled out to alert the police? Or were all the upset hockey fans willing to go along as pathetic accomplices to a major crime? And the photographer? Was the picture worth more than doing his civic duty?

As I wrote in the byline.... QUITE UNBELIEVABLE!!

  4. I love this picture. Here's a man who should serve a long time in jail.

What is in the water in Vancouver that makes a person think that this is acceptable? I mean, he doesn't even pretend to hide with a camera focused on him FFS! He carries on like this is normal behaviour. I wonder how his lawyer intends to defend this?

"Well your honour, doesn't the freedom implied by living in a democracy allow me the right to blow up a police car & endanger the lives of everyone in proximity? Mummy & Daddy always told me I can do anything I wanted. What do you mean 5 years in prison before any prospect of bail? I have rights, I am a Canadian, I can do any idiotic thing I want to. Where does it say I have to obey the law?"

Oh dear, wait till Sharia law gets introduced...

  5. Check these amazing pictures from Vancouver after their hockey team lost the Stanley Cup playoff to Boston.

I would never expect such lawlessness from such a bastion of civilised culture. Every country has a growing element of antiestablishmentarianism but this riot got way out of hand because of the inaction of the police to control it.

That's what happens when you get such a politically correct organisation charged with the duty to control a mob of very non-politically correct thugs. I don't want to sound smug, our thugs are no better than Canadas but the moment someone here picked up a Molotov cocktail & refused to put it down when asked, they would have been shot. No one here cares if it was out-of-character behaviour or if alcohol or drugs were a factor, shoot first, sort it out later.

  6. Ken, this beautifully written reflection on your life is sometimes hard to read but I suspect you are doing it as much for yourself as for your "dear readers".

In everyone's heart is the desire to understand ourselves & with understanding comes acceptance. I apologise for writing such cliches. And as to your issues, please continue, this is riveting.

And what a remarkable tale you spin, never in my dreams did I imagine getting an insight into someone's psyche on such an intimate level.

I am utterly fascinated by the frankness of your confessions. The way you relate your latest peccadillo, I was too intrigued to be appalled. You make it sound perfectly valid.

No mean feat in a single post, taking the subject of piss drinking & making it sound almost respectable. OK, not quite respectable but I have never shared an insight on the matter from the other side of the fence before.

You haven't convinced me to try it but I admire your frankness in sharing your story. And like the proverbial moth to the flame, despite whatever shocking subject matter you have in store, I keep being drawn back here for more.

  7. Relax Unc. Your minor indiscretion hardly qualifies as the cause of RX's angst.

He is referring to the posts where someone is asking about a girl whose picture is in the preceding post. Some guys have come straight onto the thread asking questions about her. Like her name, where does she work, is she in Bangkok or Pattaya, what's the name of her bar, etc.

Perfectly reasonable to ask such questions except all that information is included in the post. THE POST THAT IMMEDIATELY PRECEDED THEIRS!!

It has been a while since I've seen it but the word 'annoying' is just not strong enough.

  8. Ken, there's a lesson to be learnt here but I suspect you have already learnt it.

No one can ever buy love. And the saddest thing I ever see is old guys trying to.

The contempt your friend had for you is palpable. The behaviour is deplorable & you must have felt it despite every fibre of your being wanting this to be true love.

It sounds like the friend who wants the motorbike is the real boyfriend & the couple who facilitated the rent deal are related somewhere.

What a horrible scenario you paint & how you could bring yourself to entertain that snarling couple says volumes about where your head was at that day.

I am curious as to why you didn't walk out on the whole bullshit situation. Were you so blinded by love? I guess you must have been.

Thank you for sharing such a personal situation & being so honest about your feelings in the whole thing. It is a rare post indeed that offers such insight into the mind of someone caught up in the moment.

I hope every other male over retirement age reads this & learns that they will be told anything they want to hear if it means they can be parted from their money. Western males simply have no defence from such subterfuge....

  9. Ken, I hope you are not waiting for encouragement from the FMs to continue.

I have been enjoying your beautifully written posts with your sharply drawn observations of your life & loves.

One reason I haven't wanted to act as a one man cheer leading team is I didn't want to spoil the ambiance of your thread.

But we all need a reason for living so I offer my support to you so you can find the willpower to post more.

Go Ken RAH RAH RAH... :goodjob:

  10. I like to organise a visitor for the afternoon. 4 o'clock is a good time to get a knock on the door from one of the local girls. By then I am fully rested & had something to eat. I usually don't drink before 9pm so I am at full power & ready to rock & roll.

I had a couple of chosen ones last year who would arrive bang on time. I was never tempted to put them together, that's a fantasy that is guaranteed to stuff up a good thing. I only invited girls I found attractive & none of them allowed a picture of any kind.

They were happy to get a gig in before their bar opened, it was a little bonus for them without any fuss, easy money that didn't involve having to deal with some new guy who might mess up their hair or leave them bruised, etc.

Over time I favoured one more & more & a strange thing happened. She went from being distant & only there for the money to being the sexiest flirt I've ever known. She got right into it & once she worked out that I finished the job sooner the dirtier she got, well, it was on for young & old.

I really got attached to her & looked forward to discovering what sexy knickers she had worn for the occasion. It was somewhat disconcerting to visit her bar & find her with another. She could sit next to me & not even pass a look. A professional through & through.

On days when I woke with a Thai take-away from the night before then a walk combines the best of both worlds. Exercising while taking in the sights. There is always something to see.

And if perchance I arrived at Soi 6 & was in the mood, I liked nothing better than grabbing a Pook girl & Beer Lao at the same time & going straight upstairs. What's the best thing in the world straight after boom-boom? A cold beer & that Beer Lao was so welcome. And it wasn't even 9 o'clock yet.

Afternoons for me are the time to boom-boom, then the nights are free to do as I like. That way there's never pressure to find someone or when you do, worry about the effects of overdoing the alcohol. I planned it that way last year & now would never do it differently.

  11. no I am not being provocative you seem to be of the opinion that everyone but you is wrong, you can do what you like , why is someone being provocative because they dont agree with the all seeing all knowing Pacman, you go pay these fucking pirates if you like but I wont be doing it and nor will many people.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken. That's irony, a subtle self deprecating dig at myself. You should try it, it might lighten your view of the world.

Just because I write in a positive manner & not from a position of doubt (how boring would that be?) you take my opinions & give them authority they don't have. I make my point & then consider all arguments against it. And I am often swayed. I am not writing gospel, I enjoy an intelligent debate & I certainly don't think of everyone else as being wrong.

But you are welcome to your opinion, you gave me my best laugh of the week with this little gem - "the all seeing all knowing Pacman"... cheers... I loved it...

  12. The Thais didn't invent greed but they all have an honours degree in it. And farangs aren't welcome with open arms as much as we like to think we are. We are welcome as a source of cash & as long as we spread a bit around, we are tolerated.

And the police aren't there to dispense justice, they are the biggest money making force in the whole country. Bars are routinely shaken down & girls are rounded up, not to protect anyone but to keep the revenue flowing in.

Years ago I had an ex-pat friend living in LOS crying on the phone telling me the mafia were after him & were going to kill him. I told him he must go to the police & get their help. There was a pause on the phone while he contemplated what sort of idiot he was dealing with. "The mafia are the police" was all he said.

Now LOS is having to deal with the GFC like every other country. And the bars & clubs won't go down without a fight. And if they see the girls being taken out of their bar after only one drink & they know the top girls get 2 to 3000 baht a night or even just a ST, it doesn't take a maths degree to work out where the money is being made. And if that means they force the girls into servitude, to a Hi So Thai, that is only reinforcing what they believe to be the correct order of things.

The Thais have a shocking reputation for exploiting Lo So's, most bargirls (LB & GG) are from Issan & are seen as something less than real Thai. They comprise over 40% of the population, handle about 5% of the wealth & they are barely tolerated by the 'aristocracy'. Who am I kidding? They are despised as being less than human, why they don't even speak Thai. Issan Thai is a dialect & is considered the language of a very low person.

So all the ingredients are there for a perfect storm in the Pattaya bar scene.

I don't want to see it any more than the next guy & I am not saying this is a fait accompl, but history is on my side. As I wrote yesterday - this is the thin end of the wedge. Once this idea gets into the heads of the Thai club & bar owners, then they won't be deterred by a few upset farang visitors. As Lung reports, it has reached Chiang Mai already. Next it will start happening in Phuket.

Sorry guys, but this is about making money & we can complain all we like, we count for nought. And yes, let me state it again for the record, anyone who decides to hold out, whether it is a farang barowner or a popular girl, they'll be shot. The life of a Lo So is worth nothing in the Land of Smiles.

  13. I personally think you are argumentative

You are being ironic aren't you? A classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. But that's fine, I have been called worse & I love a joker.

and for some reason always like to be greasing up to bar owners.

This comment leaves me speechless. I know a few barowners in LOS, many of them are friends, but no one has ever accused me of "greasing up to bar owners"? What on earth are you on about? This has to be a pisstake, you are being deliberately provocative & I'll let this one go through to the keeper.

  14. You are most welcome to continue doing whatever you wish, I was not suggesting otherwise for a moment. I believe you missed my point but for the sake of PDogg's venture here, I don't wish to endlessly debate this.

I hate the exploitation of the bargirls, LB & GG, as much as you do, they have it tough enough as it is.

I should have thought through my post more carefully last night because now I consider it, the real tragedy of what this barfine bullshit is leading to is not simply the erosion of the girl's earning power, it is nothing less than a fundamental change in the whole scene. It has always been so carefree where every girl could make her own arrangements with her customer, where she was free to reject farangs for her own reasons, where she could drop out of the scene to go longtime with a guy, they had autonomy over their chosen lifestyle.

When the bars control the girls & can take the major share of their earnings, & this idea gets traction, they will all want to do it, then the girls are signing on to a life of prostitution. And before anyone laughs & points out that they are already pro's, I would argue they are only pro's by definition. Real hookers working in a brothel don't get to pick & choose, they charge what the house dictates, they keep a percentage & they are expected to fuck their quota of guys every month. Even if they are drunk, smell & are ugly. They are cunts for hire & they quickly lose their humanity.

This ploy to grab the girls money at Pook & a few places is the thin end of the wedge. I would hate to see the place go the way of the other P4P scenes around the world. But history shows it will happen. The local mafia & the Russian mafia, they won't take long to figure out how to really make money from the scene. And those girls you meet on the street? They'll just shoot 'em.

  15. Hey Hound, I know you love to be controversial but even you must concede that these "robbing cunts" as you so fondly call them, are entitled to make something for the privilege of running a bar in Pattaya.

By calling for their bars to be boycotted, you are effectively shitting in your own nest. Without the bars & clubs, the whole scene will quickly wither & die.

There won't be a critical mass of nightlife to drag customers to Pattaya which in turn means the girls will leave & the guys will stop coming. No bars means no girls which means no farangs. And it can happen so fast it will amaze you. They destroyed the original Patpong overnight.

Things are going to be hard enough with another deadly quiet season descending on LOS & many bars will not survive.

It behoves us all to spend something in any establishment we wish to last the distance. And this whole exercise where the bar is trying to take a chunk of their girls money, we may not like the thought of one Thai exploiting another but that is how the place has always been.

And I don't like it any more than you do when the boss tries to screw the staff but be careful what you wish for when you suggest we all go out & pick them up in the street or the shopping centre.

One day the GFC will pass but till then, we mustn't undermine the bars. We ignore them at our own peril. The cheap beer from 7-11, the girl we text for sex, these are fine until everyone decides it is too hard & shuts up shop. Then what do we do?

  16. On the occasion of his 92nd birthday, this is for Dixon Cox. Hope you enjoy it...

Dixon Cox is a popular monger

who for ladyboys has a bad hunger

    once he was bold

    he's now quite old

the bastard is not getting any younger

    :drinks:

  17. +2 from me Rossco.

I have read a number of your "Life in Thailand" posts over the years & I think is your best one yet.

And so it should be, you've been here longer & I am sure you learn something every day. I detected a different view of the locals in this post, an evolving attitude borne of harsh experience no doubt.

Now to get all the guys looking to relocate to read & understand it. Cheers.

  18. Arnold is a sociopath. Look at what he did to Lou Ferrigno in that original documentary he was in. He destroyed the guy mentally during a big body building competition & did it deliberately.

He seemed to enjoy the fact that his behaviour was captured on film. We rarely get to see these little insights into what makes someone tick but we did here & leopards don't change their spots.

Now his entire record is being questioned because it is considered that if he can lie about his infidelity & worse, rave on about how much he loves his wife, what did he lie about while he was in office?

All these guys come unstuck eventually. Arnold's script demanded that what Arnold wanted, Arnold got. But that life journey he was on involved ruthless behaviour on his part & now it is coming back to bite him in the arse.

    It always does.

  19. Dixon Cox is revealing a rare gift. He's a bit off with some of his iambic pentameter but his rhyming skills are such that he is making me a little shy.

Perhaps I could sub the work out & give him my password so he can post a few as me......

  20. Oh Lefty, I hope they aren't reading this forum, you may be called in for questioning.......

And the Chinese have plenty to be upset with America anyway, they just hide it very well. And the Chinese hold a grudge forever. Thick face black heart don't forget.

A piece of trivia I read last year when silver was the talk of the financial world when it was being speculated that it may be used to prop up future currencies. Everyone thinks of gold backed money but some countries have silver backed money. China was one of them, they abandoned the silver standard after the war when American took advantage of the high price that they offered as part of their exchange rate mechanism.

China had obligated themself to buy silver at a set rate. America dumped tonnes of silver onto them to profit from their generous price. So much silver that China had to drop the idea of a precious metal backed currency.

They still have it, the silver that is. The question was asked where it was. According to Darryl Robert Schoon, one of my favourite financial commentators & a very smart guy, he maintains that it is horded under the houses of the rich. And today it is worth far more than they paid for it. I can't imagine that it hasn't been sold to the electronics industry at these high prices but according to Darryl, they are sitting on the largest stock piles of silver on earth. And it is all part of the capital base they have to draw on to usurp the US dollar as the Reserve Currency of the world & replace it with the Reminbi. Something that many commentators predict will happen sooner than later.

I am sure that will keep our dear friend Khun Lefty on the straight & narrow.

  21. ... then I'm sure you will feel fine, after Paccy Wadd has his way with you.

    PACCY WHAT!!! :shok:

I have no intention of boning Deepthroat's arse!! :nea:

Unless of course it is a spectacular arse in which case a man has to do what a man has to do..... -_-

  22. Some people prefer the enhancements, some don't.

Personally I think a perfect set of bolt-ons are a miracle of plastic surgery & look better than natural tits. And they complete the illusion, I just can't imagine the big names in the LB world ever having their fame without them.

A comment about my statement that it isn't the surgeon to blame for mis-shapen boobs, can you imagine a respected plastic surgeon fitting the implants on the operating table & seeing one tit pointing up & the other pointing down & saying "that's close enough, she's only a katoey, she'll have to put up with it"

By the time the girl is wheeled out of the operating theatre with both breasts securely taped in place, they have been aligned perfectly. The comment from the girls when they say they are OK for sex is all about giving the customer the confidence that he can safely proceed.

Please remember they will say anything for a barfine & when the girl is still tender from her operation, treat them with care.

  23. OK, I'll bite. Just how can a 50/50 proposition favour one outcome over another?

I seem to remember some similar type of conundrum with the same bias. It was shown to be based on a false premise.

What am I missing here TC? Let's see what game you are playing at... ;)
