  1. I just tried to book the Mosiak for the last two weeks of November. They are full. Too bad. I usually stay there. I like the location and its discrete. No lobby, easy access, close to Soi Buckaroo, baht buses, Sunee, and Stalking Street. Anyone have other suggestions?

baan dok mai just around corner not in same class as mosiak worth a look if your stuck

  2. I heard from a BM today that he was short changed and attacked by LBs in a bar, and had his motorbike vandalized as the tires were slashed and clutch broken. Knowing well that there are always two sides to every story, this just seems the result of how desperate the LBs are becoming as mongers are more scarce now a days. the BM in question is a great guy, not inkling of bad in his heart, and is a big time giver, and also was a regular in this bar spending lots of money during every visit.

this incident creating plenty of attention on another site ,

hope things get sorted peacefully for all concerned .

  3. they always seem to put prices up just before sale starts , probly because plane almost full forces

people to pay top price for exact dates , might as well book with Cambodia air or Bangkok air then ,

one good thing air asia seem to have sale every three or four weeks if sales are poor , so if your

dates are flexable no problem ,

  4. Yeah, I really used to like seeing bands in clubs in the Boston area back in the early 80's and into the 90's......no way you can have a better concert experience than being 10 feet away from the band!  Saw the UK Subs and Stiff Little Fingers like that, D.O.A, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Dickies, etc....too mutt fun.

The Clash had JUST become big in 1980 and '81, when Strummer got his mohawk and they did London Calling and had Train in Vain on the radio a lot.   After that tour that hit the Cape Cod coliseum they started playing stadiums, especially after the success of 'Rock The Casbah' and 'Should I stay or should I go'.

some great bands there jaidee , you cant beat a live band in a small club , was just a kid when

I saw uk subs , would you belive they are still gigging , Charlie harper must be as old as the stones .

  5. I think you and jeffs need to get together and hammer out a deal where you're both comfortable paying $1.00 for a beer anywhere in PP. If I were at the negotiating table I would push for a $1.25 threshold. Outstanding service and a tickle of my pickle, well I could go to $1.50 or perhaps beyond.

these are daytime prices when mostly chillin and people watching ,

night time different matter , quite happy to pay going rate when in

    monger areas 104 , 136 , 51 , :drinks:

  6. Always a good spot for a snack is the corner of Soi Diana and Buakhao.  From what I recall some LBs hang out here late at night.  Maybe some of you fine gents can give an update.

yep a great place to hang out at night , and plenty of sausage to go round , warning be

careful daytime crossing the road is a health risk .

  7. You are a brave man Jeffs, or lucky, depending on who you are talking to.  Here is a shot from the FB page taken earlier tonight.  No sign of your opponent mind.
