  1. Formally announcing the return of the PPOP (Pattaya Perverts Other Party) to Pattaya on 28 April 2013 as part of the Bear & Wombat Tour De LOS for BMs (regardless of Forum and other preferences) and their lady(boy) friends.

PPOP II is proudly brought to you by C_Wombat (AKA Dicko), Alaskan Bear (AKA AB, The Bear, the Man Mountain himself ) and a relative newcomer to the scene, Danthepoolman (AKA The Pool Man), also the letters P, L and B and the numbers 2, 69 and 181.

The event will be held at Famous Bar courtesy of Karl & Lita. Food Menu is yet to be determined but we all know the other great offerings available. More info as it comes to hand.

Gents, please let us know either by posting here or on LBP or as a PM to either of us as to your intention to come....for catering purposes only.  The Bear wants to know so he can get his local Dominoes to deliver on time and that guy from NY with the hotdog cart...el.

  2. Just a heads up gents, PPOP II is in early planning for 28 Apr 2013. Other details yet to confirmed but The Wombat, The Bear and The Poolman (danthepoolman on LBP, not sure if he is on here) will co-host the event. So if any BMs are 'in da house' late April, you cordially invited.

More details as they are forthcoming from our party planner in the Alaskan wilderness.

  3. Yes SS we are! Most definitely, of course not without an interpreter/guide or guides with us....we are screwed outside a redlight / bar district alone. So rail and bus will be our modes of transport. Just need to determine GGs or LBs. AB will have been in country two weks before we go and I about a week. Plenty of time to hunt down the concubines to accompany us.

  4. Gents, The Bear and The Wombat are planning a little road/rail trip to such destinations as Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Nong Khai and Khon Kaen in early May 13 and would much appreciate some accommodation recommendations for two travellers of modest means and their concubines. TIA

  5. Anyone want to join the Steptoe & Son Tour to Kanchanaburi on 24 Apr for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service on the 25th? we have a vacancy since Harold had to stay home with his caravan in case the tarmac truck's handbrake gave up the 'ghost'. Apply within.

Hangover II.I as many of you know went well, Josh was very happy and wants to continue the theme...Hangover II.II. The above vacancy has been filled by none other than Mr Redrock, the merchant pusser. We are off to Kanchanaburi in the morning for the solemn occassion on Wednesday.

  6. A big thanks to Josh and the staff at Baby Boom for a most excellent birthday party, sorry I have been tardy in doing this. Has to be the best I've had since my glasses kept going missing in a GGs privates in the mid 90s during the 'Banana Girl' shows we used to have on our Base. Ah the memories....anyhoo as I said great night, top feed :turkey: put on by Mrs Josh, BBQ, potato salad (best I've had in a while) pasta salad n garlic bread etc and of course the cakes both human and baked. :goodjob: :goodjob: A special thanks to Jay for taking such good care of me during the evening and into the next morning.

A good time was had by all, :drinks: , especially the knobber who left without paying his bin  . Thank you and good night.

P.S. I would highly recommend Baby Boom for your smallish gatherings and special events such as birthdays...probably weddings, parties, anything! :drinks:

  7. Gents, just a reminder re the Hangover II.! party on 20 Apr at Baby Boom for the post Songkran celebration, my 26th 21st and any other reason you wish to think of to have a party and watch LBs in the shower whilst others are hanging off poles and having cream licked from their bodies...oh lordie got a bit flustered then. Hosted by Kendo, Snoop Dawg and myself with such luminaries as Albert Steptoe ( not sure if Harold will be there), 68+1 and others in attendence.

ONLY 11 days to go. :thumbsu:

  8. I use AIS in my iPad and phone. I used to use my phone as hotspot but since this is pretty cheap I now have two SIMs. The main reason for this is the battery drain on my phone.

AIS 3G coverage is ok in Pattaya now, so most of there places I visit have 3G coverage. On my phone I have a 350THB package which gives me 1Gb data which is plenty on my phone. On my iPad I went with a unlimited package for 799THB but I think this is a overkill.

You can see the promotions from AIS here --> http://www.ais.co.th/12call/en/promotion_special.html

I tried to get a True SIM once but it was just so much hassle. They wanted my passport and then they wanted my drivers license and then they wanted my Thai drivers license and I just gave up. Maybe I just was unlucky with the clerks... If you want to use wifi I think True has much better coverage/more hotspots. If True is better for 3G I don't know.

Thanks very much for that info grakallen! Its what I was looking for.

  9. Just a question Gents, not sure if its been covered before.

I'm taking my iPhone4S to LOS this trip, my first smartphone, and am wondering about data packs and what other BM s purchase and which company? Was looking at heading to the phone company kiosks at Swampy and getting the sim and data pack.

Am currently looking a a TrueMove Volume pack for 500MB as I wll use the phone as a 'personal hotspot' when the wifi is iffy at the hotels. Any thoughts? :phone:

  10. Please let me know if it works for you other guys.

I use a cheap charlie 1000 baht Nokia. The ladyboys with smartphones must look at me like I'm a loser with a capital L. :shok:

To figure this out I'm searching with my Mac to find this app for the IPhone but nothing comes up under IPB Buddy.

    http://www.apple.com/iphone/built-in-apps/app-store.html

Wonder also if there's an app for the IPad?

Same app works in iPad, PD. for extra 1.99 u get no ads.

  11. Click on the app store icon on your iPhone. Click on search. Type in "IPB Buddy" and the search button. It is a free app. Hit install then enter your password for your apple account and wait for it to install. The app is very easy to use.

Excellent PF! I was using the other IPB app but it wouldn't let me add LBR. I'll make sure I download it to my iPhone as well. Much easier to use in the App than running up Safari and finding the bookmark. Thanks for that info. :goodjob:
