About six years ago I was in the Shanghai Bar, PP (Think that was the name) and a girl was causing trouble behind the bar. A barang manager immediately went to her, slapped her in the face, knocked her down and drug her from behind the bar. Then one of the bar's Cambodian security guys drug her the rest of the way and out the door. And the girl left, no screaming insults or nothing.

After living in Thailand, I couldn't believe my eyes.

Of course life is cheap in Cambodia and maybe she had the guy whacked later but I've NEVER seen a farang manager or owner get physical with a Thai girl or LB ever.

I vote with my feet and walk out. I've learned to trust my instincts and 9 out of 10 times they are accurate. Maybe subconscious but there is a reason you dislike the place; staying for a drink won't make it any better. Just my two satang :)

I enjoy BJs from Ladyboys; however, my all time best was from a GG at Dr. Holms in BKK: full deep throat, CIM and swallowed every drop.

Over all, my personal opinion is that on average LBs are a tad better at blow jobs.

Actually, I think that could be a go :) Many guys are still wrestling with self inflicted "Am I gay" guilt. But they are also excited by ladyboys, a BJ bar, staffed by ladyboys just might go. No involvement on the customers part -unless they desire it- and LBs are usually good at the task :)

I have seen a few LBs working at the Pump Station in Pattaya :)

There is a bar in Pattaya that I will never set foot in again. Went in with a LB and one aggressive LB kept saying "Buy me drink!" Then the other LBs stopped dancing and began saying why you not buy her drink? 555

The farang owner was there but just kept playing with his phone and could care less. I check binned and left, the only customer in the bar and they were not happy until they drove us off, LOL.

The LB I went with was shocked. She worked at a beer bar where they were not allowed to ask for a drink (Pattaya Dark Side bar...)

Back on topic, if I'm interested in a LB, then I do buy her a drink, its her job after all. If some aggressive LB demands a drink, especially if I'm not interested in her, I politely decline, then check bin and leave. I've found its pointless in trying to have a quiet word with management, so I vote with my feet and usually never go back :)

I know one BKK ladyboy that works in a bank. Know another that works in a BKK real estate firm, though I'm uncertain what here actual duties are, sales or office staff. Knew another BKK LB that worked in an insurance firm.

Some of them do get main stream non P4P jobs :)

I read a post on another board by an American that had lived in Thailand for 20 years. He was well acquainted (just friends) with a middle class Thai lady. She once told him "I feel sorry for you as you can never be Thai". I pretty much agree with Lung's post on the Thai's arrogance.

Yes, "farang" is some times pejorative in context. Its no wonder that locals often treat us with disdain- they insult u, treat us with open contempt and we just lap it up. Parallel Universe...

Most of the discos on Walking Street charge ladyboys 100 baht to enter. Despite all the BS about Thais getting along, they rip each other off at every opportunity...

I haven't been to PP for around five years. I always enjoyed my time there though. I remember those markets, especially the Russian market- a good place to buy motorbike parts :)
