  1. He went to Japan and they gave him a tour of a high speed train depot and he took a ride on one of the bullet trains.  You could just see the gears spinning in his head about how much graft he and his cronies can gobble up while "building" some boondoggle of a high speed train from Bangers to Chang Mai.

He is planning on a high speed line to Pattaya.

I like trains.   But if the drop off points are in inconvenient locations then it is worthless.

But if you could take a non-stop high speed train from Darkside in Bangers to the LaBamba/House/Soi 13/1 stop in Patts it would be great.

Have a club car with pole dancers.

BANGKOK, 12 February 2015 (NNT) - Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered the construction of high-speed trains connecting Bangkok with famous tourist sites and invited the private sector to participate in the project.

The Prime Minister on Thursday said the high-speed train project from Bangkok to Pattaya or Hua Hin might be a joint venture in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Thai and foreign investors were both welcomed, said the premier.

Tracks of the high speed trains are expected to be constructed in parallel with the one-meter or 1.453-meter tracks.

As for the U.S., the PM said it was still necessary for the Thai government to trade and invest with all countries despite the U.S.’ misunderstanding of Thailand’s internal affairs. Thailand and the U.S. needed to continue their trade relations as politics was politics, said the premier.

Gen. Prayuth also instructed all ministries to integrate information on their investment strategies so that he could use it for his official trips to foreign countries. - See more at: http://thainews.prd.go.th/centerweb/newsen/NewsDetail?NT01_NewsID=WNECO5802120010023#sthash.AwwJ5fHg.dpuf

    Club 4

A popular daytime bar located in Central Pattaya was the subject of a raid on Thursday, following a tip-off that sex and drugs parties were taking place at the location.

A team of Banglamung District Licensing Officers and Army personnel conducted the raid at the Club 4 Bar off Soi Arunothai, just before 6pm and found many foreign patrons inside.

A total of 9 women, who appeared to be employed by the venue were taken aside and checked. Nothing untoward was found and all the women were over 18 and were not in possession of illegal drugs. Some were urine tested for drugs and they all passed the test.

Rooms on the second floor were searched and nothing untoward was found. However, checks on the venues licenses did reveal problems and these issues have been reported.

No evidence of sex and drugs parties could be found but a report of the raid has been sent to the Governor of Chonburi Province who may impose a closure order on the venue in relation to the licensing problems found.

    BANGKOK (AFP) -

Thai health officials Thursday said teenagers who are too embarrassed to choose condoms that fit are partly to blame for a recent spike in sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among their peers.

In a statement ahead of Valentine's Day -- a time when Thai officials often issue a flurry of warnings about the potential pitfalls of young love -- the kingdom's Ministry of Public Health warned that STIs among 10-19 year olds had increased almost five times in the last ten years.

"It is due to the fact that only 43 percent (of teenagers) use condoms -- and also because they choose condoms that are too big for their actual sizes and they are afraid they will be mocked for being too small," the statement said.

Below is a link to a condom size chart.  It appears that the difference in circumference among brands is quite small though.   Wonder which brand Nancy uses?

I would imagine that condoms fit better on guys and ladyboys whose penises more closely resemble a cylinder but in reality girth is not constant but varies along the length of the shaft.

  4. Yingluck and noodles are back in the news.

BANGKOK: Thailand’s junta chief said the military is keeping such a close eye on ousted prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra (pic) that she would be unable to eat a bowl of noodles without their permission.

Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, a former army general, was justifying the decision to have soldiers search a convoy taking Yingluck to a ceremony for her ancestors in her northern hometown of Chiangmai earlier in the week.

The following day she was pictured eating noodles in the town, a political stronghold of her wealthy but wildly divisive family.

“If she wants to go to eat noodles then she can go but if we prohibit her then she cannot go,” Prayuth told reporters yesterday, indicating the military would continue to monitor her movements.

He said the military’s decision to halt Yingluck’s convoy was part of providing security.

Club 4 (if I have the name correct) was raided today. It is one of maybe 8-10 gentlemans clubs that has been raided recently. While not a staple of LB lovers the gentlemans clubs seem to be getting hit very hard.

The number of raids seem to be at an all time high.  Besides the crackdown on short time rooms there is evidence of a crackdown on non-Thai sex workers be it PI ladyboys at 60 Bar or Cambodian boys in the Jomtien Complex.

Club 4 is an interesting joint.  It's sort of out of the way in an area surely not zoned for bars.  You need to ring a doorbell to get in. Besides the bar area there are palces to lie down like an Arab sheik and have a drink with a lady.  If you wantthey can close the curtains for a blowjob mcuh like My Friend You on Soi 6 but there is a barfine involved if teh curtains are closed.  Or you could just go upstairs to a shortime room.

But it seems the game is changing.

  6. food stalls at Pattaya tai and Bukhao, like that great chicken rice place PD?

I eat there a few times a week.

But what I am talking about is the Jomtien side of Pattaya Tai  starting about a 2 minute walk past 2nd Road and extending as far as the firts Day/Night Soi.

Starts around 11PM but prime time is around 2 AM.

  7. Even though they're not freelancing, ladyboys are everywhere in Pattaya.  Late at night on the Pattaya Tai foodstalls is a good place to meet ladyboys after hours.

Was on Ko Samet recently, a place that's certainly not known for ladyboys and there were two working in the 7/11.

  8. after hearing about the BiB chasing away LBS from my beloved Coconut bar a few months back, just wondering if its back to normal quantity-wise or not?

A buddy of mine who only pulls from Coconut Bar says there are about 60% less working there now.

That's too many to get displaced anywhere.  But I reckon there is a minor diaspora to Buackhao, Mouth Moy, Soi 13/1 and Soi 6/1.

I think more and more are just deciding to advertise their wares online.

  9. Stumbled across this list of New York books online and realize that I haven't read any of them except for maybe Breakfast at Tiffany's or maybe like George Costanza I just saw the movie; I forget.

Lots of notable books aren't there such as Bright Lights Big City which was kind of a Lower Manhattan cult classic back in the day.

A really great book about New York is Time and Again where a guy goes back in time to 19th Century New York.

And they left one of my favorite books of all time, Bonfire of the Vanities off the list.

Anyone have any favorite New York books?

People say New Yorkers are rude or always in a rush, but the truth is that New York is a city of dreamers. Residents come from near and far, drawn by the electric energy that has characterized the metropolis for generations. From the shores of the rivers to the tops of the skyscrapers, New York is full of stories, true and fictional, that reveal why this big, brash, messy city continues to be such a magnet for both travelers and residents alike. Here are 10 of our favorite reads, classic and contemporary, that capture that seductive, one-of-a-kind energy and help explain what makes New York so beguiling.

    1. Here Is New York by E.B. Whitehere-is-new-york.jpg

The Charlotte’s Web author—and great American essayist—captures a poignant snapshot of New York City in the sweltering summer of 1948 in this iconic essay, presented in charming small-book form. In a stroll throughout Manhattan, he perceptively describes the city’s sounds and sights, the character of its neighborhoods, and the types of people who call the city home. “No one should come to New York to live unless he is willing to be lucky,” White writes on the essay’s first page.

    2. My First New York: Early Adventures in the Big Citymy-first-new-york.jpg

Actors, politicians, models, fashion designers, artists, and writers have one thing in common: They all arrived in New York at some point for the first time, big-eyed and in awe of the city. This collection captures the early anecdotes of well-known personalities from Liza Minnelli to Danny DeVito, and from Ira Glass to David Chang. These funny, candid, and often stumbling tales provide a lens into New York at a distinct moment in time. For more writing fromNew York magazine and a deeper look at the city it chronicles, check out this collection, featuring stories from four decades of the magazine.

    3. Waterfront: A Walk Around Manhattan by Phillip Lopatewaterfront.jpg

Native New Yorker and renowned personal essayist Phillip Lopate turns his focus to the shoreline of Manhattan in this engaging book. While much writing about the city focuses on its people, buildings, and culture, this book begins with the borders that define Manhattan. The history of New York—such as the construction of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge—is divulged as Lopate strolls every step of the perimeter of the island.

    4. The New York Stories of Edith Whartonny-stories-edith-wharton.jpg

Readers seduced by the romantic entanglements of upper class New Yorkers in Edith Wharton’s The Age of Innocence will appreciate this collection of 20 stories from throughout Wharton’s career. The perceptive reader can chart the development of Wharton’s style, from her first published story to later work. Wharton captures her native city through tales of its drawing rooms, late night soirees, and struggles of the era.

    5. Wonderful Town: New York Stories from The New Yorkerwonderful-town.jpg

A collection of short fiction from The New Yorker,Wonderful Town includes a range of voices from James Thurber to Maeve Brennan to John Cheever. The setting of these stories is spread from the well-heeled streets of the Upper East Side to downtown Manhattan after dark. The diverse stories are a reminder to the reader of the endless inspiration New York City has provided to writers over generations.

    6. Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Lethemmotherless-brooklyn.jpg

Readers seeking a page-turner with New York City in the background should check out Motherless Brooklyn, a detective novel set in contemporary Brooklyn. The author, born in New York, tells the store of Lionel Essrog, an orphan from Brooklyn with Tourette’s. Lionel gets mixed up with a small-time mobster in this detective story that combines crime-solving with serious social questions.

    7. Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capotebreakfast-at-tiffanys.jpg

Published in 1958 in Esquire magazine, this novella features perhaps Truman Capote’s best-known character: Holly Golightly. Set in Manhattan’s Upper East Side in the early 1940s, this is the tale of an unemployed society girl who frolics with the city’s wealthy men. The novella served as the inspiration for the 1961 film of the same name, starring Audrey Hepburn.

    8. The Beautiful and Damned by F. Scott Fitzgeraldthe-beautiful-and-damned.jpg

Readers drawn to the glitzy Jazz Age should pick upThe Beautiful and the Damned, Fitzgerald’s 1922 novel that offers a glimpse into the decadent world of the Manhattan elite during this era. Questions of love and money filter throughout this book, all set against a glittering New York backdrop. The novel is believed to be based largely on the relationship of the author and his wife, Zelda Fitzgerald.

    9. Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCannlet-the-great-world-spin.jpg

Irish author and New York resident Column McCann delivers a meticulous portrayal of life in New York City in this award-winning novel. Real events—like a tightrope walker strolling between the Twin Towers in 1974—are juxtaposed with the fictional lives of a variety of intriguing characters. This engrossing story brings together the tales of characters from all points in the social spectrum, all sharing the same city.

    10. Mapping Manhattan by Becky Coopermapping-manhattan.jpg

This book portrays the intimate lives of New Yorkers through maps. The art project originally began with Becky Cooper strolling through Manhattan, meeting native New Yorkers along the way. She asked them to “map their Manhattan” and soon, her mailbox was full of intimate illustrations, depicting former homes and love stories. These maps by everyday New York residents are joined by maps from famous New Yorkers in a beautifully illustrated book that will expose readers to numerous slices of life.

Bangkok city officials are urging young Thais to forgo sex on Valentine's Day this weekend and visit temples instead, as a far better way to mark the day of love.

Thailand has one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in South East Asia, public health officials said, and faces HIV infection rates among its gay population comparable to those in Africa's AIDS hotspots.

The February 14 celebrations are a popular Western import in tourist-friendly Thailand, but the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is worried about teenagers making love.

Media surveys have shown teenagers in Thailand pick Valentine's Day as the perfect day to lose their virginity.

"If kids really love each other, it's better for them to go and free birds and fish or go to the temple," said Pirapong Saicheua, an official of the city authority.

Freeing caged birds is an auspicious Buddhist ritual that believers in Thailand and elsewhere in Asia see as a way of enhancing their merit, or karma.

"Better to put your minds at ease. Don't obsess over something inappropriate for your age," Mr Pirapong said.

Predominantly Buddhist Thailand remains mostly conservative despite its reputation as a hotspot for gay bars, nightclubs and massage parlours.

This year, an administration worried over the spike in teenage pregnancies made available 3.5 million condoms in 68 healthcare centres and 10 city hospitals.

Thailand's health ministry also plans to install condom vending machines in high schools, said Sophon Mekthon, who heads the ministry's disease control department.

Most students welcomed the project, first tested in 2010, but it was opposed by parents who fear the machines could encourage teenagers to have sex.

"Two out of three kids gave positive feedback, but around 90 per cent of parents strongly disagreed," Mr Pirapong said.

Still, young people in Bangkok said there was little chance of moral guardians persuading them to rein in sexual activity.

"I think sex can't be prohibited," said Khemaphat Santong, a 21-year-old student at the city's Chulalongkorn University.

"I mean, in some public places, yes, but stopping someone from doing it entirely is impossible."

UDON THANI — Police say they are looking for an Irish tourist who allegedly smashed a brick into the face of an Irish expat in Udon Thani province early this morning.

The victim, who said he teaches English at a local school, told police through an interpreter that he met a fellow Irishman traveling through the province and invited him over for a drink last night.

According to the victim, an argument broke out after several hours of drinking, leading the tourist to smash a brick in the victim’s face, causing him to bleed profusely. The suspect then fled the seen quickly, the victim told police.

Pol.Lt.Col. Sananchai Mortaisong, an officer at Mueang Udon Thani Police Station, said the suspect had already checked out of his hotel room this morning by the time police arrived in an attempt to question him.

"We are working to find [the suspect] and prosecute him," Pol.Lt.Col. Sananchai said.

  12. My understanding is that a major problem for some transgendered people in the States is going to the bathroom when out in public.

Here in Thailand it is a non-issue.

Ladyboys in Thailand use the Ladies Room in restaurants, airports, government offices, everywhere.

Schools might be a little different as there may be dress codes in some schools.  This might be changing; Ir eally don't know.

    Are things changing in America?

Being able to relieve yourself in a public place is a human rights issue for sure.  It's bad enough if you can't use the bathroom of your choice but I reckon for some people, they might feel uncomfortable using either bathroom.  This sure limits freedom in the Land of the Free.

  13. OK...Lets see you LB shaggers..not where it is ,,,where it was in Pattaya.... :flirt2:

I'll take a guess and say Soi 7 but off the street towards Soi 8.  There was some sort of cabaret there that we were at years ago; not sure if this is the same one.

  14. A really pretty and silicone free Ladyboy is working at Boat Bar (left hand row in the middle)i n the Rompho Complex.  Think her name is Mya, but not sure.  Her English isn't to good but her all natural look in my opinion is a hundred times better than the Hot Tuna look.  Khun Quinn probably knows her.

  15.

Also  Facebook block you for the slightest infringement if reported from what i see

Facebook will block you from adding people if too many people that you try to add don't accept your friend request.

Facebook would like to have 6 billion people on the planet using their real names and nobody using FB under phoney names to goof around.

They want Facebook to be a medium for real friends to connect rather than a hookup site for people who do not have a pre-existing relationship.

  16.

The Inducement Suppression bill which will ban specific kinds of pornography in a bid to increase efficiency in suppression, potentially paves way for a ban of group sex, bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, and sadomasochism (BDSM) in the name of public morals.

The bill defies "materials which induce dangerous behaviour" as any publication, printed matter, photographs, films, messages, data or anything which encourages or induces the following:

    1. deviant sexual behaviour
    2. sex with children
    3. cruelty against children
    4. suicide of children or group suicide
    5. illicit drug usage
    6. commission of the following crimes: terrorism, robbery, theft, murder, assault

It then explains that “deviant sexual behaviour” is

    1. sex between parents and children
    2. sex between people who share at least one parent
    3. sex with physical violence, especially using implements
    4. forced sex
    5. group sex
    6. sex with animals
    7. sex with corpses

If passed, the Inducement Suppression bill will definitely outlaw hundreds of movies and TV series, especially from Hollywood, such as Fifty Shades of Grey, the popular Hollywood movie based on the novel of the same title in which the main protagonists engage in BDSM practices. At present, without the law, Amarin Publishing House has already censored some erotic scenes of the Thai translation, saying that the contents are “too excessive to be presented in Thai society”.

  17. I think how a person self identifies is the most important factor.

If someone identifies themselves as straight but likes to suck ladyboy cock that's fine with me.

If forced to label myself, I'll go with Trysexual.

One thing though, if I were to rank all 21 year old Southeast Asian girls and also rank all 21 year old Southeast Asian boys as to sexual desirability, I am quite certain I'd rather sleep with the 50th percentile girl than the 50th percentile boy.  But I might very well go with the 99th percentile boy over the 99th percentile girl.

  18. Was this a question in a quiz ?

    Nope.

But Team Heefoo totally dominated and fooking demolished the competition last night.  :sword:

Alis has a big cock for sure.  But the lovely shape is what makes it special.  Part of the aesthetics is her beautiful bellend that has a circumcised look to it.

  19. In America the women who work at outcall prostitution services are called Escorts since prostitution is illegal.

A street prostitute would never be called an Escort.

In practice, Escorts and Clients interact mostly in the bedroom.

In Thailand, bargirls are more like escorts in the traditional meaning of the word, before the word escort was associated with prosititution where a young man might escort a young ladydoy to a dance.

So many guys like that you can do normal stuff with bargirls outside the bedroom and some guys refer to this as the  Girlfriend Experience (GFE).  But other guys call just a great bedroom encounter where a girl or ladyboy seems really into you as a GFE.

  20. Heads up, Lita Bar is having their 1st Anniversary Party on February 19th.

But I want to double check the date as I am pretty sure the bar opened last January 31st.

Lita Bar opened on January 31st 2014 which was Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year is on February 19th, 2015.

So the 1st Anniversary Party is on February 19th, 2015.

  21. Bangkok horse racing (maybe this should be in Locker Room) - yesterday (Sunday) in the first race, the Maiden handicap at the Royal Turf Club meeting a horse named  "Lady Boy" was among the starters.

She is a young filly by Coal Play, ran a respectable race too, finishing second.  It was her first race start after trialling okay last year.  I'll keep an eye out for her at her next run.

It'd be fun to be in the stands yelling Cmon Ladyboy!  :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Is it an every day thing or do they race only on Sunday?

    Easy to get two.

Parimutual system as in the West?

  22. Guys have lots of complaints about ladyboy bars.

One complaint is that they get badgered for drinks and hassled by the ladyboys.

Who wants to go to a bar to relax and then have the staff try to impose their will on you?

Another complaint is that a guy goes into a bar and gets ignored by the staff.

Who wants to go to a ladyboy bar to have some fun and then be totally ignored by the staff and left sitting alone?

I reckon the most successful ladyboy bars are those with friendly, sexy ladyboys who neither hassle you nor ignore you.

But to some degree there is a tradeoff and it's often one or the other.

So which bothers you the most gents, Getting Hassled or Being Ignored?

  23. Does anyone have an opinion on Obsessions?

Welcome to the Forum Lastyle!  :drinks:

Are you talking about Bangkok Obsessions or Pattaya Obsessions?

Here's a link to Pattaya Obsessions.

    http://www.ladyboyreview.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1203-obsessions-pattaya/

Neither one is in the Action Street Beer Bar Complex though.

Sensations, probably the most popular ladyboy bar in Pattaya, is in Action Street. A few other bars with a sprinkling of ladyboys too.

  24. if i well understand from today the new decree law in BKK is that taxis cannot refuse a drive anywhere in BKK. so no more "no no"

I think that was always the law.

We shall see what happens.
