I have had short trips to Cambo, Phils, and Thailand in that order...in truth Thailand is simply the easiest destination for mongering...plane flight to Bangkok, $4 bus ride to Pattaya, and BAMM...ladyboys from sun up to sun down in the bars and clubs and walking the streets...hotels are cheap in Pattaya too...you don't even need reservations...really...it is that easy...others may disagree, but Pattaya felt safer than many US cities I have been to for the first time... .

The Phillipines I found wonderful for long time experiences with girls if I wanted to spend a week or more with a ladyboy as a traveling companion...since most filipinos with more than a 3rd grade education speak excellent english, you can enjoy a bus/boat/plane ride with your traveling companion since you can converse about anything...I'm assuming you are an English speaker yourself.  I found Cebu...philippine ladyboy central...to be ok for short stays...but I usually used Cebu as a place to interview my potential travel mates, then hit the road to someplace more beachy...like boracay, malapascua, bohol, negros oriental...I would probably go crazy if I had to spend more than 3 straight nights in Cebu...although the clubs in Mango Square are open till sunrise on the weekends and full of ladyboys who you will swear are real girls...

Cambodia...adventure travel only...with an option to chase ladyboys...don't go to Cambodia for the ladyboys...Go to see Ankor Wat or the genocide museum, or the pristine islands off Snookyville, and if you find ladyboys along the way...a super bonus...
