Despite the village still searching for him he continues on his personal tirade completely missing the point including the title of the thread.

The middle bar in the complex had the original lease for all the bars there; the lady that had the bar became friendly with New as she had helped her with licensing etc. when the BiB came round. Unfortunately she took her own life and the son took over. He tried the bar for a while but has since sub let it to an LB who claims to have several businesses in the Jomtien area (all found to be bullshit). We'd always got on with the girls in the bar including Bambi, rung their bell when we had a party, gave them food etc., this new LB in charge changed all that and won't allow them to speak to anyone from New's bar. It came to a head when Newbar customers complained that they'd gone to the middle bar, asked if it was Newbar and told 'yes'...when they spotted New's girls they shifted bars. A few had got friendly with Bambi and exchanged details. Whenever they were in Newbar and Bambi spotted them they received nasty messages including violence; some guys were not comfortable with this and complained to New who told me. I asked New if it happens again just have a word with Bambi as she knows you. So..it did. New approached Bambi who panicked and clocked New one. Doris forgot the niceties and ploughed in, it ended up with her chasing Bambi behind the bar and getting her in a headlock to desist. As New was finishing wrapping up business for the day she got a call from Soi 9 to report there as a complaint had been made against her. The LB claimed New had tried to steal money from her bar; the CCTV showed her nowhere near any money. The BiB said 10k and it goes away. New said you go away you're getting nothing. The LB Bar keep claimed she had a lawyer who would throw her in jail. New said get your lawyer as it's you who will be paying him money. The BiB said come back tomorrow. They all reported there and the big guy reviewed it and threw it out telling New to stay away from them. Bambi reported to all that she'd put New in hospital for a week...lovely girl. I spotted Sally working there last month and wasn't sure at first but Bumblebee and PDogg confirmed it, I slipped her some cash for Xmas and got frosty looks from the LB Bar keep.

How Do The Girls Survive... 10 years on... The girls are a different generation, more intelligent and savvy to what's around them. They have grasped all technology has to offer and use it to their advantage. All the social media is at their fingertips on the latest smartphone. However...they have to earn their spurs on the way up. Some use the bars to promote themselves and their availability...no longer interested in being salaried much preferring to turn up when it suits them. They quickly realise that Thai Friendly is not always a great deal unless you have an idea who is on the other end of the Line... Being available in a bar gives them first hand knowledge of the fellas and build their 'cussamer' base; occasionally a sponsor will fall out of the tree but a realistic figure to maintain them is far higher than it used to be; a pretty girl with some sense will be making money from barfines, ST's, LT's and a regular amount from LD's, tips, if they're in a good spot. I would put a figure of 3k per day as an average earn for a pretty girl; more if she's manage to pick up a sponsor.

How Do The Girls Survive... It's a different ballgame these days; 10 years ago they would be reliant on sitting at their bar hoping to catch someones eye for a few drinks and a take out. Barfines, Ladydrinks etc. were usually paid at the end of the month where discretionary cuts may be made for tardiness, behaviours and in some bars, quotas not achieved. This ensured that the bar could get a full months attendance out of them. Some of the more savvy ones snared their sponsors early, clever ones would play the game while the airheads would soon destroy any element of trust previously earned and swiftly lose their monthly allowance. One Ezy bar girl had 3 European fellas all sending her 1k Euro pm and still was in the bar every night looking for more. Some of the girls from those days are still around; a few have steady relationships which maintain them, a few have bars as their source of income, some have found regular jobs and others drift into the massage parlours or return to the village; sadly a few were lost along the way.
