  1. I'm on the ground again right now.. but I'm not too impressed with the "amount" of talent. There's been a transformation over the last 10 years.

Most girls seem to be getting a bit older and a bit fatter generally especially in GGs. You have to look a bit harder to find good looking ones.

Ladyboys still look good but I didn't see a ton of them even in the usual hangouts of years gone by in the same quantity. Like I could go on beach road and spot ladyboys hanging out on Soi 13/1. No longer the case.

Could go to ladyboy afterhour hangout spots if you knew and spot them.. no longer the case. Marine is dead! Maybe saw 2 lbs in Walking Street tonight at midnight and that's what you used to see at 10 AM when everyone went to sleep and only a few needed to exchange some money.

Pattaya is actually becoming "residentialy" compared to before.. there will be people who disagree but the way I see it, its mostly still okay for mongers but where as before you might not want to repeat with someone for 3 months.. now you might have to repeat again in 3 weeks.

That said I still loved staying a bit outside of Pattaya and still like it but if Pattaya doesn't recover and your sex drive is high.. you might want to consider Bangkok.

If Pattaya was too much for you in 2010 and you've toned your sex drive down a tad.. it could be just right.

Anyways we all have our preferences so you'll have to choose for yourself where you like. My advice.. go somewhere for a week.. then keep changing the location till you find what you like. (I hated Phuket)

There is a lab on Pattaya Klang, just a few stores past 3rd Road on the right side if you are headed from the beach to Sukhumvit.  Two friends got tested there. Quick turnaround time and they received the proper documentation.

Both friends were going back to the USA. All they needed was an antigen test. 490 baht.

About how far from the intersection of third road and pattaya klang were you talking about? like 50 yards or so?

also the Vaccine has killed more people than being disclosed.

insurance Companies in the US are reporting that deaths of those 19 to 65 have increased by 40% in 2021....including increasing from 2020 when Covid deaths were at their highest.

Pfizer tried to suppress its OWN findings but a Freedom of Information challenge in Texas is forcing them to disclose. Month by month we are getting more documents. You can see the death rates and side effects reported in there too. Vaccine deaths appear to be higher than Covid deaths for 2021 and certainly for 2022.

Not what I've seen or been briefed on or told by co-workers.

Even my dad has had 4 shots of Pfizer too.. he's safe and sound.

There are more covid deaths in 2021 because Delta variant is original on steroids, much more transmissable and deadly.

Repeating lies made by political anarchists doesn't change facts that most deaths happened in places where vaccine hesitancy is a major factor or there are no vaccines.

don't get your hopes up! The lockdown mob are no doubt working on it. You'll see them on T.V soon enough

Oh hush! Lockdowns are only needed where you're having mass deaths and don't even know what you're facing.. what kind of a virus is it, how its spreading..

But if you're really scared of lockdowns you should be concerned mostly about Ebola or a super variant of it.

Thankfully most of the outbreaks don't reach the west or the east and spread like wildfire. But the right super bug can cause mass death.. just look at original covid and delta.

I personally have a feeling that the original and delta killed more people than is known worldwide.. but the knowledge is suppressed for political reasons (example.. India and China's coverups). Atleast in the west you have some semblence of data even if its disputed for politics.

Not really. Only for shopping, though most of that is done online now. Occasionally to the local park.

Nowhere else I want to go to these days. Though I live in London I've seen most of the sights.

I did go to a local cinema to see the Northman (Vikings) a couple of weeks ago, but that was the first time for about five years.

Its funny how some of us "goblins/ cheap charlies" get a bad name but we really know how to prioritize what we want to do and save for that.

Really obvious if you want to save up for a Patek Phillipe .. we can't be buying Tudors and Rolexs every week.

    And once we get there.. P A R T Y? Cuz I got to! :biggrin::party0011::party0005:

  6. Thank you. much appreciated. This really helps me out.

And I think your description puts it just past the ladyboy massage shops area roughly so that's a plus!!

  7. Yes I too was looking up the stuff for when I'm traveling back and I saw this on the US Embassy in Thailand website:

Unless I'm wrong the Pattaya City Hospital is the only location near Central Pattaya (actually located on Soi Bukhao) though there are a few in Chonburi and quite a lot in Bangkok.

As for being thick.. I didn't see RT-PCR test anywhere so an antigen test should be adequate!

If someone else has traveled and used a different place for a test, please let me know and how much it costed!

And cannot stomach Star Wars anymore, didn't even bother to see the final film of the triple trilogy.

The sequel trilogy is garbage. I saw it once and never again.

The classics of the original trilogy and Revenge of the Sith work.

That's why I recommended Rogue One.. the story, the movie it just works as extension of the original. Trust me by the end of that movie.. you'll be like OH MY GOD why didn't I catch it earlier..

Also its a very welcome 2 hours.. not a long distraction from other stuff!

Agree with most of this, but for myself I'll continue to wear a mask and get updated vax's. My buddy got COVID and still has no sense of smell and is exhausted most of the time, months after "recovering". I don't worry I'll die if I contract it, I worry I'll get long COVID and be useless to myself or anyone else.

Used to be that ignorant folks knew they were ignorant and just changed the subject to NASCAR. Now they want to lecture you on why Ivermectin and Hydroxychloraquine are the real miracle cures and are being suppressed and other such nonsense. I too long to return to the days when the uneducated didn't second guess the educated. They now vilify science, medicine, infectious disease experts, anyone that actually grad-jew-ated High Skool and went on to get an advanced degree.

Yeah the world is completely nuts right now.

BTW you're right.. prevention is the best cure!

  10. I love sci-fi and myseries so this is my top 5

    Battlestar Galactica (2003-09)

Still the best TV series I've ever seen.. starts with the MiniSeries (3 hour pilot movie), then season 1, 2, 3 & 4.

    Altered Carbon Season 1 & 2

A very close 2nd. (can catch on Netflix)

    Sense8

Made by the Wachowski's.. really awesome (can catch on Netflix)

Rogue One.. if you ever liked Star Wars the original trilogy.. this movie will blow your mind!

    Narcos

    More realistic and dark.. riveting.

  11. This might be controversial but I've yet to taste a foreign food that tasted up to par in Thailand. Most of them are cheap imitations.

It's not just western cuisine either. The same can be said for "samosas" which are Indian food and I love them but they're always under par.

    Same with bento boxes.

Burgers and Pizzas are always undercooked.

I mean even the best lasagna I tasted in Jomtien was ookay. Probably the best thing I could say I found would be the nachos and cheese in the Movie Theater in Central Festival or the caesar salad that were on par with the western stuff. Nothing that literally blew my mind away!

Only thai food seems to taste good in thailand.

  12. Just watched The Batman with the missus yesterday with Robert Pattison.

Felt more like it was watching a murder mystery and Zoe Kravitz's in a sexy corset.

Not terrible..  5/10. felt like the directors knew they couldn't compete with Nolan so went a completely different route.

The Christian Bale trilogy is still the best imo!

There is food and energy inflation but my biggest expense is rent and Pattaya rentals are cheaper than ever!

I saw on a Facebook group the other day that a newish 37 sqm one bedroom Jomtien condo with a gym and pool was only 4000 baht a month.

What is it 8 per electric unit and 25 per water unit now?

WTF? I paid 10k for a room with a bathroom and a balcony in 2019 june.

Paying similar soon but not staying that long that next month.

Blew past that resistance level today and currently trading at 34.29 although at TT Exchange in Pattaya you can currently get only 34.08.

That's gotta be great value for you. Extra 4000 baht every month if you have a $1000 to spend every month.

But how's inflation? I imagine that's cutting into the value bit.

It didn't cross 34 last year but could do so soon. This may have more to do with dollar strength than baht weakness.

Fucking hell.. 10 years ago I cringed when I had exchange at 29, closer to 28.

    10 grand too.

As it turned out.. I moved back stateside and still have like 70k baht left over from that transaction with the last king's pictures on it. Hopefully that money is still good!

I sedldom found a cute looking Indian shemale/ladyboy. Even this one without fat belly has someting that I find unattractive. Otherwise, I would be beating the tracks in India.

    Everyone has a type!

And there was one working in the old Guess bar a long time ago that some might have had good times with.. Vivian??

At least I think her name was Vivian.

  18. Yeah India. Sometimes I like exploring stuff off the beaten path or at least I used to.

It seems they've gotten into hormones and silicone like Thailand so the results are way better than they used to be.

Met a really good looking Indian transgirl in Canada over 10 years ago.. rates were quite reasonable then too as she was starting out but now you're pretty much paying western rates for her. She seems to have become quite popular.

I gave the missus a make over on her pc by dual booting linux mint.

She hasn't complained in over a month. She was annoyed by constant windows updates and dell update prompts. Been able to watch her videos, search for thailand hotels, atk, embassy, use messenger, discord, line without problems.

So linux mint.. ladyboy tested.. ladyboy approved that it does indeed float the boat! :party0011:

  20. I generally take a few days out of every trip to do some shopping in Thailand to buy some band tshirts. (Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Judas Priest, Disturbed, etc)

Anyone know where that kind of stuff can still be found currently?

I'm asking for recent info since the locations might have changed due to COVID closures.

So thank you if you can point me in the right direction.
