So which is it,  do you need proof of vaccine or not? He says you do (or PCR test).  I think on Thaiger the other day they said no, no need anymore.

Also since its digital application now you can apply for SETV from another country, not necessarily your permanent resident country.  Malaysia is his example. Interesting.

  2. Hmmm . Another leg of the Neverending Tour kicked off tonight in Oslo. Not too sure about the setlist. No Murder most foul?

Oh well, still beats basically everything else in life except maybe a freebie* from an eager well hung ladyman.

I've seen him do Every grain of sand countless times and although I'm a hardcore atheist.. Gotta serve somebody, right?

As this forum is basically all about money these days, (no money no honey, I've heard in Thailand),  I converted and calculated the ticket for tuesday night's show. Its about 4330b.

Well worth the money, imo. 5 short times in Patts or 3 in Bkk, about 20 dodgy massages in Jomtien.  A farang dinner out at a swanky steakhouse in Thailand. (Not enough in the west, I think).

Now if you're merican its ovbiously peanuts.   If you are eurotrash its rather hefty,  or god forbid briton, its downright fucking expensive. Better save them monies for the electric bill  the upcoming winter. Better stop there as discussing energy prices is  getting political.

they were the last great rock band that embodied the spirit of rock n roll.

Its about timing, being at he right place the right time which is why I totally get The Beatles greatness for people a bit older than me. They were the first.

I was 14 when London Calling and The River  came out , now thats timing. Life changing moments for me. Obviously too young to experience Dylans entrance.

that's why rock is so boring now.

It is and it's because we're old. Some absolutely great new bands out there for the kids, not for us. I have tried this last summer but its just annoying and exhausting. Too loud, too in your face.

Have to agree. Although I was a fan early 90's , went to several concerts, but their stuff haven't and very well. Same with Bon Jovi, huge fan around the New Jersey-album , but today, pass.

You do me a disservice Seven!   other than perhaps 3-4 songs i never liked the Beatles. But, would agree with your 2nd choice. NIrvana? never heard them so can't comment.

I assumed you liked them, I’m sorry. Your username most likely played a part.
She loves you yeah yeah yeah’ ,who can ignore such brilliant piece of lyrics.

    Genesis= Eternal Boredom.
    Peter Gabriel equally boring.

but have ridden the bang wagon w all of them except Nirvana

You’re spot on,sith. A lot of these band you were supposed to like because they had so much cred. The list is long, Nirvana most definitely being one of those.

As for Bono and Sting… don’t get me started  (The Police was a pretty good band , but Sting  and his pretentious persona is another story).

are we allowed to say Queen in this thread?.....]

Careful bbg,  you’re on thin ice but as PDiddy mentioned Mr. Presley who more commonly went by another nickname I guess we’re still good. Here’s the great Phil Lynott with his tribute to him that still holds , imo.

By what I'm hearing, he has also been nominated a couple/few times for a Nobel Literature Prize. Hopefully the future will bring that.

Just read back some great post by Lefty, Siam Sam and KenW in this thread. If KenW only knew what was coming 4 years after his post. Hope he did get to experience it.

  7. One of the most overrated albums and bands ever.

Maybe we can have a thread about this; most overrated bands. If it gets heated it’s already in the right section.

    The Beatles (Sorry, bbg).

    The Who

    Nirvana

    The Doors

Good news for the Swedish Krona.

No, not really. It's weak against other currencies as well. You won't see many sextourists from Sweden in Patts this highseason unless they are tax evading far right voters. Surely there aren't any of that kind there.

    https://english.news.cn/20220922/fad6dadc1b0448118509bc5fe1d4b406/c.html

STOCKHOLM, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- The Swedish krona fell to a historic low against the U.S. dollar on Thursday. For a brief, the krona traded at 0.090 dollars, its lowest ever, against the backdrop of staggering inflation and a string of domestic and international rate hikes, TT news agency reported. The krona weakened despite Tuesday's decision by the Swedish central bank (Riksbank) to raise its main policy rate by 100 basis points to 1.75 percent.

    https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/banking-finance/us-dollar-firm-ahead-of-fed-swedish-krona-not-helped-by-rate-rise

US dollar firm ahead of Fed, Swedish krona not helped by rate rise

THE US dollar remained strong near a 2-decade high versus major peers on Tuesday (Sep 20) as investors held firm in expectation of another aggressive rate hike by the Federal Reserve (Fed), the centrepiece of a week packed with central bank meetings.

Sweden’s central bank set the tone for the week by raising rates by a full percentage point on Tuesday. The rate hike by the Riksbank was larger than analysts had expected, causing the Swedish krona to briefly spike against the euro and US dollar.

It failed to hold on to that strength however, and the euro extended recent gains, climbing to a fresh 6 month top of 10.846 kronas. The US dollar also climbed 0.36 per cent to 10.82 kronas.

    Anyone planning a visit?

Well, you could've told me the Soi Buakao was shut. I was so looking forward hanging out in my speedos ogling some ladymen I heard were frequenting the place, but I think they were TreeTown freelancers.  Can try this place instead.

Theres another Beach club down there, but on the beach.  I've  seen many farang bring their ladymen there. Alexa I think its called. A bit posh Hi So. I've seem they got them fake champagne bottles in big ass buckets of ice. St Tropez was  bit of a let down earlier this summer so I have high hopes for this place. What's this place like? I asked PD but he said he never go. (Don't believe).

Its like the idiot falangs in Thailand that go around shirtless

Yeah, but this guy got more class than all the Soi Buahkao, Soi 7 and 8 assholes together.

Here at 1:00 he's sticking it to all fat lazy locals in the run down tourist places across Thailand and Malaysia, sitting in the shade all day, no energy,  just waiting for a fat wallet to walk by and save the day. He's right.

I must admit that I am not a great believer in masks. In the main they are not good quality and not worn correctly so any bugs can get through. That is not the point. He is trying to make a point that he does not like wearing them so he can do what he likes. Says a lot!.

I fully agree with you and the point hes trying to make.  I don't believe in mask, in fact they've been proved not be of any help. Here no one wore them during the whole pandemic and certainly not now,  so a not problem. However is not for us to decide to wear them or not in Thailand .He is provoking people which might be fun for viewers but could get him in trouble.

And if I find it confusing being (I think) a cisgender male in a relationship with a transwoman don't understand it how the hell is a god fearing patriot from Buttfuck Arkansas going to understand it?

This should clear things up, PD. No idea who the guy  is but I like his no nonsense fast talking. The opposite of the vlogging soi 6 drunks.

Try saying : new wood  doesn't burn in thai.
