I disagree. The society has been stacked against women for centuries and honestly I don't see that changing anytime soon given the way the far right is making making progress all over the world. Look at that shithead the just Argies elected. He's the latin version of Trump.

He's doing fine in Saudi Arabia, don't worry about him. I don't believe for a second he's without guilt.

Axl Rose of the band Guns N’ Roses was sued on Wednesday by a woman who accused him of dragging her by the hair, tying her up and raping her in a New York hotel in 1989.

What a shocker. Steven Tyler of Aerosmith is being accused on a weekly basis now about things he did in the past. Even Bob was accused last year for something he did some 50 years ago. A judge threw that case out.

And make organ trafficking legal. Its Donnie 2.0.

  4. The new world order in Laos.  And we're worrying about Russia.

Laos. It may not be as popular as Thailand, but it's definitely on the backpacker circuit. Take a trip to Luang Prabang or Vientiane, or almost anywhere in the country, and you'll see plenty of European tourists wandering the streets. Except for one place, a place that even the Lao people don't want to visit. In the far northwest of the country, right in the heart of the Golden Triangle and on the border with Thailand, Myanmar and China lies the "Special Economic Zone" of Laos. If you spend just a few minutes there, you'll quickly realize that it's an area that Laos does not control. Who does? You'll have to ask the Chinese mafia that runs it. Locals call the entrance to it the gates to hell. We were soon to find out why.

Those days are over. We can't afford treating in-house patients anymore. The free market drained our tax financed welfare and  put a stop to all benefits unless you have a private insurance.

Bob Dylan Delivers Another Stellar Show In Late-Career Resurgence At Capitol Theatre

I saw Bob Dylan at The Capitol Theatre on Wednesday, November 8, and it was an amazing experience, another terrific performance in a late-career resurgence. He’s 82 years old and performing like a madman on “The Never Ending Tour,” which Wikipedia says commenced on June 7, 1988 and has included about 100 shows a year ever since. Thousands of performances for decades, so maybe it’s not surprising that he has five in metro New York over the current two weeks.

...of all those artists Bob was by far the biggest influence and most important artist to me — but not just to me. I think Bob Dylan is the most important, influential artist of the modern rock and pop era, even above Sir Paul and the Beatles, who were singing “Love Me Do” before they started listening to Dylan. He altered the conception of what a rock song could be, he merged pop, rock, folk, blues and country to the point where the distinctions didn’t matter.

Sorry for being late to the party but the excitement about another bar is limited.

Rom, you must be over the moon. First Lily , now Cindy opening a bar in Pattaya. I don't know what you're doing fucking grannies in Philippines. You seen this, Rom?

Consumer debt has increased dramatically in Thailand in the past 20 years.  It's much easier for Thais to finance cars and motorbikes nowadays than years ago.

Sounds like the west. People are up to their necks with mortgages, interest rates increasing every month. Banks making record profits.

Are the thais still untaxed below 15 K/month?

Thank you for taking the time answering . My question was seriously meant, as there are a few members whos number 1 interest after ladymen is MONEY.

I know nothing about economics. All I do is calculating quick if my approaching ST will be 20 or 30 euros.

Like the naked draft dodger in Naklua posted yesterday.
Thailand is so fucked up in so many ways. If it wasn’t for the outstanding amount of beautiful ladymen they could go….. themselves.

Isn't that because we already get free 30 day visas on entry. I think they are just giving Russians, Indians and Chinese the same treatment.

No. Russians gets 90 days free. If I want to stay 90 days I have to pay for a tourist visa (not sure how much now) then an extension at immigration, 1900 thb.

If you watch the video Adam quotes a Thai official saying they want short stay visitors, not farangs staying months on long term visas which is what I need. So again , they obviously want Russians, Indians, Chinese, Taiwanese tourists on short stay holidays, not longstay cheap charlie ladyman chasing farangs like me.

    What do youlike?

This is what it comes down to really. I like dad rock. My age shows and I'm fine with that.  Hate K-pop, EMD , so called DJ's of any kind, techno, thai karaoke and Taylor Swift. I know P Diddy is a huge Swift fan though.

I do like some 'newer' stuff such as Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, The Strokes, Oasis.

Its not easing being a music fan in Thailand unless you like endless cover versions of Hotel California, Another brick in the wall, Zombie etc etc.

Rolling Stones suck shit in concert

Last year's gig was one of the best I've seen in ages. Seen the Stones 5 times I think, first one was Steel Wheels tour in early 90s. Last year's was hands down the best.  I couldn't believe how good these 80 years old guys were.

The  previous tour in 2017 was lame and old.

Gay (Just kidding). I grew up in Sweden so this group didn't go by unnoticed.

I was never into the brit posers like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Madness or any other britpop. When I moved to the states these groups were huge though. Everything British was the shit and I couldn't understand it.

Pistols and The Clash was before this. Basically punk.

Mostly yes but I'm surprised how many young kids attending Stones and Dylan shows. Caught them both live last year. Now, Van Morrison last summer was a senior citizen meeting. I was one of the younger (57) in the crowd.

    Absolutely. A legend.

Bowie and Iggy Pop deserves mentioning. The Ramones as well. Lou Reed, VU etc., the list is almost endless.

are not going to listen to stuff from the 1960s and 70s and even 80s..... unless it's a band that still is cool....like Led Zeppelin or AC DC or Guns n Rose's.

You sure about that? My 12 year old niece is on TikTok all day and I'm surprised she knows some of the old stuff I play. You better get on TikTok to stay up to date.

GnR still cool? Come on... They're pathetic now. Liked them in the 90s , saw them live a few times but today, no way. About as cool as Bon Jovi.

You think Bob Dylan needs to be on his Neverending tour? Stones, Springsteen need touring? U2 doing their Vegas residence right now? Isn't Mc Cartney still doing shows?

Kiss maybe, but they're never been a very good band, more of a business.
