I'm confused now as to the new location of the bar, Perhaps my age has caught up with me (and I'm not on facebook) so can someone please give directions?    I presume it isn't the bar and restaurant of the same name near Nuch Salon, down a laneway.

All my information is second hand, but a friend told me that they have to buy their own uniforms and equipment, and that they are "in it for their own reasons", by which he implied they were making themselves feel important, rather than actually helping people.  Like you I'd be very interested to know more about them, especially if you could rely on them if push came to shove, so to speak.

Forgive me for being old and, apparently, naive, but it seems a shame that some people read things into comments that were never intended by the author. I've been to Dark Side 3 times and enjoyed every visit (and Off made me feel 30 years younger on one visit), and all I want is to say how much I like the place - no hidden agenda here! I'm very much a loner (I said this once before) but I do read comments and advice from others for the future - I think being able to speak your mind is what this site is all about - as long as you say it in the right way. So, may Dark Side continue on the up and up.

I'm very much a loner, and searched Google for a site I liked (this is it).  I've gained a lot from comments and advice from other members, and visit the site regularly.  So, a big "thank you" all round.  I must add that I've enjoyed my visits to the Dark Side Bar.

I stopped in on Sunday evening early (6.15) and met Nat and Off; went upstairs with Nat and enjoyed the time together. the room was large, clean and pleasant. The bar was quiet and I stayed for a drink after with the ladies, and promised to see Off later in the month. I like the bar (and I'd met the owner before - great guy) and I will keep my word to be back. I'd like to thank him and the other contributors for their comments and photos.
