  1. Do you go there often?

Invariably I would to call in for a beer two or three years ago when the gorgeous Sofia was still there however, the treatment handed out to me on a visit in 2013 meant I was finished with the place.

Doubt much has changed and it's astonishing the place has survived.

  2. Strigfellows putting it politely is too radical for me, Obsessions is basically a clip joint where the few customers who do venture inside while running a bin soon regret ever setting foot in the place.

Babyboom I just can't be bothered with, Hi Boss is a health hazard.

In the capital I've just had the two visits to Cockatoo and that other place in Soi 30 something, think I'll be inclined to leave it at that, neither are for me nor is PatPong.

  3. Going back to the original Champions only format it shall be the reigning champions who automatically pre qualified regardless of their domestic finishing position.

Nottingham Forest is a great shout but I'd be inclined to go back further to the late 1950's when Real Madrid made a habit of winning the European Cup in consecutive years.

Don't think they were Spainish champions every year.......Mmmm.

  4. Yes it looks like the Balkans to me

The western hemisphere begins at the Prime Meridian (the line of longitude which extends from the North Pole to the South Pole, running through Greenwich, London) and extends 180 degrees west from there:

I'd go for somewhere on the Black Sea coast. Bulgaria?

It's a line I cross several times each week when I'm in England.

Yes route67, it reminds me of either the Mediterranean, Adiatic or Black Sea coast, an area I've started to investigate in recent summers perhaps Croatia, Montenegro or somewhere else in the Balkans.

  5. Annie Leibovitz"s cover photo of Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) for the July issue of Vanity Fair which is on the newstands on June 9th.

Vanity Fair have been taking image enhancement lessons from internet escort sites
  6. It's a very good price, but Etihad means a stop-over along the way.

I'm often renowned for watching the pennies, but I always pay the extra and fly non-stop.

Agree wholeheartedly, non stop to Bangkok every time for me.

  7. Some fabulous looking skank in Baccara and Sensations GoGo's both on Walking St, they were my two favourites last trip in Nov & Dec.

However, something for everyone in the Marine Disco after 3am without bar fines.

Also great looking GG's in iBar (below insomnia)

  8. I used to be very "cloak and dagger" about trips to Thailand, inventing stories about other destinations but theses days I'm much more open about Thailand as some where I like to holiday, although I also travel to other long haul countries at least once a year.

But when quizzed about which part of the Kingdom, I tend to nominate Phuket over Pattaya.

  9. Thank you PD but......

Apart from their owners propping up Manchester Shity FC I quite like Etihad as an airline however, when one factors in the inconvenience of passing through Abu Dhabi and the various security checks associated with that plus additional landings, take offs and waiting, I'm much happier paying 40-50% more for the non stop LHR-BKK using via Eva,Thai, BA or Qantas.

  10. Always a shame when they reappear to the old profession in Pattaya following a lengthy absence.

Yes PD, it was around Songkran 2007 I recall the late Raul Miguel aka Franck initiating Nikki into the P4P scene. This then fem boy was previously working as a labourer on the building site which now stands the Pattaya Bay Resort Hotel.
