A few days ago, I changed settings to make it more difficult for spammers to join LBR but it seems that a legitimate prospective member got caught up in the process.

Dan, I have now made it very easy for your friend to join.  Please let me know after he has joined and then I will tinker a bit more with spam suppression.

In the meantime expect quite a bit of spam. Please ignore it and it will generally be removed in about 12 hours.

The Like system should be functioning again.   

Ladyboy Review was designed to be a friendly, flame fee forum.  Please don't attack other posters on this forum, other forums, or others in the ladyboy scene.   

Personal attacks are NOT welcome here on LBR.

If you have a problem with a poster from a different forum then please register a new account on that forum if you want to vent.. Don't do it here on LBR.

To clear up disinformation in a post above, someone should tell Iain that his LBR account was hacked because it's possible he might have  other important stuff hacked such as banking apps.  

If he still has access to his LBR account then he should change his password.  If he does not have access then he should create a new account.

If in Why Not, please tell Iain that his Ladyboy Review account was hacked by Russian spammers.

LBR is designed to be a FRIENDLY forum.   At the very least if you can't be friendly, don't personally attack other posters.

While we don't encourage "alias accounts" we don't expressly forbid them in all cases as there could be some reason why you need to keep your identity secret.    

However if you tell anyone on the mod team about an alias account that you created we will delete that account.  If an alias account is used for trolling then the account will disappear rather quickly without warning.  This contrasts with the great deal of leeway we have historically given to known posters.

While we understand the curiosity of some members, neither BB, PD, or I want to discuss the internal workings of Ladyboy Review.

Bumblebee and Pdoggg are no longer involved with banning, hoovering, warning,  suspension and similar duties. They now only deal with the positive aspects of LBR.  If you have an issue which does not involve the punitive aspects of moderating you can still contact them.

If problems arise due to abusive posting by shitstirrers please use the Report System as I don't read PMs.   With the Report System you will not receive a personal response but I will be aware of the problem and take action if necessary.

Thank you to those members who respect our wishes regarding privacy. 

Our longtime posters don't seem to need rules as they just respect other members in a sensible adult manner.  Here are some hints as to how not to get banned.  Refrain from personal attacks.  No slander.  Don't be a cunt.

On behalf of all our forum members who enjoyed his posts and his bar, we are sorry to see him go. Frankly, I don't blame him. Why put up with abusive attacks?

Asking nicely to all members, please stop the attack posts.

Bumblebee and Pdoggg are stepping back from mod duties and will no longer be involved with the disputes resulting from the posts of keyboard warriors.  However, they will continue with activities that make LBR an interesting place to hang your hat.  

We have reactivated the Report system so you can notify me of posts that you want to call to my attention.  BB and PD did not like the Report System but it works best for me. In most case you will not receive feedback about posts that you may report. Please don't PM as I don't check PMs on a regular basis. Please don't start any threads about moderation issues as they will most likely be deleted without explanation.

LBR is a small friendly forum and we fully intend to keep it that way.

This is the Ladyboy Review Forum.  Our longtime posters are not particularly interested in comments about posters from other forums, especially negative comments.  Also members of other forums don't want to be talked about here.  

So what should you do if you have a problem with posters from other forums?

You can talk about it on the other forum.  If you are banned from the other forum then register an alias account.  When that also gets banned then start your own forum.

We understand that you may have legitimate gripes.  But please don't bring these complaints here to LBR.

And guys, please never post a monger's pic here without his explicit consent.

We are a small, friendly forum and we are determined to keep it this way.  Please respect the wishes of our core posters and our moderation team.  Thank you.

Gentlemen, there will often be differences of opinion on forums but let's keep things civil.  Please stop all personal attacks.  There is no place for that on LBR.

We are well aware that not everyone is pleased with the way we moderate and if you're a keyboard warrior then you probably won't enjoy Ladyboy Review very much and will vote with your feet.  Please don't threaten other members.  Please don't bait the mods as we won't put up with that for very long.  If you want complete freedom of expression then we suggest that you start your own forum and run it the way you see fit.

Guys, did you know that you can set up customized viewing options in which you can opt in to the content that interests you and avoid content that doesn't pique your interest?   So if you have little interest in sport or politics or a particular club you don't even have to see it.
