    Welcome to the Forum Clembones!  :hi:

     

    I haven't been to Bali for years.  At that time I was paying 300K.  They don't use the terminology "short time"  or "long time" like the Thais do.

     

    On Dynapura Ladyboy streetwalkers hang out on motobikes near the gay bars.  As I recall some of the names of these bars were QBar, Kudos, and Bali Joe's.  Sunday night was Rainbow Night at Double Six on the beach.

     

    This info is quite old.   If there's anyone who has more up to date info please let us know.  Our coverage of the Ladyboy scene in Bali and Jakarta isn't very good and hopefully in 2014 we can improve it next year.  So guys, if you know the Indonesian scene, please share your knowledge.

    Phuket Officers Take Down Taxi Drivers For Intimidation

    PHUKET: A sting operation involving an undercover Patong Police officer disguised as a taxi driver put two men operating a hotel taxi queue behind bars yesterday.

    Pamorn Maipuek, 40, and Narathid Wangaree, 27, were charged for threatening the plainclothes officer, who was attempting to pick up guests at Avista Hideway Resort and Spa at about 7pm.

    “We had a team of officers on standby and had Lt Sakson Prakapsin pick up guests at the hotel without a ticket voucher – as we wanted to observe how the taxi drivers would react,” Patong Police Deputy Superintendent Paisarn Sangthep told the Phuket Gazette.

    A hotel security guard stopped Lt Sakson’s car at the entrance of the hotel, so he could inform the hotel staff that the taxi had arrived.

    “While Lt Sakson was waiting, Mr Pamorn and Mr Narathid approached him, checking for a ticket voucher,” Lt Col Paisarn said. “Because he didn’t have a ticket, the drivers told him that he couldn’t pick up guests at the hotel. They claimed to operate the taxi queue in that area.”

    The drivers then started to threaten Lt Sakson.

    “They said that if he tried to pick up any guests in the area without a voucher he would have a problem with them,” Col Paisarn said.

    To prevent the situation from escalating further, a team of Patong Police officers rushed in and arrested both men.

    The men were charged with section 309 of the Criminal Code, which carries a penalty of up to three years imprisonment, a 60,000 baht fine or both.

    The Department of Special Investigations launched a similar sting operation in November (story here).

    In that operation, a taxi driver tried to force a DSI officer out of his vehicle, but no arrest was made. However, Somboon Sarasit, head of the DSI’s Bureau of Special Crime Unit 3, believes enough evidence was gathered to gain approval from Bangkok to add the case to the DSI investigation list.

    I haven't been to Siem Reap in two years. 

     

    The big change is they now have a Ladyboy Cabaret with 90 performers so at least there are ladyboys in the city.

    I only stumbled across a few P4P bars. I think one was Zanzibar, on a big wide street, and there were no ladyboys, just a bunch of rather unattractive GGs.  Maybe I'm confused because I see you found plenty of femboys there!   :biggrin:

     

    Late at night, around midnight there are ladyboys on the dark benches by the river.  From Pub Street just walk a few blocks to the river.

     

    In 2011, Siem Reap did not appear to be a good hunting ground but perhaps things have changed with the cabaret.  I would imagine you can get phone numbers outside after the show.

    Penthouse Hotel Pattaya

    Believe it or not paccers I actually when through the same thing a couple of trips later.

    Fortunately for me this farang manager had a lot more class and handled the situation a lot better.

    And this time I made sure to take a video just in case some asshole called me a liar.

     

     

     

     

     

    This is the way a decent manager would handle this

     

    Just so there is no misunderstanding, because we have received a few PMs...........

     

    J clearly states that the video is NOT the Penthouse Hotel.

     

    It is his example of a bad situation that he had at another hotel but he was impressed with the way the manager of the other hotel handled the noise situation.

     

    The Penthouse is an interesting place with rooms that include dancing poles and love swings etc.  Won't find that at the Marriot or Holiday Inn!   B)   :biggrin:

     

    So if you like a ladyboy at Pattaya Obsessions, bring her upstairs for love pole action!

    Visa Overstays

    They are cracking down on overstays in Phuket.

     

     

    Immigration officials have been combing through records and identifying foreigners whose names appear in the computer as having arrived in Thailand but who do not appear as having left before the expiration of their permit to stay. Undercover officers are then going out and finding them.

     
    This week a Canadian was arrested on Monday and a Briton on Tuesday.
     
    Today it was the turn of another British citizen, Andrew Ross John Jasso, 33, found to have overstayed by three months in Thailand case.
     
    Police did not have to go far to find him; he was arrested in front of the Phuket library at 9:30 am. The library is about 200 metres from the Phuket Immigration offices.
     
    An Immigration officer told The Phuket News, “He had been working for a boatbuilding company in Chalong, but the owner closed the business and went back to Britain. Jasso stayed, living in a hotel in Phuket Town.
     
    “This is not the first time he has overstayed. He was arrested before at Phuket International Airport for the same thing.
     
    “We have handed him over to Phuket Town Police Station for more questioning.”
