I must try to get around to taking some photos of the other girls tonight.  I've found them to be very photo friendly and not demanding a tip or a drink. Doesn't hurt to offer though, which is the way I like to roll with them versus bombarded by girls asking for drinks. Good atmosphere in the bar. customers can smoke or vape. the girls have to smoke outside so it really doesn't get smokey inside. They also play mostly classic rock and I've yet to hear Thai music.  You can even play what you like through a youtube feed.  

I had a nice evening at Why Not Bar last night.  Nam delivered on her promise to have more LB's on staff from my visits earlier this month.  They are also introducing some themes.  Last night was red attire.  The girls looked great.  they also have uniformed service girls much like old Guess Bar.

I had a good chat with both Iian and Nam (co-owners)  both are very accommodating. After settling in with my eventual bar fine (Michelle) I enquired about playing requests on youtube.  Iian set me up with the keyboard and away I went.  Really good atmosphere there.  The girls aren't pushy and found them to be very photo friendly.  I'll be going back for lingerie night on Friday. Can't wait to see them in that sexy gear.

I walked down Soi 4 to Nana last night.  More Africans than earlier this month.  How are they allowed to operate.  They were moved off of lower Sukhumvit recently and have set up shop along Soi 4 down past NEP.  Their pimps don't seem to be around after a sweep of them a couple months ago, but surely someone behind them.

I stopped into Temptations for a drink. Far more girls working there than a couple weeks ago during the mourning period which has subsided. Go Go's now open till 2 A.M.  I sat down and was quickly surrounded by 3 LB's who were all asking me for a drink before I could even get a view of the other talent.  Taliesha and old hand from Casanova is now one of two mamasons there.  She moved in as well.  I told her to move them out and that I will be doing the choosing who I drink with not them. She barked out to them I was just looking.  I ordered a SML and finally the girls got up on stage.  About 20 to 25 in all. Also had 4 or 5 other customers inside.  I saw a sultry blonde standing on the rail outside and I invited her in for a LD.  LD's are 170 and if the girls want to drink beer she gets a small glass with ice in it?  Sofia the LB sitting with was soon working on a bar fine.  Typically says she can do everything, but when I tell her I like LT she says she doesn't do that at least for the rate I pay.  

I guess Taleisha thought that Sofia needed her help and came over saying you can bar fine her? No shit really is what I feel like saying but I hit her with check bin please.  She gets the message and scrams.  Sofia is also former Casanova girl, who tells me she works for an agency too. No wonder she thinks she can get silly money.  I had seen and heard enough so left Nana just after 10:30.  Walked to the Nana BTS station. when I turned right on Soi 4 onto Sukhumvit I noticed a pack of freelancing LB's. Tee Tee former Cascader was among them.  As I walked towards the BTS I noticed only mobile vendors along lower Sukhumvit.  It was strange looking across Sukhimvit and seeing only people walking without the vendors.  The sidewalk vendors were lined up after Soi 7.  

I took the BTS to Asoke station and walked down to Why Not Bar. Easy to find. Jus look to you right after passing Soi 18 before Soi 20 and you can see the Why Not sign from Sukhumvit. No name on the Soi/alley. They have indeed added more talent and theme nights. Last night was red attire.  The bar is getting some walk by business.  I saw a couple punters come and only stay for a drink. One of the guys who was with another fella asked Nam (owner) if this was a ladyboy bar. she handled it very eloquently.  I bar fined one of the many Lao girls they have working there. Caught a Taxi back to Sukhumvit on my 2nd try for a meter.  Took me to corner of Sukhumvit and soi 4 where we jumped out with just a 40 baht fare.

Saw quite a few freelancers once again.  The big difference along soi 4 from a couple weeks ago was there was plenty of live music and bars visibly open after midnight.  Stopped in Country Roads Bar further down soi 4 near my hotel.  the band had just finished there.  They stay open until 2 A.M. but continue to 3 A.M. if still have customers.  The only LB they have on staff wasn't working this night. Mostly little chunker GG's. Glad that I brought my own.

I tipped the at bartenders with Tequila shots so they would play my requests.  I probably would have stuck around longer if they didn't keep filtering in thai music which only they wanted to hear.  Decided my time would be better spent in the room with Michelle.

Went to Baby Book 4 times earlier this month and after not seeing her I enquired about her whereabouts. Aparently she is back home, but will return sometime?  I was hoping for a repeat with her.  Also found out that she used to work at Pooks, so BB was not her first bar experience as earlier posted.

There were plenty of others around to choose from each night.  I would see them working early and then later when I went out. I imagine quite a few Nana girls were hitting Soi 4 after their shortened shift, especially if they didn't get a customer.  I haven't spent much time in Nana bars to gauge the customer impact, however Lucky Luke's, and Big Dogs were packed when I went out around 10:00 o'clock each night on my way to Why Not and Chaos 9 bars which stayed open to the wee hours of the night.  Chaos 9 even had a birthday party for two of the girls on one of the nights.  I think I left at 5:30 that morning.

I spent the last few days in BKK.  Nana bars were closing at midnight, however some sudo-alcocarts outside of Nana's entrance. Street vendors are no longer seen on lower Sukhumvit, hover after Soi 7 down to Soi 15 they seemed to be in tact or have moved there. Also saw a couple alco-carts past Soi 15.  

Chaos 9 and Why  Not bar were open past midnight.  Was told by Why Not operator that they were staying open until 2 A.M. and would go later if customers there.  I was at Chaos 9 until the wee hours of the morning three nights in a row.  They were turning off the front lights and closing the curtains after midnight but still had music.

It will be interesting to see what happens after November 14th.  I'll be back in BKK in about 2 weeks time. Hopefully things will be back to normal, but have to say that Why Not and Chaos 9 provided some good late night action in my visits.

You have Why Not Bangkok which sounds like the best ladyboy bar in Bangkok with 100 baht beers and a no pressure, no hassle atmosphere. 100 baht beer is pretty good for a Bangkok ladyboy bar.

Guys like a few options in the same area and Chaos 9 is a quick walk and seems like a great bar too; haven't been to the new location on Soi 22.  And even though my experience was that Cockatoo is an extremely pushy place, if you use the overpass to Cowboy what the hell Cockatoo is not any pushier than the NEP bars.

Yes the two bars are very close proximity and an easy walk. Makes it easy to check out the action at both, which should help both bars.  It would be good if there were other bars in Queens Park that had LB's as well.  I think we may see this whole area being rejuvenated with the homogenization of Nana.  I seriously doubt that Chaos 9 will be moving back to Soi 4 location after the renovation of Rajah. Rents are being quadrupled.  

Why Not and Chaos 9 are both staying open well past midnight.  Nana area bars are being shutdown at midnight currently. I was told by both owners they would stay open as long as punters wanted.  My next trip I'll look to stay in this area, most likely on Soi 20.  However taking the BTS to Asoke and walking is easy. 60 baht taxi back to Soi  2 and 4 hotels with bar fine going home.

Pink Panthers in Pink an independant team mostly from Naklua bars.

Dropped in to Why Not last night. Shared a few drinks with Natalie and Pear.  A couple of Lao beauties who are very keen, but not pushy.  Went upstairs to the pool table area for the first time.  Has three lounges that are perfect for some cuddles.  They will have short time rooms soon I was told. I also asked about hotels nearby on Soi 20.  One of the owners (Nam) told me of a couple but I have forgotten their names.  Have 7 LB's working currently and will have more soon.  Liked the ones I saw.

Look forward to my next visit and how the bar evolves.
