  1. Well am now now on my second week of lock down

My daughter has just recovered from the virus, caught from her BF on his return from skiing in Austria.

She says worst 8 days she has had for long time, raging temperatures, so hot making her sick, tired and the cough so bad her muscles hurt. She did not go to the Doctors nor reported it, so there are 2 more to UK totals. She is 39 and he is old being 50. I gather it leaves people very much knackered and slowing down.

I cannot help thinking about the comments on here in January laughing it off and I am having my holiday come what may - well amazing what a few weeks will do.

Now to one or two of you who, still are making the point about us oldies, going shopping 3 times a day instead of one etc., well if you were over 65, you would like most of the people I know, be very scared. Trying very hard not to go shopping at all. I have cancelled all appointments, even the doctors have cancelled my blood tests for next week.

My cardiac nurse, told me no pubs, no meetings and no sport. But you can go shopping wear gloves and avoid other people. After taking off the gloves, wash your hands very well.

Now of course a lot of us old useless people would not have to go to the shops so often, if many of the young people were not buying so much in one go. Crazy had to go to three stores to get some eggs. Tesco no bread, no eggs, no milk, no wipes, no hand sanitizers, no toilet rolls, shortage of veg and meat. The co-op the same, got everything I wanted from a local convenience store, hope they do real well.

The press have a lot of responsibility, they created the panic buying by showing empty sheves in London, while where I live no problems, two days later the whole country has empty shelves.

Also, someone had a pop at Boris, I am not a conservative, he got elected to Get Brexit Done, he did not expect two huge floods and the virus. I think he comes across as a Leader and gives an impression he is in control. Wonder what would have happened if May was still in charge or even worse Mr Corbyn.

So I wish everyone to be safe, keep well, remember to help us old useless old ones.

May be one day we can have a beer in a bar with lots of beautiful girly/boys around - well even us old ones can dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good segment from Wannabe, a reality Thai TV show. In this segment the host (a gg), wants to be a showgirl. This is because her ladyboy sister is a showgirl and she was thinking it was a glamorous and exciting job.

Of course in Thailand only ladyboys are cabaret showgirls, but she got permission from the Mirinn Show - a newer cabaret show in Bangkok to join them and film her segment. This has English subtitles.

I really enjoyed that very interesting wow some of the girls awoke the dormant parts of my groin

    thanks for posting

  3. Well i am semi-retired still run a small business at home and on ebay which has picked up in the last week

went to an auction last week spent too much, will this be my undoing, was over in Essex, so much more virus around London than in rural Wales.

I have changed my life style, did not go cricket nets on friday and did not attend umpire seminar on Sunday, will not go to denist or doctor for blood test next week.

Went to shops today - why are people so daft, why buy toilet rolls - have not heard the answer to this one yet. It meant at Aldi I could only buy 4 small cat food, crazy they had loads.

Hopefully will calm down in a week when people realise the supple chain is ok.

I will work from home, use the computer, watch netflix/amazon & TV, read my kindle and slowly go up the wall if I am to stay here for 3 to 4 months.

If I get it well , we will see how that goes, I am in the top 5-10% to meet my maker!

So yes my life is changing a great deal.

  4. UK up an over a 1000 now

if it had not been for the virus I would have been on a plane back on Monday

Now the cardiac nurse has instructed me not attend any meetings, not to go cricket nets, or to the umpiring lecture on Sunday and not to give any talks. So I am now house bound except for going to the shops

Thank God for my small business and the interenet

Think in UK more and more things will close down, just like my daughters holiday to Spain was cancelled and 5 Jet2 flights to Spain turned round and went nack to UK.

I had a horrible feeling this was going to be bad, and was told I was wrong and everything is ok no worse than flu - well for once and unfortunatley looks I am right#

So will not be back until September at earliest.

Things must be tough in Pattaya my friend Tong works in a haridressing Saloon near Action Street, when I ws over in January she was working 10 to 2am most days really busy, was back at room by 1600 two days ago no customers and is on the 2100 back to Burrinan tomorrow night. She is going home to open her small hairdressing saloon in the village and to help on the family's very small farm. She cannot earn get enough money to pay rent on her room. A friend of hers who runs a bar does not know how much longer they can stay open 'No customers'

Always thought she was drop dead gorgeous and was rendered speechless whenever she was close:blink:

Did manage to nab her one night in Marine however. It was late and the alcohol had rid me of all inhibitions. She took me home on her motorbike. Great night.

  6. an excellent young man who gave me sensible and most appreciated advice at a time of real mental strife for me.

Will always be thankful for his wit, humour and life style.

Love his topographical and Temple photos

Though he does strike as a bit of a naughty boy with all these LB he seems to have sex with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
