    ah yes QG...you remembered!

for anyone who doesn't to know to what you are referring... that was a great night!

Young Jimmy, who couldn't make it to a party asked Big Trev [Annat] to give Sunny a big hug from him much like he asked re August above.

Annat of course agreed to but got a little confused.

So Annat was sat talking when August came to the bar. He jumped up, grabbed her in a big bear hug and said..."Sunny this is from Jimmy in Aus!"

August was terrified as Annat is a big guy. She didn't know him from from adam!

Annat managed to escape an assault charge, but poor August took a long time to recover, with the help of valium and electric-shock treatment...

.....and disappeared from the scene for a long time.

Is it any wonder??! Poor thing!

yes she does Jimmy. will be there friday for the party.

Seriously, give her a hug from me and a chaste kiss on the cheek**. Say it's from Jimmy in Aus. I think she'll know who it is .. We've chatted this week on ThaiFiend.

(**Do not launch a tongue down her throat and dry hump her leg and say it's from me!!)

  3. My ideal ladyboy must have the following attributes -

    looks good in the mornings

shorter than me or at least not taller (rules out the amazons)

strong hands .. I tend to have a struggle with twist tops

    doesn't nick my aftershave

    braver than me with spiders

    cracks up at my jokes

    agrees with my politics

reads rather than watch tv and doesn't think much of social media

thinks I have impeccable music tastes and will listen to sad country laments with me.

I think dude Jimmy meant "chaps."  And I think he also meant to "mosey."  And, by "brand me a longhorn", whether Jimmy is referring to literally branding a longhorn steer or having his intimate way with a University of Texas football player (tight end?), I think he is in for a world of hurt either way.

Thanks for the corrections! (I'm obviously no real cowboy 555)

  5. I had a sleepless night on Xmas Eve and ended up chatting with Sunny on Fartbook messenger. Told me she would stay in Dubai for two years "or more" (even though she hates the food over there). Then on to Europe, work in Switzerland or Germany. Credit where it's due... she doesn't stand still, one of life's 'doers'.

Thanks for that. It actually happened - an unofficial truce on Christmas Day 1914. British and German troops meeting in no man's land, exchanging gifts and well wishes. A brief respite from killing each other, and one occasion when Xmas meant something. It wasn't allowed again under threat of court martial (both sides?) ..

Agreed. Its terror. Try to find a pic on social media of any thai LB or GG without a fucking deer ornament or a Santa hat now. The christian humbug is imposed on the poor thais, something they haven't got a clue about other than commercialism.

I'm going to binge watch Succession season 3 and not leave the house.

Covid has had one bloody good use after all .. our ready made excuse for not going anywhere !

  8. I am one of life's Xmas Grinches. Hate the bloody thing. It's all hype and humbug and just makes us buy stuff we don't want or need. I kicked a Santa in the arse today at my local mall .. and felt brilliant about it. You can't even get away from the nonsense on porn channels. Pornhub is full of sluts dressed up as elves and such like. Hate hate hate. But I've managed to weasel my way out of all Xmas Day socials this year .. I'm going to stay at home, get blasted on cheap cask wine, and listen to Norwegian death metal at full bore.

  9. I think we can all respect those who have made sensible and healthy choices. It's not really about prolonging life (who wants to live til 90 or 100? I don't!) but enjoying the quality of life you have now. But the key words there are choice and enjoyment. No one should force healthy choices on anyone because they're then not choices anymore .. they're forced compliance, which alas seems to be a feature of this Covid world right now. And if people still get enjoyment out of eating red meat, smoking, drinking alcohol (me, me and me) ffs let them get on with it... let them (me!) alone!

I've no interest in living long into the world the nasty authoritarians of the future threatens us with. I do hope I'm in the dirt before some idiot government introduces a "social credit" scheme, where you're ranked and rewarded for so-called good behaviour...

I'm just very very thankful I was born when I was (1961) B), would hate to be a youngster growing up in this world nowadays.

Same (born '62, though). Apart from youthful good looks and fitness, I can't think of any reason to want to be young now.

NZ's smoking ban is  another blow for the kill every last bit of pleasure in life mob. Hopeless. They would suck the fun out of everything. And it will only create a huge underground black market for fags, run by criminals ... attempts to ban anything that many people still like to do always end that way. Idiots.

  11. Only if Daryl or Steve had said "Hey guys I don't feel great performing this song anymore.." .. Now that carries weight, 'cos they're -you know- black and more importantly they're in the band. I can understand that Mick n Keith would take note of that. More commonly though this kind of *woke* idiocy comes from women who have no personal stake - Typically white women with useless sociology degrees or some edgy teenager living in a middle class home. They don't deserve a moment of anyone's attention.

  12. I was a Beatles chap first when I was a kid. Then at some point decided they weren't very exciting musically ("good in the studio, crap live" - Charlie Watts). I was definitely a Stones boy thereon, still am, though the last couple of years I started listening to the Beatles again and enjoying them.

Re the furour Brown Sugar - It's one of the Stones most enduring songs. I'd put it in my top three the best tracks they ever recorded. It's dumb canceling songs - especially rock songs. About half the canon of classic rock would disappear and we'd be left with only Justin Bieber and Herman's Hermits.

Brown Sugar will come back --- You can't keep a good (classic) song down!
