  1. Last month Paradise Club was offering 6 beers for 500baht (bottled beer, incl. sml!). Not sure if it's still on or not but worth checking if you're in the area. A very good deal considering it's a bkk club. You do have to inform them you're going for the promotion before you make the initial order so they don't charge you a per bottle price.

Edit: credit goes to BM Gutsy who pointed it out to me

  2. Get an entry level smart phone and make it your dedicated Thai phone. They're $100 - $130 and will enable you to have Line, TF, Badoo, email and a basic camera on you at all times. Tools of the trade my friend. You won't regret it.

p.s. sorry for the thread fuck. Glad to see they cleared the beach. Looks a lot more relaxed that way. Maybe time to get a tan. Friends here aren't buying the stories about spending all my time in museums and galleries when in LOS...

  4. Good work "undercovering" this one:

Pattaya Police undercover prostitution sting at South Pattaya Massage Shop

In the early hours of Saturday, Pattaya Police conducted an undercover operation at a South Pattaya Massage Shop where customers were allegedly paying for sexual services and using 2nd floor rooms to “complete the deal”. The operation centered on the Na Na Massage Shop in South Pattaya, which is known to cater for mostly Middle-Eastern customers. Two undercover operatives gave two of the workers 2,000 Baht each in exchange for sexual services in 2nd floor rooms. The operatives gave signals to Police as soon as the money was handed over and the workers agreed to have sex for money. Officers firstly arrested the owner of the business, Khun Gaeson aged 34, and detained the two workers, aged 28 and 38. Khun Gaeson confessed to allowing the rooms to be used for such a purpose and would take 400 Baht from every worker as a commission. Criminal proceedings against the shop owner have been initiated.

  5. Thanks for the update pdogg. For BMs traveling to Cambodia I would advise getting your visa online. It will save you a bit of time and hassle at the airport but more importantly it will save you a full page on your passport. With the evisa they simply staple the printout instead of using their page sized sticker.

  6. We've all been there buddy. It may sound strange to you but I actually miss that sort of excitement you're describing. Like any other extreme sport you get used to it after a while. Everything will become much easier and you'll build confidence but the adrenaline rush will also subside. Just make sure you keep practicing :) On a more serious note, maybe start the evening at one of the more laid back bars like Sensations or 69 Bar and team up with other BMs for some bar hopping. Most of the seasoned BMs I met are happy to show a newbie around and they usually get less hassle from the ladiz when walking into a bar.

  7. Thanks for the post on post-ops RX (does that count as double negative?). I've been with four over the years (one in a 3some that included a well hung pre-op that ET set me up with) but I still prefer pussy over plastic. The take away from this is that I have to keep trying, right?

If I am going to go that route again anytime soon it's going to be Jenny from The House on soi Yamato. I'll try and get a few pictures of her next time I'm in town.

  8. Thanks for the update EA. Can you point out where Ninja bar is located on LK Metro?

I'm sure you have but If you haven't then try New Plaza. It's very laid back and there are a few LBs around there. C2K is the only 'mostly LB' bar (sporting a gg for the Am I Gay thread contributors) but there are at least two other bars that have an LB or two amongst the staff. Beers are 55baht and although it's a predominantly GG street I never got any comments or had any issues when drinking there with LB friends and dates. Like any other gg infested complex the LBs really appreciate it when you choose them over the sows and you're bound to have a good time.

  9. My first Visa was triple entry and valid for six months which allowed me one more cycle than yours did.

When looking to get the next one I couldn't find any neighboring country that offered it. Laos was said to be the least conservative and they wouldn't issue multiple entry visas with an expiration of more than three months (=6 months in LOS).  I've heard that the Savannakhet office only grants up to three such visas in the lifetime of the passport. I'm not sure if that's true or not.

  10. I'll use this opportunity to write a quick summary of my experience with multiple entry visas. Pdogg, I think we had a brief discussion about this last year, when we all met at Baby Boom, and I suggested I'll post about it. A year late but still, here it is.

A multiple entry visa is an efficient and a relatively low hassle way to buy yourself up to nine months in the kingdom. The length of stay is determined by the Number of Entries the visa allows and it's Expiration Date.

The short version is that every entry equals a maximum of ninety days in Thailand but you're final re-entry must be before the expiration date.

Here's how it works: I got a three entries visa back home with the expiration dated six month from the day it was issued on. Upon arrival to Thailand I was automatically granted a 60 days stay (each entry on a multiple entry visa buys you 60 days). When my sixty days were over I paid a quick visit to the immigration office in Jomtien and got a stamp for a 30 days extension. So on a single entry I ended up with 60+30=90 days with only one visit to the immigration office. Once this ninety day period was over I did a visa run and upon my return I was again granted a 60 days stay and again got the extension in Jomtien. By now I was staying in Thailand for almost 6 months (90 + 90 days) and just before my visa was about to expire I did another visa run and was good for one more block of 90 day. In total I stayed 9 months on a single visa with 2 visa runs.

But it's not over yet because you can even get them back to back. After my initial nine months I went across the border to Savannakhet and was issued a new multiple entry visa. Typically in Savannakhet they issue 2 entries with a 3 months validity (expiration) but I asked and got a 3 entries with 3 months expiration. The third entry was useless for extended stay (because the visa runs out after 3 months) but I wanted to visit Vietnam so I needed this extra entry.

That's 15 months on two Visas.

Cost wise it was $120 for the first one and 3,000baht for the second one (in Savannakhet). Each extension in Jomtien's immigration office costs 1,900 baht. In the EU it's 90 Euros

Note that not all consulates issue the 3 entries type (Laos for example). Research online before you choose which consulates or embassy you want to apply at.

  11. Club 131. My maiden voyage was right after Frank split town and the bar closed down. I remember reading about it and admiring the pictures while planning my trip and then when I got to town it was gone?! Oh well, one door closes another one opens.

Looking at the thread's title I wasn't sure what to expect - for a minute there I thought maybe it was a typo and it was meant as 'if you could have one ladyboy bareback?'  now that would stir things up a bit... =@
