I don't know if you watched that game, but I watched the condensed game (40 minutes) on NFL.  They didn't quit, they didn't START.  Straight out of the gate the Rams crushed them.  Seriously, it was over in the middle of the second quarter. 

I guess you could say they quit, because obviously they had a lot of time to come back.  But the Rams simply never let up.  The statistics on that game were eye opening.  Gurley had four TDs by halftime.  If Wilson was not as mobile as he is, he would have been sacked at least ten times.  I think he was sacked 7 or 8.  It was domination like I can't recall seeing.  And remember, I'm a Saints fan!!!  555

Last time I picked against my Saints was in week three when they played at Carolina.  They trounced the Panthers and went on to win, what, 8 or 9 straight.  Do I go against them again?  16 points????  That's hard to pass up.

I was in a bar in Pattaya and I looked up and noticed they were showing a replay of the Raiders/Giants. It was nearly over and Raiders we’re covering the spread. Then Giants get a fluke score, I figured I’d lost. Then Oakland blows through NY in one play and couple of plays later gets another TD. So I think I’ve got it again. Until at the very end NY kicks a worthless FG, simply to ruin the spread. A true “you gotta be shitting me” moment. (sigh)

What to do?  Logic says pick the skins, but last time I did that they shit the bed against the vikings.  8 points seems like a lot in a divisional game.  (sigh)

Will they be let down after that loss to the Saints?  Are the Giants jacked because they actually won a game?

i can laugh for only one reason - my Saints. I think it was their greatest comeback in franchise history, and I’ve been watching them since ‘68. But what a game. Skins just kicked it for about 55 minutes. But Brees was incredible in the end, D did it’s job, and Saints even got the 2 pt conversion to send it into overtime. In pure football terms, the comeback was as improbable as the pats comeback in the super bowl.  Now I have an inkling of how Pats fans must feel about that game. Wow. 

Cant wait to pick this week’s five games!  

Saints play Rams in LA. Spread in that one should be interesting. I’m guessing nearly a toss up?
