    can we not have a box at the bottom of the screen which indicates who is online, you should be able to do it as you are using a pretty generic software that is used by a number of forums who have this facility, maybe a shout box so we can chat to each other while browsing as the chat function doesnt seem to be enabled.

    Finally got some free time to deal with some of these issues as I have been bogged down with issues involving the rest of the website, in particular the Review area.

    I "thought" I enabled chat, but obviously not. Will keep at it. :D

    I would be nice to actually see who is logged on at the same time, i see at top at this very moment 5 members logged on,

    It's at the bottom of the page:

    2 active user(s) (in the past 15 minutes)

    2 members, 0 guests, 0 anonymous users | Show by: Last Click or Member Name

    Note this does NOT match what's showing at the top of the page. So it's possible you could see 5 at the top of the page but you're the only guy browsing the forum. There may also be a time lag involving active users.

    My complaint is that my login information is not saved, despite clicking "remember me on this computer" every time I log in.

    This should now be reset to remember login info for 4 days.

    It is possible to choose a longer period but there is a downside to doing so as you can only be logged in at one IP at a time and if you were to forget to logout on a public computer then you would not be able to get back in.

    My buddy from Baker Street gave me some UK tranny info. He found a site a couple of years ago called www.birchplace.com , this site is predominantly TVs and CDs but in the adverts there is probably 40% TS/LB ads with pics. There are birds from all over the world, he even met ones from Bangkok and Pattaya on that site.

    You need to trawl through to filter out the shite but can be rewarding, he had had half a dozen off there and not paid for it, worth a try if your bored and horny.

    One of these days when I get some time, i have to email these birds and suggest they put up a Profile here. B)

    Most of the guys posting so far on our forum tend to be guys who are frequent visitors to Thailand but there are so many more guys out there that want a "taste of tranny" and for various reasons cannot come to the LOS and we want to help them hook up too.

    My buddy Fried Funk is in Cambodia and I suspect headed towards Phnom Penh so if anyone has any helpful hints for him please post now.

    Starving but before brekkie first things first.

    1) from the airport a tuk tuk should be 7 USD to the riverfront area. Perusing the scene on my way back I suspect that if you walk outside the airport u should be able to get one for 5 USD as that's what I paid on my return trip. I didn't bargain to hard with the drivers as it's a poor country and would rather have a good relationship with the drivers.

    I really enjoy riding around in tuk tuks.

    2) On all the monger sites the Flamingo seems to be the number one choice. However for a first timer (maybe FF is a PP vet, I dunno), I think the Paragon, on the Riverfront is a better choice.

    3) In many places the prices are in USD but if priced in riels, it is better to pay in riels. But best to exchange small amounts of dollars with streetshop exchanges rather than Western Union type places.

    4) When shopping for a SIM card, you'll need your passport and they take a photocopy.

    So are Indonesian ladyboys more dominant that their sisters in other countries, or is this clever marketing? Perhaps a bit of both....

    Extremely good question BB! I had been pondering this myself after looking at our latest profile.

    My first instinct was clever marketing, give the guys what they want. And even if they are not a professional Dom, they can probably give the guys what they want.

    But I also think they are somewhat more dominant than their Thai sisters. Now, I've only been to Bali, a Hindu island in an otherwise Muslim country, but anecdotal evidence suggests that ladyboys in Indonesia are not accepted too well by society. I have the impresion that part of the reason some ladyboys move to Bali is greater acceptance as well as economic opportunity.

    In Thailand OTOH, no problem using the ladies room but in Indo I think during the day most dress as men. So a lifetime of being a man 98% of the time would lead to more dominance I suppose than a Thai ladyboy living 24/7 as a girl.

    In the USA the ladyboy scene and s&m/b&d scene are somehwat intertwined, I used to go to s&m clubs that also attracted lots of crossdresers. The crossdressing TS did not seem particluary dominant but sort of suprised me that these two worlds would merge in the dungeon.

    Just some thoughts.

    Also interesting would be a comparision of Catholic PI, Muslim Indo, with Buddhist Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos but that's fodder for a different thread.

    Red Shirt Rally In Bangkok

    Thaksin promises democracy and reconciliation in phone-in to mob

    Fugitive ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra told red shirts massed at Ratchaprasong Intersection last night he would do everything to "bring back democracy, prosperity and justice" to Thailand.

    "This is the year justice must return," he said in a phone call from an aeroplane, whose location was not revealed.

    This year would be a good one for Thai people, he said, referring to national reconciliation.

    To the government, reconciliation meant trailing and capturing him, but to the people, reconciliation meant reunification and justice, he said.

    "Is it going to happen? I can't understand their thinking," he said. "I wasn't planning on speaking but the continued injustice changed my mind."

    The red shirts' patron spent a few minutes talking to the mob at Ratchaprasong, saying he was in good health.

    Pheu Thai MP Jatuporn Promphan joined the red-shirt rally in defiance of a court ban on his participating in a public assembly of more than five people.

    "My lawyer sought and received clarification from a judge who explained that I could rally if I don't make speeches about my case," he said in reference to his pending trial on terrorism charges in connection with last year's riots.

    Jatuporn claimed the clearance had come from Manit Sukanan, deputy chief judge of the Criminal Court.

    The Department of Special Investigation was closely monitoring Jatuporn's remarks and activities at the Ratchaprasong rally, DSI director-general Tharit Pengdit said.

    If he was found violating the ban, the DSI would promptly request for his bail to be revoked, he said.

    Maj General Wichai Sangprapai, commander of Metropolitan Police Division 1, said some 60,000 red shirts showed up at the two rallies at Rajdamnoen and Ratchaprasong.

    The gatherings took place within legal limits, he said.

    About 300 officers were deployed to keep peace and order, while some 1,000 anti-riot police were stationed at headquarters for any problems.

    By late afternoon, Ratchaprasong was closed to traffic due to the crowd.

    Three factions of the red-shirt movement took part in the rallies. The mainstream reds were led by Thida Thawornseth. Another faction was under Pithan "Pae Bangsanan" Song-amphol, while the remaining protesters were supporters of the late Maj General Khattiya "Seh Daeng" Sawasdiphol.

    The Seh Daeng group led by his daughter Khattiya marched from Ratchaprasong to the King Rama VI Statue at Lumpini Park to mark his death last year.

    Sirisakul Saikua, wife of Nattawut, one of the red leaders, was crying and said he had no chance to hold his eight-month-old daughter since being detained at Klong Prem Central Prison.

    The next red-shirt rally will be held on January 23.

    I have been using the internet more over the last year

    But we're new and so there are other sites that are better at that "at this time".

    Despite a name that will turn many of you off, Gay Romeo is also a good resource for ladyboys.

    In Indonesia, Date In Asia is particularly good.

    And of course Facebook, if you go to the LBR Facebook page you'll see lots of ladyboys. Two good buddies got the ball rolling for us on Facebook.

    When i have more time, I really need to private message our Facebook friends letting them know they can put up free profiles here. And also want to add a bunch of Brazilians as a friends. But Christmas season had so many mates in town that I'd wake up hung over many days so off the booze and into work for awhile.

    Headed towards the beach it is about halfway down the soi. A but tricky as it is up some stairs and set back a bit from Soi 7.

    I like outdoor bars this tie of yeqar when the weather is cool. And especially good if hanging out with a group where some like girls and some like ladyboys.

    Popped into Famous with some board members in the evening of New Year's Day.

    Seems Lita and girls had been drinking so they decided to play a trick on one of the new girls. They tied her to the Coconut Tree on the terrace and pulled off her panties. Think Fie Dollah has some pics which I hope he posts.

    Later that evening Fried Funk got some good snaps of the craziness going on downstairs.

    And even board memeber PDogg got into the act dancing on the pole with Lita.

    We know have our 3rd Balinese Beauty!

    I should say that lives in Bali because most of the ladyboys living in Bali are from elsewhere in the Indonesian archipeligo.

    In Thailand it's easy to meet ladyboys. In Pattaya your probably never more than a football field away from one. But not as easy in Indonesia, even in Bali, which makes LBR an important planning tool if taking a trip there.
