was in hospital once in Patts, without insurance had to use my credit card just to get upstairs before they would do any tests cost was 15000baht for doctor 10,000baht for nurse they said, paid it this was one night!! told them if they had thought i was going to have to go under the knife that i would have to fly home!! fecking nightmare never felt so alone and scared good news was it was something i had ate which gave me an infection in my intestines, thought it was my appenditics at first cleared it up with antibiotics thx God and was out next day, came back following day for check up another 3000baht...Total 28,000 baht lesson learnt i think....Regards Garry

This area of Buakhao has seen the development of 2 major bar complexes in the last year, the Blue Rahtree and Action Street.  A sign of the times perhaps of how the powers to be are planning for the future of the town, opinions?

Think maybe they(the powers that be) are trying to keep bars away from Beach rd etc trying to move them back out the way(trying to clean things up) or just hide it from the Russians, Chinese , Korans etc.....There has been a lot of money sunk into Patts and they want to have a clean image about the place, however there will always be a place for bars and LB,s as there are to many BIB with there fingers in the pot....moving bars back from the beach and soi 7-8 is not the same these days either, wouldnt be surprised if that went too....also soi6/1 has had aload of building work going on down that way....maybe soi6 years are number to? even though the music goes off there around 1ish would u buy a place down soi6/1 with all that going on at your doorstep? Please don't answer that..LOL.....just feel they are trying to move things away from beachend but really Action ST has not took off has it? I mean how many bars have come and gone in the short time its been open....I mean if Sensations was not up there how many of us would even walk up that way? although Happiness bar has tried to cash in on what Sensations has done.....be a lot easier for some if they just opened all LB bars in Action st and changed the name to Prev St.....oh I wish!! i never get any problems in pookswan but i pop in there nearly every night for at least one drink when i am in town, and am known, for me Obsessions, in Patts can be a pain if ur by yourself, u got to be frim with the girls in there or grab one sit her arse down and blank the rest, usually i say i with lady already and buy her drink, they soon go away....Regards garry

Amora NeoLuxe Suites Sukhumvit soi 31

This is a new boutique hotel in Sukhumvit soi 31 near Phrom Phong BTS, well about a ten minutes walk away. 

Any way the rooms are ultra modern as is the hotel itself. The rooms have a flatscreen Smasung tv, a samsung stero as well as a I phone/pod touch docking station There was a row of plugs on the wall and a ADSL and HDMI sockets, Their is a master control on the night table that controls everything in Lights and air con as well as a built in clock. The wifi was a bit iffy but got better after I rang reception and they sent a techie non English speaking guy up to sort it out.

The bed was big and comfy for a good roll around session with a ladyboy or two. A electronic safe that fits a laptop as well as camera. They even have an umbrella inside the wardrobe for rainy days. When you come out of the lift their are two free Pc's you can use FOC.

The bathroom was of a good size and a well put together design and interior. bath with shower.

Their is a roof top pool which I had to myself one day and I noticed the gym on that floor but did not use it.

Staff polite most speak English GG and ladyboy friendly. Same as most places they take the ladyboys ID and they get it back when they leave and they phone your room too.

Sorry I never made it up for breakfast,  in the four days I stayed here.

Heaven@4 Hotel soi Nana ok for a couple nights stay good bed coffee and tea in loom 4 mins from Nana round corner to Guess Bar good for action No problem with guests breakfast is shite just have toast and eggs myself and cuppa coffee the rest of it i give a miss....Regards Garry

I had changed my flight when last in Patts as wanted to stay on until the end ov my visa stamp 5th FEB.......fly emirates so changed the dates from the 24th Jan until 5th FEB and as usual told would have to pay at airport £75 for the change in ticket.Anyway get to airport nice and early flight for 8-40pm am at airport by 6ish after paying the £75 go to check-in and am told flight is full ask for upgrade full whole plane is full...now i am not a happy bunny ask to see manger he tells me very sorry sir we will give u a FREE roundtrip ticket to return to Thailand valid from 11th Feb 2013 until 4th Feb 2014 oh well thats okay says i thank u very much, but it was a nightmare coming bacl A380 flight time depart Bangkok 2am has some computer problems and they try to fix which they cant then told everyone must leave the plane as thay are going to have to turn off all the lights and under international law they cant have anyone on plane ........................so we take off at last around 5-30am miss my 2nd leg flight from Dubai due to this delay and am told next flight to Gatwick is not for 9 hours even though theres a flight leaving for Heathrow in 50mins time which i beg to be put on....sorry sir say thay but u have to go Gatwick as thats what u paid for what a nightmare!!!! looking at the good Denied boarding compensation......one complimentary ticket roundtrip from LGW to Bangkok.................................thanks very much.............now maybe pop out say March 11th say to 10th April mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sounds good...............Regards Garry
