Actually the fee for the ATM card depends on how much you deposit...The larger the deposit the lower the card fee...

I'm starting out in BKK.. any idea the closest bank near sukumvit soi 4..?

Also note that you'll get a better exchange rate if you have $100 dollar bills, but make sure they are new ones. There were some counterfeit problems with one of the earlier issues 10-15 years ago, and overseas banks will sometimes refuse anything other than newer bills as a result.

Also note that you CAN negotiate with them on the exchange rate, especially if you are changing $3-5k in dollars. Look at the posted rate in the bank, and ask them if they can give you 1% better. I know I got a slightly better rate my first time, but the second time I had to accept the posted rate.

My 8th trip is fast approaching and I continue to kick my self in the ass for not opening an account while I'm there. My bank charges me $5.00 plus the 150 baht sur-charge for each withdraw. I may bring a large sum of cash this time and exchange as I go..

The iphone 4gs was about 23 k THB before the new 5 was announced, and the iphone 4 was about 19k THB, they are probably less now. These are prices in the apple store at Central Festival in Pattaya, not tukcom or mbk, as they are copies.

The samsung screen is bigger yes, but imo no oher brand compares to iPhone.

Heaven@4 Soi 4 Really nice rooms with balcony ..3 min walk to NEP 1 min from Guess

Majestic Suite (my fav and booking for Oct) Suk & soi 4 Nice rooms but very small shower. Less than 1 min walk to NEP!!

I've stayed at all 3 and all are LB friendly with No charge for additional guest.

Thanks BD, my original post included a pic I took of Nay the very next day when we met for lunch, but I removed it with the fear she might see it here. I guess she felt comfortable with me the night before to show up with not a drop of make-up. I was having lunch with a Thai boy I had been wanking to for months before I made the trip..

We still made our way back to the hotel to have my way with "him", but a guy has needs.. hehe I couldn't just send him home.

I had asked this same question about a problem I'm having on another forum, but received no help (or even a response) from the MODs there.. At this point I can care less since the forum is going to shit anyway..

I'm having the same problem here for some reason. I'm set up to receive an email when I get a PM, friend request etc etc, but it doesn't seem to be working. It did work for awhile on the other site, but stopped without me changing anything. :unknw:

Could it be something to do with my email..? Has anyone had this problem?

I found a couple good fishing holes for those wanting to kill a lazy afternoon in Pattaya..

I first place is Sailom Fishing Park. I'm not sure of the address and terrible at giving directions, so just grab any motorbike taxi as I did, they'll know where it is..

I only caught a few small ones, but as they say.. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work...
