  2. This one strictly for Newbis since I assume all the oldtimers know and have stayed in these places, All are guest friendly an only steps away from NEP (Nana Entertainment Plaza)

1, Majestic Grande Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 2. The most expensive one (US$ 90) but the best one as well, very good service , nice rooms and an outstanding breakfast buffet.

    2. Majestic Suites Hotel on Sukhumvit around the corner from NEP, US$ 45, room quite small, basic, simple breakfast, good sevice.

3, Dynesty Inn on sukhumvit Soi 4, just a few steps away from NEP, no breakfast, basic service, additional charge if more than 1 guest, rooms basic.US$ 50

4.Ivory Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 4 about 500 yards down soi 4 from NEP, US$ 35, large rooms, forget about service, hotel shows its age, has breakfast.

Thanks for all the helpful information guys....
  3. I know everyone's got their own personal favourite, but here are the last four hotels I've stayed at in BKK:-

    Stayed here 3 or 4 times.Never disappointed.But of a hike to Nana,but always took a taxi

Thought I'd try this for a change, and was pleasantly surprised. All the perks of the above hotel, with a better location

And every night on my way out,or on my way back,it was great to stop at this place for a couple of strong cocktails."The blue sky van"

Stayed at the Aspen suites for two nights the last time I was in BKK.Not too far from Nana/Guess,and quiet for where it is.

Last but not least,is one of my favourites.Probably because it was the hotel where I had my first LB experience!(When Guess bar was in soi1!!!)Way down soi22,very peaceful, olde world atmosphere.
