Pulci Gorgon Posted April 7, 2022 Share Posted April 7, 2022 Restrictions on the entry of foreign nationals into Vietnamese territory are lifted from 03/15/2022. Pre-Covid 19 visa policies resumed: Reactivation of the visa exemption for 15 days for 13 countries. Resumption of the visa policies provided for by the Law on entry, transit and stay of foreign nationals in Vietnam of 2014, amended in 2019 and its implementing texts. However, a host institution (travel agency, school, company, etc.) is required to act as guarantor and initiate the visa application procedure with the Immigration Department. Re-establishment of the policy of visa exemption for foreign nationals within the framework of international treaties of which Vietnam is a member or according to the principle of reciprocity. Attention: Foreign nationals are requested to respect the health regulations stipulated by text N°1265/BYT-DP on the measures to combat Covid 19 applied to foreigners: In terms of testing: - Present a negative test result 72 hours before departure for a PCR test or 24 hours for an antigen test (except for children under 2 years old). If you did not take any tests before your departure, you should do so 24 hours after your arrival. If the result is negative, you can leave while respecting the measures to combat Covid 19. If the result is positive, you should inform the competent authorities and respect the health protocol. In terms of declaration of the state of health and health checks on arrival You should make the declaration of health condition before your arrival in Vietnam and download the PC-COVID application during your stay. In terms of monitoring the state of health and compliance with measures to combat Covid 19. During the 10 days following your arrival, you should monitor your state of health. If you have symptoms of Covid 19, you are asked to inform the nearest medical establishments, in order to better control the situation and respect the health protocol.
