Pdoggg
BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand will close hundreds of construction sites and prevent workers from leaving their camps for a month, its prime minister said on Friday, in an effort to tackle the country’s worst coronavirus outbreak so far. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-thailand-idUSKCN2E1198
JustSumGai
about time...now, open the f*ck UP for the western tourists with money to spend. MANY of whom have had the vaccinations. Not too sure trying to contain them all for a month is smart, just gonna spread then get out later. Either start filling buses to Burma or start a massive vaccination in these areas. I'm sure the first million or more doses have already gotten to the elites by now.
Pdoggg
The construction site lockdown has begun but many migrant workers got out of Dodge between when the lockdown was announced and when it went into effect further spreading the plague. Those who stay will get half wages and free food so I would imagine the construction bosses were encouraging people to leave.
