I thought this nation and their accomplishments /contributions to the world deserves its own thread rather than spam the different covid-19 threads. While no one was looking  they invaded Hong Kong again during the pandemic.

Heres one of their favourite hobbies:

The Lao PM has recently praised the work being done to finish a high speed rail link from the Chinese border into Vientiane. It will be a disaster for Laos as thousands of Chinese swarm in - Cambodia & Sri Lanka are realising, too late, what it means to deal with the CCP.

The biggest concern is the bat munchers getting their hands on all the gorgeous Lao ladyboys first!

Its obvious to anyone that is examining this situation that the coronavirus is likely a leak from a lab in Wuhan (accidental). If anyone doesn't already know the tell tale facts, we can list some of them here later.

But this may even be worse. Being from a lab, it may even be a bioweapon, designed to be:

1. Highly contagious,

2. Highly stealth (i.e. people infecting others for weeks even w out symptoms),

3. Highly disruptive (its not killing everyone, it mostly just disrupts economies).

The CCP has murdered more than any other group on the planet ever...by a multiple of 3x the next largest group which is the Soviet government, which is a multiple of Nazi government.

But those murders were mostly Chinese (about 50m to 70m). Now the CCP has enough technology, money and power to severely hurt the entire planet (7B people now in some way impacted).

As you get locked down, you are feeling what is coming in the future for the world unless the CCP is stopped. Callous disregard for life. Ultimate corruption of industry and governing bodies (NBA and WHO, for example), total obedience, pollution, disease, lying and deciet.

The CCP virus is not a blip, it is a symptom of our global future, unless some hard decisions and steps are taken.

Could not agree with you more.  What is really incredulous is the way the CCP talk retaliation and deliver sanctions to Australia when Australia called for a enquiry on How this Virus erupted, talk also about retaliation on the UK when we reversed our decision on Huawei and 5G yet there doesn't seem to be any talk on retaliation on the CCP for unleashing this on us.

The theory that China manufactured COVID 19 is a widely circulating conspiracy theory. One thing that the propagators of this theory cannot explain is if the whole world is brought to economic ruin - then so is China's economy. What is the point of making this "bio-weapon" if it disrupts their own economy too?

Yes, China was late in reporting that COVID 19 is able to spread human - to human by around a month or so. Yes, they did try to suppress the information at the early stages as the higher levels of bureaucracy tried to save "face", but going on to say this was a deliberate bio-weapon is a leap too far, particularly when scientists from so many different countries have come to the conclusion it is not man made.

Sure, infectious diseases experts state with certainty that covid-19 evolved through natural processes. But that guy on the ladyboy site says it's a Chinese bioweapon. WHO DO I BELIEVE?!?!?

First, there are levels of virology labs.

Level 4 being the highest rated. With the security and safeguards to handle the most leathel pathogens. Like the deadliest coronaviruses or bioweapons.

There are 2 such labs in Japan, 1 in Korea, 1 in Canada, and some in other countries too.

China has one Level 4 lab.

You guessed it. Its in Wuhan. Built originally by Chinese and French engineers until French engineers were kicked off the project and replaced by local contractors in China....which the French said were using medevil engineering techniques and were constructing something dangerous.

That level 4 lab was opened in 2017.

You have to ask yourself right there......if US had only one Level 4 lab.....in its 10th or 11th largest city.....lets say Austin and the virus started there, at LEAST you have to make the lab a suspected source. I mean....if thats the center of your most lethal virology lab in your country that JUST opened up, you have to investigate. If you are being honest and reasonable.

Wuhan is barley known to the world before this....a 10th rate city in China that happens to have the only level 4 lab in the entire nation and JUST happens to also be the center of the virus.

There is another lab near by. Its level 3. The level 3 and level 4 labs in Wuhan are at the world center for studying bat coronaviruses.

This is well documented. The lead scientist in this area is well know "Bat Lady" who has published and presented on this area. Shi Zhenli.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shi_Zhengli?wprov=sfla1

One of her main areas of research is how S Protiens can make coronaviruses more infectious for human to human transmission through ACE2 receptors. This turns out is the main method of infection of covid.  Covid structurally has properties of the 2003 SARS virus with s proteins added to the ssequence. Hence the dramtic rise in infectiousness of this strain.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5389864/

This is an older paper with her research and she presented publicly on this many times too, as well as a wide range covering bat coronaviruses.

The fable that this virus comes from a wet market is bullshit. First, the Wuhan markets do not sell bats. Second, Chinese scientists proved that the earliest cases in Wuhan had nothing to do with the wet market. They published their report until it was removed and those scientists punished by the government.

I guess with the analogy i used early of Austin being the source of the virus..... you can make up some stories of it being from a bat cave or a chicken farm or something in Austin, but if the scientists at the (hypothetical)  only level 4 lab in the US were working on the EXACT virus and the EXACT terrible properties of having the proteins to make it highly infectious..... an intelligent person would have to ask the serious questions at that point, right? "Could this have come from the lab"? Especially if Austin was the mecca for bat coronavirus research, the only level 4 lab in America and the virus started there. I mean, at least question it.

Well, the CCP gave their Poker Tell when in mid February, they announced new fast tracked laws for the tightened secrutiy of virology labs in China for preventing leaks. A curious move if this came from a wet market. Why fast track something like that at such a early point of the situation.

Then they sent a top army general to secure the lab. Perhaps to stop leaks and destroy evidence. Which this WHO investigation group is not allowed to visit for their investigation into the origins of the virus. Thats pretty much another tell right there. If you have nothing to hide, why block investigations?

There were two documented leaks of the SARS virus from Chinese labs in the past. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that this could be the same thing? An accidental leak? The State Department is on the record for sending cabels from the consulate in Wuhan after a visit to the labs back in 2018/19 that they were deeply concerened for the low safety standrads at the labs and the possibility of a leak.

But of course, we know China pays high attention to safety standards and is a high degree of transparency so an accidental leak like this could never happen, and even it did, they would never try to cover it up by blaming it on some dudes eating bat soup for lunch!

The sequencing of the virus itself has, from my understanding, properties of the additional S Protiens (which increase infectious transmission) and HIV (which attack the immune system), and is based on earlier 2003 SARS virus (which was also originally from bats). I am not a scientist and so this is just based on my readings. Yet these point to engineering of the virus from earlier 2003 SARS virus.

If you want to read....here are a couple of articles and there are many more.

First i post some videos. You should take the time to watch at least one of these. I meam, your entire world is being impacted by this event..... you might as well take some time to investigate how it happened.

Because if its true this did accidentally leak from a lab....and even worse, is a bioweapon, then what stops the CCP from committing another ultra negligent crime again in the future that impacts us all.

This is China's Chernobyl. Yet this time the entire planet....the businesses....the schools....hospitals....churches.....sports events, etc....are all radiated.

..take a look now....

https://project-evidence.github.io/

And if you really want to know how fucked this is......here are articles from 2019 (before the virus) about how a Chinese Canadian scientists at Canada's only level 4 lab (which is in Winnipeg)  was busted with her husband (also a scientist there) and Chinese interns smuggling highly leathel samples of viruses back to Wuhan last year. CBC article:

https://www.the-scientist.com/news-opinion/questions-surround-canadian-shipment-of-deadly-viruses-to-china-66254

And to answer RxPharms question (a lad who lives close to the scene of the Winnipeg theft)....China didnt purposefully leak it. It was an accident. No country....not Chinese or American would release this on purpose during this time. Maybe in other circumstances.....but definitely not this time. Too much to lose. It was an accident.

But after millions of deaths (maybe tens of millions over nex few years)? Trillions of dollars lost......who is going to pay for that accident???

How about this to rub salt into the wound....

The government in China knew of human to human transmission and they locked down Wuhan from travelling out of Wuhan to other parts of China and they locked down the entire country from intercity travel. Yet they continued to permit those in Wuhan and other cities to travel internationally.....hence the spread of the virus.

And when certain countries like the US blocked travellers from China, they immediately protested foul and accused those decisions as being racist. Again callously allowing other nations to become deeply infected.

We all witnessed this with our very own eyes.

More for you to think about as you consider what really happened here and you are locked in your home and your dollars in your bank account are disappearing. Bat soup is not the culprit.

Coronavirus did come from bats, say WHO scientists sent to Wuhan

https://www.yahoo.com/news/coronavirus-bats-wuhan-world-health-organization-112507142.html

August 4, 2020, 1:25 PM

The coronavirus outbreak came from bats and was probably passed to humans through another intermediary animal "host", World Health Organization (WHO) scientists have concluded.

The team of WHO experts visited the city of Wuhan, understood to be the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic, to probe the origins of the virus and how it spread across the world.

Scientists believe the virus jumped from animals to humans at a “wet market” in Wuhan.

Rxpharm, what is your opinion on where ( country)  Covid-19 originated from?

There still needs to be more investigation. There was a patient in France who was found to have been infected by COVID 19 - with his doctor estimating he was exposed sometime between Dec 14 - 22, which was four days before WHO's China country office was notified of pneumonia of unknown causes being detected in Wuhan.

The patient had not been outside France prior to his infection - two of his children did contract COVID 19, but his wife did not show symptoms. Interestingly his wife worked at a supermarket near Charles De Gaulle Airport and it is speculated that she might have been exposed to an overseas visitor and became an asymptomatic carrier.

This story was on BBC World News, May 5, 2020.

The same article also reported that a post mortem examination of a patient in California showed that the first COVID 19 related death in the US happened a month earlier than thought.

it is easy to speculate and point fingers before all the facts are known. I think it will take a while before we know the whole story of where COVID-19 came from and where it started.

Ok, thanks for your answer.

Dec 14-22 is too late, imo. I think it was around before that, November or even October and started in Wuhan.

I tested negative for antibodies last week, btw. I am pretty sure I had it either in December or May. Maybe I did.

I only know one person who have antibodies. She was very sick with high fever, body pains, cough and  most distinguishing symptoms were a complete loss of taste and smell. She, in her forties,  recovered fine after two weeks with no persisting symptoms.

As for the WHO, its up to you whether you want to believe their statements or use your own critical thinking capacity to make your pwn determinations. But so far, I have trusted my own research:

1. WHO in January said: NO HUMAN TO HUMAN TRANSMISSION (parroting what China said).

SITH did own research and stocked up on N95 and took other protective measures in January because he knew WHO was wrong or lying.

2. WHO in Feb and March and April said: MASKS DONT WORK.

SITH knew that was bullshit and a lie. Those that followed WHO on that one, good luck.

3. WHO in July said: Covid is not an airborne disease.

SITH laughs at that too.

4. WHO in August says this came from a wet market.

SITH says "IF WHO SAYS IT, IT MUST BE TRUE!"

Yup. Lying probably.

Correctomundo. They don't.

Its very clear masks work.

Nothing is 100%. Its somewhat akin to condoms. If you don't use them properly or not at all, exposure is higher. Used properly everytime, they are "safer".

when all parties are wearing masks, definitely they have made a big difference. We saw that in China, HK, Taiwan, South Korea and East Coast US.

How China locked down internally for COVID-19, but pushed foreign travel

April 30, 2020, 10:55 am IST Sandip Sen in What happens if?|India, World| Source: The Economics Times India

There is new evidence to show that China locked down all domestic traffic internally by end January 2020 but pushed to open foreign travel till end March. Data from Tom Tom traffic index, a traffic location site that covers 416 cities across 57 countries show that as a result of this strategy, China, intentionally or otherwise, was able to lockdown its cities unknown to the world. While this reduced the spread of the Corona virus within China, China’s aggressive foreign travel policy lead to a virus explosion worldwide. Here is the chronological events of what happened with the requisite traffic data from 10 major cities globally and the statements from Chinese leaders that will help readers reach their own conclusions.

Beijing & Shanghai were isolated by Jan, domestic flights curtailed

The COVID- 19 virus first surfaced in Wuhan in the last week of December. On 31 December 2019 Chinese health officials first reported to WHO that 41 patients in Wuhan had contracted a mysterious pneumonia that was not responding to conventional treatment. As most patients were from the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market it was closed on the 1st of January. On the 7th of January Chinese scientists identified the virus as a novel Coronavirus later termed as the COVID-19 virus. On the 11th of January the virus claimed its first life in Wuhan city. On 13th January Thailand reported the first case of Coronavirus outside China. On 20th of January Zong Nanshan the scientist named by China to lead the battle against the virus stated ” Now we can say that it is certain that it is a human to human transmission phenomenon”.

On January 22 at a meeting to decide the measures to be taken, WHO was not able warn the world of the severity of COVID-19 apparently because of resistance from Beijing. (WHO referred to it as “divergent views”) On January 23 Wuhan city was placed under quarantine and two days later the entire Hubei province was locked down. The Chinese state machinery was harnessed to enforce an unprecedented quarantine on 50 million people across 15 cities. In the last week of January domestic flights from Hubei to other parts of China was stopped and restrictions on traffic movement in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai were initiated. This was the time of the Chinese New Year when offices and schools are normally closed and it is also the prime tourism season for the Chinese. On the 31st January Italy fearing a major outbreak of Coronavirus from hundreds of tourists arriving from China closed all flights to and from China.

China’s traffic density below 10% in Feb, but criticises global traffic curbs

China’s vice-minister of foreign affairs Qin Gang met Italy’s ambassador to China Luca Ferrari in Beijing following the flight ban. “Italy’s decision to stop flights without contacting China in advance caused great inconvenience to citizens of both countries. Many Chinese are still stranded in Italy,” the foreign ministry said on its website the following day. The U.S. issued a travel advisory against China travel on the 2nd of February but did not ban all services. While Chinese authorities limited domestic flights from Wuhan to other Chinese cities like Beijing and Shanghai in an effort to contain the outbreak in January, it urged international carriers to maintain their flying schedules. The Civil Aviation Administration of China stated “In order to meet the needs of passengers in and out of the country and the international transport of supplies during this special period … airlines [are required to] … continue transport to nations that have not imposed travel restrictions.”

China’s assertion that all was well for international travel was supported by the WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at the opening of the agency’s Executive Board meet on the 3rd February. He said ” There is no reason for measures that unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade. We call on all countries to implement decisions that are evidence-based and consistent. WHO stands ready to provide advice to any country that is considering which measures to take,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying criticised the US advisories saying “The U.S. government hasn’t provided any substantial assistance to us, but it was the first to evacuate personnel from its consulate in Wuhan, the first to suggest partial withdrawal of its embassy staff, and the first to impose a comprehensive travel ban on Chinese travellers”

While China continued to protest against international travel bans it successfully quarantined Wuhan and other affected cities. The total domestic lockdown of Hubei province and the flight ban imposed inside China had immediate effect. As per data from Tom Tom traffic index Wuhan had a traffic density of 60% in January while Shanghai and Beijing had nearly 80% density. After the total lockdown the average traffic density fell to below 10% in Wuhan and Shanghai during February and below 5% in Beijing. While implementing a total domestic lockdown in February, China kept assuring the world that the situation was not serious and fully under control.

WHO declares global pandemic belatedly in March, nations unprepared

China kept on the facade of hiding the severity of the virus attack till mid March. On the 11th of March WHO belatedly declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. By that time the number of cases globally had grown thirteen fold. As per WHO website more than 118,000 cases had been reported in 114 countries, and 4,291 people had lost their lives when the global pandemic was declared. That is when the rest of the world started preparing for a suitable response to the pandemic, nearly two months after China.

It was only after a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump on March 27th that Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to curb international flights from China. China’s Civil Aviation Administration stated after the discussion “that 90% of international flights would be temporarily suspended. The number of incoming passengers would be cut to 5,000 a day, from 25,000. China has also ordered local airlines to maintain only one route per country, once a week, as of 29th March”. By the end of March COVID-19 had become a full blown global crisis with nearly 10,000 deaths in Italy, Spain and the US and over 5000 in Iran and the UK which was much more than those dead in China.

As per data from Tom Tom traffic index the traffic density in Wuhan remained low at around 10% of the normal traffic in March while the major business centres like Beijing and Shanghai which had less than a few thousand cases of COVID-19 and half a dozen deaths showed partial recovery of traffic to around 40%. The rest of the world oblivious of the need for total lockdown took time to react. The traffic remained high at over 60% in major cities like Rome, Milan, Madrid, Paris, London, New York, New Delhi and Mumbai during March.

Australia calls for investigation, China and WHO must be made accountable

The Tom Tom traffic data index shows that in all other global cities like Rome, Milan, Madrid, Paris, London, New York, New Delhi and Mumbai the traffic density dropped to 10% only in the month of April when most nations went under lockdown. This was a clear two months after China went in for a domestic lock down and allowed the virus to proliferate to international destinations through human contact. The traffic density in Beijing and Shanghai rose to over 60% in April showing that the Chinese cities and its economy was back to normal functioning.

While China limited its losses to below 5000 by end April 2020, the US had lost 60,000 lives, Italy, Spain, France and UK above 20,000 each and the world saw over 200,000 deaths that was nearly doubling every fortnight. So though the virus had originated from China which initially infected citizens from 27 nations, because of China’s diabolic international travel policy it spread rapidly to a totally unprepared Europe, mainly Italy and Spain and thereafter to the rest of the world becoming a global pandemic. So weather the virus was produced in the Wuhan Virology Institute as an exercise of bio-terrorism or simply arrived unintentionally due to bat and pangolin infected blood from its exotic animal markets in Wuhan, China is answerable for the way it allowed the virus to spread.

Australia has called for an international investigation into the spread of COVID-19 and all nations of the world including India must back the move. Also it has been suggested that the leadership and the action of WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus needs to be probed. All nations including India need to support such an investigation for it is better to be safe than sorry. DISCLAIMER : Views expressed above are the author’s own.

China's days as 'the world's factory' are over says iPhone manufacturer

https://www.yahoo.com/news/chinas-days-worlds-factory-over-173511080.html

The world’s biggest electronics manufacturer has called time on China as the centre of global production, saying the country’s days “as the world’s factory are done”.

Foxconn, the Taiwanese giant best known for assembling Apple’s iPhones, said it was moving more of its production outside of China amid rising tariffs on goods made in the country. Young Liu, the company’s chairman, said that while China will be a major production hub, the country’s “days as the world’s factory are done”.
