Miss Cherry denied the charge claiming self defence, claiming that the 36 year old American initially attacked him as he resisted being dragged into the bar. His girlfriend told police that before the incident he had consumed cocaine and smoked cannabis. PATTAYA – August 23, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 03.00 am Pol.Lt.Kwanchai Numkanisorn-investigation inspector- was notified that a foreigner was dead in the Spanish Place Pattaya condominium on the 6th floor. After notification the police officers, doctors from Bang Lamung hospital and Sawang Borriboon rescue team rushed to the scene. At the scene the officers found a room with was covered in blood stains and the body of Mr Jason William Flannery aged 25 from England. The body was naked and on the floor in the middle of the room. The body had been stabbed in mouth, cheek, chest and other places. There was also a syringe on a sofa and a cannabis roll-up cigarette. Upon questioning Ms.Janjira Buapae aged 23 the deceased’s girlfriend she claimed that they had been in a close relationship for year. After she finished work she went back to his room and found him in a serious discussion with his friend and Thai girlfriend. Later Mr Jason mixed some cocaine with water and drank it before smoking a cannabis cigarette. After that Mr Jason tried to attack Ms.Janjira. Later his friend and girlfriend suddenly fled before Ms.Janjira decided to also flee so the neighbour notified the police. Mr Jason then ran into a glass door cutting himself severely before falling to the ground where he was found dead. However the cause of death was still unknown. He is now on the run and wanted by Police for murder. Police were called to the Pachawan Place Apartments in North Pattaya on Friday following the discovery of the body of Khun Achara. It appeared she had been strangled and was also smothered by a floor mat. It was estimated she had been dead for at least 5 hours according to a Forensic Doctor. The body was found by Khun Pacharagiti aged 34, a friend of the victim’s Brother, who was concerned after his sister failed to answer the phone. He lives outside of Pattaya and asked his friend to check the apartment of Khun Adun, a Pattaya Tour Guide and the victim’s Husband, who lives apart from his wife. She was visiting Khun Adun and normally lives in Phayao Province in North Thailand where she cares for their young child. Police named Khun Adun as the prime suspect in the murder case after he sent a text message to the victim’s Mother confessing to the murder and confirming he would give himself up to Police soon. pdogg Posted September 13, 2014 Share Posted September 13, 2014 On Friday Morning Police were called to Pattaya Beach close to the entrance of Walking Street to investigate reports of a body which was floating face-down in the water, close to the old pier. The body was recovered and was described as a pale skinned Thai male aged in his forties. He was wearing combat shoes and blue trousers and a T-Shirt was found nearby which suggested the man may be or may have been a Police Volunteer at Suvanarbumi Airport in Bangkok. The man was carrying no forms of identification and is thought to have died approximately 5-6 hours prior to the discovery. Police suspect the man may have worked as a Security Guard somewhere in Pattaya and may have fallen off the sea wall into the water at High Tide. He may have been intoxicated or may have suffered an acute medical problem, according to Police. pdogg Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Shagwell Mansion Suicide The body of a 70 year old German man was discovered by a cleaner at a Central Pattaya Apartment complex on Thursday afternoon and Police are confident that the man took his own life, based on evidence found at the scene.Police and medics were called to Shagwell Mansions in Soi Arunothai off the Central Pattaya Road, just before 2pm on Thursday, and were directed to a 3rd floor apartment, occupied by Mr. Peter Hans-Jurgen Stockmar.He was found by a cleaner, lying on his bed, and it was clear that both his wrists had been cut. The knife that the victim was suspected of using was lying on the floor next to the bed in a pool of blood.Staff at the Apartments confirmed that Mr. Stockmar checked in on 27th July and was due to check out on 3rd October. He was known as a quiet man, who would leave his room on rare occasions. When he did leave, he would often drink alone in a bar at the ground floor of the complex. He was last seen at 10pm on 16th September and showed no signs of distress.Police can only speculate that financial or relationship issues led him to take his own life. The man was intercepted by Police in Soi 19 off Pattaya Third Road and it was clear from the offset that they were dealing with a man who appeared to have mental health issues. Khun Ittipon aged 22 was detained pending a search of his motorbike. Inside the seat compartment was 4 pairs of knickers and 2 pairs of Boxer Shorts, which he confessed to stealing from locations around Pattaya. To the astonishment of officers, Khun Ittipon further revealed that he had an obsession with stealing male and female underwear and had been doing it for at least 8 years. In the privacy of his home he would place the items over his face and then masturbate. Checks by Police revealed that the man had a history of Mental Health issues and had been treated in Mental Health Hospitals in Bangkok. Khun Ittipon confessed to earlier revealing his genitalia to the Massage Shop Manager, Khun Porntip aged 37, and subsequently apologized to her for his actions. In the early hours of Sunday, a 70 year old British resident of Pattaya suffered a suspected broken arm following an altercation with a car park attendant who was unable to collect a 40 Baht parking fee from him.The incident occurred at a car park opposite the Diana Dragon Apartments in Soi Buakhao just before 2.30am, which was under the control of Khun Tosapon aged 19.Mr. John Hayward reportedly parked his Bronze Chevrolet car in the car park and left for a short moment to purchase something and then returned to his car. Khun Tosapon claims he approached Mr. Hayward and requested the 40 Baht which was not forthcoming. He further explained that Mr. Hayward attempted to drive away which enraged the parking attendant who picked up a piece of wood and struck Mr. Hayward’s car. Mr. Hayward stopped his vehicle and confronted the attendant who then struck the elderly man across his arm.Police arrived and arrested the teenager who was later charged with assault. The Chinese man agreed and whilst he was undergoing his jolly good time, Kay was busily removing the gold necklace worth 90,000 baht from around the tourist’s neck and then ran off into the night. Kulik, who was drunk, confirmed that the two ladyboys were the suspects who earlier stole his wallet containing 3,200 baht from his pocket, after they approached him on Beach Road thinking being in a drunken state he was easy pickings and began their silly lovey-dovey antics on him. It was unfortunate for them as a police volunteer witnessed the crime and stopped them in their tracks.
