Add the fact that the bars may be closed for Mothers Day, and it should be a rocking alternative for a night out. As yet no firm decision has been made on the bar closures, but if they are to close, the La Bamba girls have said they will also attend the Morlam.

Sounds like Sunee Plaza must of been one of their targeted sweep areas (29 underage men employees I'm assuming).

For those who search for Femboys in Sunee and other places in Pattaya - be very careful and the same holds true for lbs. Check their age before getting involved.

Rogue ladyboys on Beach Road and Soi 13/2

2 Ladyboys were detained after a wallet was taken from a 25 year old Russian Tourist on Pattaya Beach in the early hours of Saturday.

Police were called to the front of Soi 13/2 where members of the public had detained Khun Oorasai aged 36 and Khun Opchoy aged 25. Both are known to Police and Khun Opchoy is currently on Police Bail relating to an earlier drug offence. He is also wanted on an arrest warrant after he failed to report for compulsory conscription to the Thai Armed Forces after being chosen by lottery, to serve a minimum term of 2 years military service.

The suspects are accused of stealing a wallet containing 2,240 Baht from Mr. Rashid Amitov who was walking back to his Hotel with his Russian Girlfriend when the incident occurred.

As the suspects attempted to escape on their motorbike after committing the street robbery, they were chased by the Russian Victim who was able to force the pair off their bike allowing others to assist in their detention pending the arrival of Police.

Both are now in Police custody and the wallet and its contents were returned to its rightful owner.

A new state-of-the-art Security & Emergency Center is set to be completed within 3 months at a cost of 3.5 Million Baht which will be covered by Pattaya City Hall.

Plans for the new center, which will see cooperation between various Police Divisions, rescue services and Pattaya City Hall, were initially drawn-up earlier in the year by Police General Wutti, Senior Consultant to the National Police Commissioner, who was in Pattaya on Wednesday afternoon to receive a progress report.

Present at the meeting were representatives from Pattaya Police, Marine Police, Tourist Police, Immigration Police, Pattaya Sea Rescue and Pattaya City Hall.

The location of the new center will be at the old pier which is situated at the Southern end of Pattaya Beach and just before the entrance to Walking Street. It will ensure a quick response to any marine emergencies and any problems which may occur on Pattaya Beach and will be operated 24 hours a day.

The center will be open before the festive period in December which normally sees a peak in tourist numbers and incidents at sea and on land involving tourists.

In the early hours of Thursday, Police and rescue services were called to the Melody Pub located in Soi 16 off Walking Street to investigate reports of a “Samurai Sword” attack on a 24 year old man.

At the scene was Khun Pongrapee who had sustained serious lacerations to his left hand. He had lost a considerable amount of blood and collapsed moments after Police arrived.

A friend revealed to Police that he had gone to the Pub with a female companion known as “Ying”, who was in a relationship with another man. Her boyfriend arrived at the Pub with 4 others friends and confronted Khun Pongrapee who was dragged outside and attacked with the sword by the jealous boyfriend.

The attacker and his companions fled the scene and are now being sought by Police as a matter of urgency.

An unfortunate tourist was attacked by a taxi driver with a similar sword in Bkk a while back.  Seems there are a few of these weapons stashed away waiting to be used, something to keep in mind if you get into a confrontation with a local.  They do like their blades it appears.

Just after 4am on Monday a 18 year old man was arrested after a doorman working for a Walking Street Bar was stabbed in the stomach by the suspect who had been involved in a long-standing dispute with him.

Police converged on the area and arrested two men, one of them was later released without charge. Khun Apichart aged 18 was accused of stabbing Khun Gitidrai aged 19 at the front of Soi 15 on Walking Street.

The pair were known to be involved in a long-standing feud which became even more serious on Monday Morning after the suspect found out that the victim was in a secret relationship with the wife of his best friend.

Khun Apichart admitted to Police that the time was right to escalate the dispute between the pair and reportedly planned to stab the victim during the encounter.

He was later charged with attempted murder and awaits trial.

Pattaya was unbelievably quiet last night, even for low season.

I counted a total of 4 customers in the bars in the whole of soi yamato, and this was just after midnight. La Bamba had 1 customer all night (not counting myself and brother 67), and when we arrived at Sensations, we doubled the attendance figures for the evening!!

The House had nobody all night, and have yet to see anybody in Stringy's.

I hope it picks up over the next few days, the girls are getting hungry, and at this rate there will soon be a queuing system in operation at my door.

Yikes.

Bad news, especially as it was not even raining last night.    Have to say, I thought the same when I came down Soi Bukhuea for The party the other night.   There was hardly any traffic - not even motorbikes and the crossroads with Soi Diana was easy - nothing there.

Just before 5.30am on Saturday Police and rescue services were called to Walking Street in South Pattaya to investigate reports of a British Man who had fallen from a balcony of a Nightclub.

The incident occurred at the Play Party Club located opposite the Marine Discotheque on Walking Street and resulted in serious injuries sustained to Mr. Stephen Paul Truscott aged 25 who was in an unconscious state before being rushed to Hospital. Visible injuries to his head were seen and Mr. Truscott sustained a split lip.

It was known that Mr. Truscott was drinking inside the Nightclub prior to the incident and appeared to be alone and in a heavily intoxicated state. Little more is known why he fell over a balcony of the club and the full extent of his injuries are still being assessed by medics.

She is working in Z Bar Soi 6 if anyone wants to pop in and say hello.  According to herself there are some other LBs working there also.

Good news fellow readers.  You can rest assured now Pattaya is mafia free.  That is according to the BIB, and they should know.

“Mafia-Free Pattaya” declaration by Police General

For the second time in a month a senior Police Officer has declared that Pattaya is “Mafia-free” and Thai and Foreign Tourists should feel assured that the city is safe and the chances of them becoming the victim of crime are very slim. The declaration was made by Police General Wutti, Senior Adviser to the National Police Commissioner, who presided over a press conference in the grounds of Pattaya Police Station on Saturday. Two crime prevention operations running from 1st to 31st August are currently underway and involve many Police Divisions who presented their results of the crackdowns so-far to the General. As of Saturday, officers had solved 1,024 cases and made 1,056 arrests. Seizures of illegal items include 102,495 Yabba Tablets, 1,100kgs of Crystal Methamphetamine, 1kg of Marijuana, 47 guns and a selection of pornographic materials and sex toys along with sex enhancement medication and copyright branded clothes and other items. The General laughed as journalists asked him about whether Pattaya had “mafia” cells operating within the city. He stated that Pattaya was safe and many crimes, especially those involving tourists were minor ones and committed by opportunist small-time criminals.

Sara of Famous Bar is looking for a guy to sponsor her in the Miss Mama Sang contest at NAB.

NAB is a late night gay club in Noth Pattaya.  Between Beach Road and 2nd  Road; between Soi 5 and Soi 6.  Hidden away, just follow the yellow brick road.

If only there was someone to protect us from the police...

In a songtaew on my way over to Soi 6 early this morning I saw half a dozen of their finest stood at the junction of Buakhao and soi15 (up from The Avenue) around 3am waving down people on motorcycles for any number of miniscule misdemeanors.

I realise the locals are struggling at the moment, it was obvious when I strolled around 6 and 6/1 later on, but those BiB looked so thirsty and were gasping for a nice cup of Lipton's.
